    The future

If anything, consoles are becoming more and more like PCs. The big thing is this though. We may see streaming take over in the next 5-10 years. Which means we could see less consoles. I don't think we'll outright get rid of pcs, but I think consoles gaming will change a lot.
  2. Right now i don't usually use mice for gaming. I did have a corsair gaming mouse my boss sent me, but it stopped working after a while. I now use a wireless mouse from verbatim that I use most of the time for work. But I use a controller for gaming.
  3. Depends on the console and the TV. Honestly when we're playing, we probably barely notice the difference. Which is why I never felt the need to purchase a 4k monitor or TV for my room. It also depends on size. So say a smaller TV, you probably don't need a 4k version. If anything, something 1080p would be best for a smaller TV. And if you decide to go really big, then a 4k TV would be recommended.
  4. Mine is in my room. My tv and my PC setup. It's nothing special, if anything it's far too much of a mess right now. Should be getting some chairs soon from my sister, so will be tossing the love seat I have in here currently.
  5. Well another case of I was born too late. Because now Japan are starting their own schools for esports. I think we're going to see a lot more schools and courses for esports in school. I bet in the next 5-10 years, most schools will have their own gaming league or esports team or courses. 6. Thats why I like libraries. I remember renting movies at my local library, and I think they even rented out games too, I think. But either way, it's cool that libraries are offering these options for people to rent and or borrow games. Anyway, a library in Texas has added 1500 video games from Playstation 4, Xbox one, and the switch to their catalog that you can borrow. 7. No way, I guess there was a game boy color addon where you could kinda get the internet. It wasn't much, but you could potentially see the weather, read the news, and even send pictures with the game boy camera. It was called the page boy.
  8. Well that sucks. I think Guillermo Del Toro could add a lot to gaming with his brilliant storytelling and style. I hope he reconsiders his decision. Cause I'd like to see him staying in the gaming world. What do you guys think? Source- https://www.bignewsnetwork.com/news/272030930/guillermo-del-toro-wont-be-developing-video-games-again
  9. Do you think one day, we could see let's players and streamers in actual theaters? I know some let's players have done live shows, but I bet people would pay to see some streams and events in a movie theater. Idk, do you think it could work?
  10. Are there any good goosebumps games? I think there was one that came our recently. But I don't remember if it got good reviews. Has there been other goosebumps games out there? Any good ones?
  11. What would you guys say are art house style video games? Like you know how they make art style movies. I wonder if any games would qualify as art house in genre. Do you think any games do? Would Indie games equate to art house?
  12. Does it seem like we don't see a lot of shows based on cartoon shows these days. Back in the day we'd get a ton of Simpsons games, even had a family guy game. We go some south park games, but I feel like there's a missed opportunity when they could make a risk and morty game, another Simpsons or family guy game. I'd love for an American Dad game. It doesn't have to make sense either. I think even a Bob's Burgers game would be fun. What do you guys think?
  13. If I were you guys, I'd outright skip the Remastered Trilogy until they fix it. Or buy the original editions on steam and just mod them. You're going to get better results doing that anyway. Let's just say that the remastered versions are a broken mess with a ton of problems.
  14. I think you're confused about the topic. I'm asking if there are video games that you have played that are unintentionally scary, as in they aren't supposed to be, but you are scared of something in the game that most would deem not scary at all. Get what I'm saying? Those games aren't they horror games? I know little nightmares is a horror game, but I never played Call of Cthulu though, but I imagine it's a scary or horror game.
  15. Same, it's also pretty tiny for a mini-fridge. I mean, I could probably get an actual mini-fridge with a freezer and all that with lots more space for around the same price or a little more. This is just for the novelty of it. I don't think it's worth the money. But if it ever goes down in price a lot, I may pick one up finally.
  16. I agree, but there's still a chance that there are tons of SMB3 in new & prestine condition on the market and in the wild. Once more are found, those prices are going to drop considerably. We've already saw it with smb3 and people putting them up for auction. Once more pop up, the price will just continue to drop. Especially for a mass produced game. There are probably collectors holding onto copies, and there's still a big chance there are sealed copies all over the world. With Little Samson, it may not go for much to start off. But with how limited it is, it has a chance to increase in price. But even so, if more copies of that game are found in similar condition, it'll likely result in lower prices. The market is stingy with rarity. You may think one minute that game is worth a ton, but when you start to see more and more show up in auction, in ebay, etc, it starts to look like the game isn't worth as much as they were claiming it to be worth. So you start to see lower listing in the coming months. Essentially, these games are probably not near what they're saying they're worth. It's so hard to pin down a price when these auction houses are inflating prices to make it look like something is worth more. I just think it's a bit shady on their part. I don't believe the games they show are worth as much as they list them for.

    Among Us VR

Yeah, I didn't see it coming either, but it kinda makes sense right? It is in 3D it seems, so it'll be like any other VR game, but you'll be able to play popular among us levels in vr.
  18. Yup, blockchain and nft nonsense. I never understood how we got here. Nfts are blowing up right now, so I could see more games featuring them. Idk about that last part. You can play these games, nfts and stuff are being added in for guns, skins and other stuff. It shouldn't impede your progress any.
  19. Oh yeah, there hasn't been an X-Files game in years. Bet the last one came out early 2000s, but that is just a guess.
  20. Idk I prefer it a lot more than what we got in GTA V. It's pretty easy to do though. It's more about counters, I forget exactly how, but you need to wait for them to punch at a certain point and the you hit back. Have fun with the achievement where I think you have to fight 4 or 5 taxi drivers at once. I swear there's an achievement like that.
  21. Look at epic games. Fortnite alone proves a game can be successful as free to play, as long as they promote a battlepass and other micro transactions. EA already does it with Apex Legends. Activision does it with COD Warzobe, which is also free to play. Those big time studios are the ones that could easily handle free to play. Look at GTA Online. Yeah sure you gotta buy the base game, but they could easily make GTA online free to play, because they know fans would buy up shark cards and other micro transactions. Free to play doesn't mean it's 100% free either. It's free to usually start, but they entice you to buy character skins, weapons and other items.
  22. That's awesome. I could probably play a couple hours, but by the time I'm done with work I just am not in the mood. And then before work I'm just dreading the time I have until work starts again so I'm rarely in the mood as of late. 😞
  23. I've been trying to play splitgate and that BeamDrive game with the real car physics through steam. But, I'm getting errors that they're both missing files. So that's fun. Other than that I haven't played much this week. Played some more wreckfest as well.
  24. Yeah true. I'm mainly referring to those who don't usually take breaks. Ones who will stay gaming for long hours. Working out is great though, and would probably be the best option overall. But for those who aren't normally working out, getting up for a break is recommended. Idk how well they'd do standing up, but it could be the start of getting healthier too.
  25. Oh of course, many other companies in the gaming industry are just as bad, if not, worse sometimes. The gaming industry has to change a lot to make up for their problems I think.
