  1. Sadly I don't have much gaming memorabilia. I have an Xbox hat, some small collectibles and posters. That's really about it though. I wouldn't mind getting one of those Jason figures that are based on the Friday the 13th NES game. But I also have some Mario figures, a couple amiibos and a few other things. But no big collectibles or anything yet.
  2. Has there been any games made around Covid? I know there's been a fair share of mobile games, but I don't much care for the mobile side of things. Have there been any new games coming out that are about covid? I know the gaming industry likes to try random things, so I figure there are some who have made games about defeating covid. I doubt any of the games are any good. Did you play a game about covid this year?

    We Are OFK

This game looks interesting. It's essentially a story driven game about a band, and each episode I guess features their music. I think it's an interesting way to promote ones music. Do you guys think you'd play this one? It looks like it'll only be coming out for PS4 & PS5.

    DNF Duel

Has anyone here heard of this game? It looks to be coming out in the Summer of 2022. It's said to be a fighting game based on The Dungeon and Fighter franchise. I can't say I've heard of it, or played them, but the game looks pretty decent. Is this a buy for you?
  5. What are some of your favorite RC Racing Games? I played a lot of the original RC Pro Am growing up. I also think I played a Micro Machines game as well, but idk if that qualifies as RC related. Either way, what are some of the best RC racing games out there? Cars, boats, planes etc. Any RC related racing game will count.
  6. Has there ever been a video game that released literal viruses into gamers PCs? I swear I heard there was a couple PC games that accidentally tossed in viruses in their releases. Do you think any games caused real damage to people's PCs in the past because of it? I'm curious, because PC gaming back in the day was all over the place. I imagine a lot of bootleg games came out, plus indie games on top of it.
  7. Well covid started up soon after and I just never bothered to go. As well I'm unsure as to what arcades they got. They have other games, like the basketball one, and a few others. Saw images inside and it looks good. I'm surprised it's still open, because I don't know if many people even go there.
  8. Hmm, I had no idea. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to shut down at night going forward. It doesn't take too long to turn on anyway, so I could always just turn it on in the morning when I wake up. Easy peasy.
  9. Ah okay, I'll just clean it manually. My keyboard is due for a deep cleaning anyway, and I already have my keycap puller so I'm ready to go. Just lazy about doing it lol.
  10. And to think, these major big box stores could easily afford to lose some of their stock like this. What I think would be cool, is if stores like Wal-mart, took some of their stock and just gave it away during the holidays. I think that'd be a cool gesture by these massive stores. Also, maybe gift your employees with fun gifts, especially if they worked a long time there already.
  11. Same, which is why I'm hoping for a sequel or a reboot if anything. I don't think I'd want a remaster or remake of the original games. Just give us something new please. You can remaster Gex later.
  12. I believe it. We're leaving a major environmental footprint with tech in the world. And if we continue to have places with tons of servers, that's going to run up electricity like crazy. Servers are also known to put out a ton of heat, so who knows exactly how it's affecting the world as a whole. But yeah, I get it's not good. Hopefully they can figure out an alternative that wouldn't hurt the planet.
  13. Are there any games where you can play as the President of the USA? I know there was a secret service game where you protect a president, but I don't know if any games exist where you play as the president himself. If not, I think it'd be fun to have a game where you're the president, and you have to fight or battle to protect yourself and your people. Would you play a game where you're the president?
  14. Oh of course. Cheap doesn't mean bad. Sometimes it does, but not always. I am mainly asking for cheap peripherals that actually work good. With the PS4 controllers I can understand that. With the 360 and Xbox One/Series X/S their third party controllers are a bit better imo. At least with the PDP and PowerA brands of controllers. PDP is more cheap, but PowerA imo, has a good set of third party controllers. Yeah Razer is a brand I'd like to check out. A bit pricey for my taste, but I hear they are fairly decent. And the one you shared is pretty cheap, so I can't complain. They're around. I haven't noticed any price increased on third party controllers or peripherals yet, but it could happen I'm sure.
  15. That's fair. I don't have the system yet myself. I may consider one of these skins, but I think the standard white case is just as fine. I also don't know what they are pricing these at. I have a feeling they're going to be pricey. Yeah it's not bad. But I can understand why some would want to make it all black. It would look pretty sleek in black.
  16. I tend to sit a lot when gaming, but I know I probably should be moving around more instead of sitting in one place for a long period of time. I was curious if anyone here likes to stand sometimes while gaming? I was thinking about getting myself a standing desk, just so I have to stand up and work instead of sitting all day. I figure I could work this into gaming as well. I think it's a great thing to do to promote better health, but I don't think I can stand for long hours. But, it's good to move around a bit after gaming.
  17. It's also because studios aren't given as much time as they need to make games. So when they are given a deadline and it's a deadline the company can't break, it causes a lot of stress on the employees, as they have to rush to get a job done. Which also results in glitches and problems. As we've seen with the GTA trilogy remaster.
  18. There isn't that many celeb involvement with video games. There has been of course some actors making the jump to gaming. Keanu Reeves was in Cyberpunk 2077, Bruce Willis in Apocalypse. Michael Jackson in Moonwalker, Samuel L. Jackson in GTA San Andreas and so on. I'm not saying celebs don't show up or do voice acting in games, but it feels relatively small in terms of how many celebs have worked in games. Why don't we see more celebs taking roles in video games? Is it a money thing? I know voice actors don't make a ton, so maybe that's partly why.
  19. Psychonauts 2 came out fairly recently and it took the team behind it years to make happen. But, it finally released and fans were happy with the end result. With that being said, do you think Psychonauts 3 will happen? And if it does, will it release a lot faster than the second game? A trilogy of the series would be cool, but I could see them doing spin-offs of the games as well.
  20. The majority of gamers probably won't be able to hit 600 hours. It'll only be the hardcore gamers who intentionally go for these NFTs. I don't have the dedication to do that myself. I barely have time for most games these days, so not going to entertain the idea of gaming that long for something that probably won't pay off in the long run anyway. Ubisoft already is, and I'm willing to bet EA is going to jump into the fray as well.
  21. 2021 was a year full of controversies, from Ubisoft knowing about sexual assault allegations, Activision and Blizzard doing the same, and allowing their CEO to stay on after he knew as well. The release of GTA trilogy, Gamestop stock fiasco and more. This year has been a mess, and that's not just because of covid. Gaming companies are being awful to their developers, their employees, and to the gamers out there. Gaming companies seem to only care about themselves and their bottom dollar. They will let a CEO like Bobby Kotick stay in power, all the while people under him have been hurt. I hope 2022 is a change of pace and a change to the way studios are running things. Because if we don't do anything, 2022 will just be another year of blunders that big time studios continue to make. 22. idk, my Xbox One beeps at startup and I actually kinda like it. I imagine I'd like the beep the PS4 makes at startup. I've heard it before and honestly it's kinda soothing if that makes sense. A lot of the time, startup sounds relax me. It was the same way with the Windows themes when you turn the PC on back in the day.
  23. Do you guys ever bother with the cheap peripherals out there? Third party peripherals is one thing, but the discount crappy, or cheap peripherals is what we're talking about. Like the weird bootleg PS3 controllers you can get on many sites, that are just made of cheap plastic and barely any other material. I rarely buy cheap peripherals unless I know full well the device works. If it's cheap, it has to work, but also not be too cheap to the point it'd break after a few uses. I will sometimes buy the PDP controllers, they're pretty decent, but really cheap from what I recall. But, for the most part, it gets the job done for controllers. But, what are some cheaply made peripherals that are actually decent and worth the money?

    Swat games

Do you guys have any recommendations for swat style games? I know there are some games simply titled Swat, and I hear those are pretty decent games, but are there any others you guys know of? I heard of a game called Ready or Not, which is a swat sim style game where it is a realistic tactical shooter. You have to make decisions on the fly, it's quite entertaining. Check out SomeOrdinaryGamers video on it.
  25. I think GTA IV had the best drunk movement and walk. GTA V has something like it, but it's not nearly as funny as what it was like in GTA IV. I wish drunk animation was more realistic and it made gameplay even tougher, much like how it was with GTA IV and V. RDR2 did drunk gameplay pretty good too, but idk, it didn't feel as funny as GTA IV's was. I hate when some games just make the screen shake. Maybe the body ragdoll, and have trouble moving around. idk, it's funner that way imo.
