  1. Games like Madden, Call of Duty, Battlefield and a few others haven't graced a Nintendo console in years. But, with there possibly being a 4K Switch coming soon, it got me thinking. Will companies start to push triple A games to the Switch? I would love for Nintendo to get some love. Even so, they probably don't even need these triple A games, especially with all of their exclusives. But it would be nice to see them get some of those titles. What do you guys think? Would you like to see more triple A games landing on the Switch?
  2. True. But I hear it's become kind of pricey due to it not being available on the online marketplace anymore. I could get it on Xbox One though for around $20-30 used, so not bad I suppose. I might have to pick up a copy soon.
  3. Yeah I have a LED clock and a few small LED lights, but those don't bother me all that much. When I was working this one job that required me to wake up at 5am, I had to have my room pitch dark. I have black out curtains too, so that helps a ton. Can't say I've heard of it, but I'm for sure going to check it out now. I think it depends on the person. I like having a fan on when I sleep, as I don't like it to be too quiet. There are times where I can sleep with someone gaming. But I would prefer it to be dark. In the past though, I've found that it can sometimes help me fall asleep. Even hearing someone snore or cough has helped me sleep.
  4. That makes sense. I would love for it to happen now, but I get wanting to extend the story some before going that route. The next Star Wars game could be anything, as there are so many stories in the Star Wars universe.
  5. Uncharted will be one of the games it's coming with, but I'll for sure check out some of the other games. I heard great things about Gravity Rush though, so I think I'll pick that one up first.
  6. I don't think there is yet a game based on the Archer series. I would love to see a game based around it though, as I could see it actually working. They could mix in some stealth, in first person, have some shooting mechanics and so on.
  7. Anyone here play this game? I'm considering checking it out soon, and wanted to get some opinions of it before I jump at it. Is it a good game? is it worth the price? Here's a trailer to refresh your memory if you don't recall it:
  8. Has anyone here played this game on the NES? I remember getting it when I was young, and I couldn't really get into it. The game is kind of tough at times, and slow. I never pushed too far in the game though, so I can't honestly say for sure how much I played. Anyway did anyone here play it? And if you did, were you able to beat it? It's probably not that hard of a game, but I remember it being hard when I was a kid.
  9. Source - VideoGamesChronicle The devs of Ghost of Tsushima have been made permanent ambassadors of the Japanese island of Tsushima. They are tourism ambassadors of the city in Nagasaki. Japan was happy with the game, and how they showed the history of the area, especially with the Gen-ko period, as some people in Japan don't even know the history. Pretty cool stuff!
  10. In before everyone says "Valve can't count to 3". With that being said, do you think Portal 3 will ever happen? It's been so long since Portal 2, and I'm sure fans are ready for another game in the series. I don't get why Valve does this, they release a couple games in short time spans between each other and then go dark. Do you think a Portal sequel will happen? I hope so one of these days, but my guess is that it won't happen.
  11. What are some teen/adult cartoon shows that deserve to get their own video games? If you're wondering, I view something like The Simpsons as Teen, and something like South Park Adult. But, I would also tie in Family Guy and American Dad somewhere in the middle. We already got a game for Family Guy, and multiple games for South Park. I would love to see an American Dad game, but not sure what they'd do there. Rick and Morty has already gotten games, but I wouldn't mind a more platformer like Rick and Morty game, something similar to The SImpsons Game or even that Family Guy game. Other cartoons teen/adult rated, that I'd like to see get a video game are; Bob's Burgers (not sure how it'd work, but I'd love it), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (I feel like they already did one), Another Beavis and Butthead, and maybe Archer. I could see Archer being a fun game.
  12. No way, that's awesome. Pretty impressive with what they've done. I was watching a friend play this game, and he was fighting this giant, and it looked so cool. I might have to finally pick it up. Damn, you're really into this game. Yeah I'm excited to see what the future brings for this game. They already seem to be killing it with the game, so it's interesting to wonder what they can do next.
  13. That's fair lol 😄 Same here. I was born in 89, so I just got into games during the NES/SNES time. I think one of my uncles had a Magnavox Odyssey that was in their shed for years. I should have grabbed it back when he let me go through it. I regret not doing that.
  14. Westwood, Interplay and Gremlin Interactive are ones I remember a bit. Westwood did mostly PC games correct? I remember a game called Re-Loaded that was made by Gremlin.
  15. Who knows, but I feel it's being done because they want fans to complain about it and push for said products to stay on the marketplace. It's a bit weird though, considering these games are popular enough and I can see them selling well after March 31st.
  16. It's not about the genitalia, it's more about outward appearances of your character. If someone is trans, it allows them to make their character in their image. Most games don't give such options, or at least not enough options yet. It's about giving the player as many options as possible too and that's awesome. I want to be able to customize my characters anyway I see fit. Some people want to design a character that matches them. Some don't, and that's cool too. But I see no issues with games doing this more often, because it means more gamers represented.
  17. Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break and Control. Remedy games have made a slew of great games over the years. But what do you think they could do next? They haven't really done many sequels since Max Payne 2, but could they do a sequel to Alan Wake? Maybe even more of Control? I don't see them working on a new Quantum Break, but ya never know. I think they will create a completely new game. What do you think? Also, you can read this article here for more speculation about what they could be doing next - GameIndustryBiz
  18. An article by NBC News talks about a gaming grandma. Michelle Statham, is a 56 year old grandma who wrecks people in games like She even goes as TacticalGramma online, and seems to be popular among fans. She streams on Twitch and Facebook, and has kind of blown up because of TikTok. Her game of choice, is Call of Duty Warzone. I'm hoping I am still gaming until I get old. I think it's going to be fun seeing all these old timers streaming in the next 10-20 years or so. lol. Also, I am for sure jealous of her gaming setup. 😄
  19. According to mp1st, Sony's PlayStation London Studio is working on something that has huge potential. What that is, is currently unknown, but they have history of working with VR titles, so it's likely whatever they're making is in VR. OOoh, how cool would it be if it's like God of War VR. lol I doubt that, but it'd be cool. What do you think they are working on?
  20. Do you create your own servers for games? As in a server you can host your own world/map/game etc. I hate playing on public servers, so I tend to delve into private ones. But, I would rather make my own servers for these games. Any tips on how to actually get started with this?
  21. What are some of the best games available for the PSVita? I might be picking up a vita from Facebook marketplace, and I was wondering what games I should be on the lookout for when I finally get it? What would you say are the best games?
  22. I would never waste money on it. If I saw it out in the wild for cheap, maybe then. But yeah, I remember it coming out in Japan only. Would have been cool if it took off and came to the states though. Wonder how much life it would have gotten out of the N64.
  23. I never used Teamspeak, but a few events I was a part of, the people we played with, wanted us to all use teamspeak and we were more into using Discord.
  24. And it seems like they're going up in prices too. Last time I saw it was like $150, and now they're starting to go up in price like $160+. I could buy their capture card for PC, but even that is pricey. But, I suppose streaming from my PC will have to do.
  25. That is an interesting point. I think most of the newer games had clothed characters, but I could be wrong.
