Well that's something I guess. Could mean we can have more options for gaming, right on our xbox consoles. I guess MS is testing a new Edge Chromium browser for the Xbox consoles. I guess current beta testers for the Xbox side of things, can test out this new browser. This is pretty cool stuff, considering the current browser the Xbox has is pretty awful. I wouldn't mind having the option to stream content on this browser. It would open the Xbox up for many possibilities. 🙂 Which means, we can probably also play Amazon Luna and other game streaming services. You can read about this news here - Video games Chronicle

Of course, now Take Two seems to be into the $70 pricetag for new games. I have to disagree with that, especially with how Take-Two is raking in the dough from GTA V all these years. I don't think they really need to do this. They make way more than enough money as it is with their games. And hell, Take-Two probably doesn't even have to release any new games. They can keep re-releasing GTA V and pushing people to buy shark cards all the time. They'll still make millions, and maybe billions more. Anyway, the CEO of Take-Two Strauss Zelnick, believes that gamers are ready for it too. Are you guys ready for it? I don't think so. Them charging $70 won't change anything, they'll still throw a ton of microtransactions and loot boxes at gamers. That's a given. Read all about it here - Eurogamer

I may not be familiar with most Nintendo games releasing today, but I do feel that the newer games that I have played, tend to be a bit easier than the good old retro NES/SNES/N64 etc games. Nintendo Enthusiast wrote an article about how Nintendo games today are often too easy compared to how difficult games used to be. Do you agree? The last SMB game I played was Mario 3D Land on the 3DS, and honestly, it felt way easier than most Mario games. Alberit, there was some tough levels, but it just didn't feel up to the level of past Mario games and their difficulty.

Who's ready for some news that I'm sure you probably don't care much about. But for those Tomb Raider fans out there, it might be worth your time. I guess it was recently leaked on the Xbox store, that there is going to be a definitive trilogy released that includes all 3 Square Enix Tomb Raider games. I played the first two games in the new series and really enjoyed them. But haven't yet played the third game as I heard it wasn't as good as the first two. Maybe it's time I grab this and replay them all including the 3rd game. For those wondering, it will include these games: Tomb Raider Rise of the Tomb Raider Shadow of the Tomb Raider Read all about it here - Twisted Voxel

This game looks like it's going to be fun. I normally am not one for beatemups, but this one looks like it's going to be fun. Especially with the Kung-fu gameplay. I'm also digging the simplistic, but cool graphics. I just hope the combat is easy to get used to.

This looks to just have been announced, and I gotta admit, it looks pretty decent. It looks to be very inspired by PT, as you can clearly tell by the trailer below and the comparison video after it. Do you think this is a buy for you? I know there's a few hardcore horror fans here, and this looks like something you guys would be into. Check the vids out below and tell us what you think. And here's a comparison between Evil Inside and PT:

More characters are coming out for Smash Bros. on the Switch, and it made me wonder, what characters have not yet been featured in Smash? Maybe a Nintendo character from the past. I figure most Nintendo characters are featured already. Is anyone missing from Nintendo's side? Didn't they add Banjo and Kazooie at some point? If not, I think it'd be cool if Microsoft were to let that happen. What are some characters you'd like to see included?

What are some filmmakers you think would be good to do a video game? I know Steven Spielberg has done his share of games, Medal of Honor comes to mind. I know Guillermo Del Toro has wanted to make a horror game, and I think there are other directors who could do games. I would love to see Scorsese work on a game. The guy has no coding skills I imagine, but it would be great to get a Mafia game from him. The story side of it if anything. Christopher Nolan would make an awesome game I bet.

Games like Madden, Call of Duty, Battlefield and a few others haven't graced a Nintendo console in years. But, with there possibly being a 4K Switch coming soon, it got me thinking. Will companies start to push triple A games to the Switch? I would love for Nintendo to get some love. Even so, they probably don't even need these triple A games, especially with all of their exclusives. But it would be nice to see them get some of those titles. What do you guys think? Would you like to see more triple A games landing on the Switch?

Is the Deadpool game as good as the movies and comic books?
Kane99 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
True. But I hear it's become kind of pricey due to it not being available on the online marketplace anymore. I could get it on Xbox One though for around $20-30 used, so not bad I suppose. I might have to pick up a copy soon. -
Yeah I have a LED clock and a few small LED lights, but those don't bother me all that much. When I was working this one job that required me to wake up at 5am, I had to have my room pitch dark. I have black out curtains too, so that helps a ton. Can't say I've heard of it, but I'm for sure going to check it out now. I think it depends on the person. I like having a fan on when I sleep, as I don't like it to be too quiet. There are times where I can sleep with someone gaming. But I would prefer it to be dark. In the past though, I've found that it can sometimes help me fall asleep. Even hearing someone snore or cough has helped me sleep.

That makes sense. I would love for it to happen now, but I get wanting to extend the story some before going that route. The next Star Wars game could be anything, as there are so many stories in the Star Wars universe.

Uncharted will be one of the games it's coming with, but I'll for sure check out some of the other games. I heard great things about Gravity Rush though, so I think I'll pick that one up first.

I don't think there is yet a game based on the Archer series. I would love to see a game based around it though, as I could see it actually working. They could mix in some stealth, in first person, have some shooting mechanics and so on.

Anyone here play this game? I'm considering checking it out soon, and wanted to get some opinions of it before I jump at it. Is it a good game? is it worth the price? Here's a trailer to refresh your memory if you don't recall it:

Has anyone here played this game on the NES? I remember getting it when I was young, and I couldn't really get into it. The game is kind of tough at times, and slow. I never pushed too far in the game though, so I can't honestly say for sure how much I played. Anyway did anyone here play it? And if you did, were you able to beat it? It's probably not that hard of a game, but I remember it being hard when I was a kid.

Source - VideoGamesChronicle The devs of Ghost of Tsushima have been made permanent ambassadors of the Japanese island of Tsushima. They are tourism ambassadors of the city in Nagasaki. Japan was happy with the game, and how they showed the history of the area, especially with the Gen-ko period, as some people in Japan don't even know the history. Pretty cool stuff!

In before everyone says "Valve can't count to 3". With that being said, do you think Portal 3 will ever happen? It's been so long since Portal 2, and I'm sure fans are ready for another game in the series. I don't get why Valve does this, they release a couple games in short time spans between each other and then go dark. Do you think a Portal sequel will happen? I hope so one of these days, but my guess is that it won't happen.

What are some teen/adult cartoon shows that deserve to get their own video games? If you're wondering, I view something like The Simpsons as Teen, and something like South Park Adult. But, I would also tie in Family Guy and American Dad somewhere in the middle. We already got a game for Family Guy, and multiple games for South Park. I would love to see an American Dad game, but not sure what they'd do there. Rick and Morty has already gotten games, but I wouldn't mind a more platformer like Rick and Morty game, something similar to The SImpsons Game or even that Family Guy game. Other cartoons teen/adult rated, that I'd like to see get a video game are; Bob's Burgers (not sure how it'd work, but I'd love it), Aqua Teen Hunger Force (I feel like they already did one), Another Beavis and Butthead, and maybe Archer. I could see Archer being a fun game.

No way, that's awesome. Pretty impressive with what they've done. I was watching a friend play this game, and he was fighting this giant, and it looked so cool. I might have to finally pick it up. Damn, you're really into this game. Yeah I'm excited to see what the future brings for this game. They already seem to be killing it with the game, so it's interesting to wonder what they can do next.

That's fair lol 😄 Same here. I was born in 89, so I just got into games during the NES/SNES time. I think one of my uncles had a Magnavox Odyssey that was in their shed for years. I should have grabbed it back when he let me go through it. I regret not doing that.

Westwood, Interplay and Gremlin Interactive are ones I remember a bit. Westwood did mostly PC games correct? I remember a game called Re-Loaded that was made by Gremlin.

New Harry Potter Game Will Allow Transgender Characters
Kane99 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
It's not about the genitalia, it's more about outward appearances of your character. If someone is trans, it allows them to make their character in their image. Most games don't give such options, or at least not enough options yet. It's about giving the player as many options as possible too and that's awesome. I want to be able to customize my characters anyway I see fit. Some people want to design a character that matches them. Some don't, and that's cool too. But I see no issues with games doing this more often, because it means more gamers represented. -
Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break and Control. Remedy games have made a slew of great games over the years. But what do you think they could do next? They haven't really done many sequels since Max Payne 2, but could they do a sequel to Alan Wake? Maybe even more of Control? I don't see them working on a new Quantum Break, but ya never know. I think they will create a completely new game. What do you think? Also, you can read this article here for more speculation about what they could be doing next - GameIndustryBiz
