In your opinion, what is the best sonic game ever? Personally I have a fond place for the original Sonic game, as well as Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic Generations, but the rest I've mostly forgotten about. Don't get me started on Sonic 06 lol. But, what would you consider to be the best Sonic game ever? What would your top 3 or 5 be?

You know, it's weird that this game doesn't get as much praise as some of the other Mario games out there. Similarly to my Mario Kart 64 topic, I wanted to start a topic for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Reason why, is because I feel this game is overlooked by many. In fact, I didn't even know about it until my teen years. I was only aware of Super Mario World and not the sequel. I actually just got the game like 5 or so years ago and played it for the first time around then. It's so much different from the first SMW game, that I think that's a big reason why. Playing as Yoshi and baby mario is fun, but I feel like fans didn't enjoy it as much, though I could be wrong. Anyway, what do you guys think of this classic? I wish it was a bit more popular these days, because from what I have played of it, it's a fantastic game.

Well I kind of saw that coming. Bioware was working on some changes for Anthem that were expected to release soon, but they instead have decided to cancel these changes and move on. Sad news indeed, but I don't think this game would have rebounded. The user base was so small, that I doubt people would have jumped back into it. Bioware's focus will instead will be moved to Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles. The good news though, is that they plan to keep the servers active. But who knows how long that will be. Ah I didn't know that about MK64. That sounds very annoying. But I guess it makes sense considering not many people talk about the N64 Mario Kart much.

It was a great show. Are you referring to another season of Black Mirror, or a show that is similar to Black Mirror?

Stardew Valley is more of a harvest moon clone or was inspired by it. So more of a farming game. Terraria would make more sense as it shares some similarities between MC.

I'd say most of the GTA titles, all the 3D platformers like Super Mario 64, RDR1 and 2, Batman Arkham Series and more. There is so many 3rd person titles out there, that it's kind of tough to name all the good ones, as there's so many.

Most open world games to be honest, but the better ones being stuff like Skyrim, Far Cry series, GTA Series, some of the assassin's creed series and many more.

Well, looks like the PS5 will be getting its own VR headset soon, and it's going to be a new fancy one. I wish I had the money to get myself a PS5 and this, but maybe soon enough. We all knew Sony was going to make an upgraded VR headset, and here we go. I just hope they make a ton of games to support it. It feels like PSVR didn't really take off as much as I thought it would. Has anyone here played this game? It's a third person shooter starring 50 Cent and some of his crew from G-Unit. Anyway, I gotta admit, I enjoyed this game. It has some comedy gold, and is actually kind of a competent 3rd person shooter. It's far from perfect, but it's not the worst thing out there. I honestly would probably give this game a 6 or 7 out of 10. Because the gameplay is fun, the story is eh, but I still had a good time. I'm actually considering making it my first game to stream to, but not sure I want to do that just yet.

I remember playing the demo for this game and remember having a blast. Sadly I never got the actual game, because I probably ended up getting the newest WWF Smackdown at the time. But, I've always wanted to add the series to my collection and replay the first one all the way through for the first time. Do you guys remember this game? I remember they even did cross promo with Metal Gear solid 3 I think it was. Great times! 😄

Any fans here of the Twisted Metal series? I only played the first and a portion of the second game. I wasn't too into those types of games. Not sure why, because looking at it now, I could see my young self getting into this. Anyway, what was your favorite from the series? When was the last time they even released a game? Maybe it's time they released a new game. I feel like it's been forever since they have.

I didn't have much time with Mario Kart 64, but I played the hell out of it for a weekend one time. I feel like it doesn't get as much praise as other Mario Kart games, especially some of the newer ones compared to the original SNES one. Back when Minecraft first came out, I got a crappy knock-off game called Fortress Craft on the Xbox 360. To be honest, I still had fun playing it, but it was mostly creative only and didn't have enemies/monsters until later updates. It was fun for a while, but once I got into MC later, I forgot about that game. I wonder if my world is still accessible on my 360. I should check one of these days. 😄

They haven't, they just closed down their internal game studio. They are still supporting 3rd party games, and there is still going to be exclusive games coming out, just from 3rd party teams. It's a big blow, but they're not done yet. There's been no news of Stadia ending just yet. There is a chance they could rebound somewhat, but they need to bring in lots more games. Supposedly there are 100 games coming to Stadia yet, so they're not done yet. As well, you're not forced to pay a subscription to use Stadia. Right now you can play any game you have purchased on the service, but only up to 1080p resolution. If you want higher graphics/visuals etc, that's where the Stadia pro subscription comes in. This allows you to play up to 4K I believe and also gets you some free games a month. So you just need to have the game owned, and a stable internet connection to play it in 1080p. No subscription required.

I wouldn't say "giveaway", it's more like licenced or they're paid to produce content for that publisher/company. But you are correct, many companies licence their properties for other things. For example, Funko toys license properties from pretty much every company out there. They do DC, Marvel, Disney, Fox, and pretty much every other property out there at the moment.

Yeah I heard that too. I especially believe it after Bandersnatch. And who knows, it could have been a pitch for a game, or maybe even a hint that one could be coming. And I could see him providing a lot to a video game world.

Thanks for sharing your reviews. I played the first game and loved it. I recommend a second playthrough, and just mess around and do fun creative kills. There are some fun things you can do in this game when you upgrade your skills enough. One thing I also liked about it, was that you could finish both games without killing anyone. There were other options you could do to complete the mission. I remember one mission you could set your target up to be taken away or arrested or whatever. I forget how it goes, but that was the only mission from the first game where I didn't kill the target. I think I killed everyone after that (targets I mean). I tried to not kill everyone though. But you could get pretty creative with the kills, especially when you unlock more skills.

This is an interesting bit of news. Rainbow Six Siege is going to get a new elite skin, this one being for the character Zofia, who will be getting a Jill Valentine costume. Here we go again. Looks like Soulja Boy is producing another console. I shouldn't say produce, as he's probably going to find a cheap Chinese console and will brand it with his name like he did the last time. Ugh, more politicians who believe violent video games are the reason for bad things happening. In this case, it's about carjacking being on the rise, and Republican Marcus Evans wants to prohibit the sale of violent games that promote criminal activity. And yet no mention of the other violent media we see on tv and in movies. The law he wants to change was established in 2012, and that law prohibited the sale of violent games to children, but now he wants to ban all violent games that promote this type of stuff. I would love to see a video game based around Black Mirror created. And before anyone says there already is one, that is not based on the Black Mirror show. There is a video game called The Black Mirror, but it's not about the show. Anyway, I'm sure some of you saw Black Mirror Bandersnatch, which was kind of like a video game itself, but not in the traditional sense. I feel a video game in this world would work really well, especially with how crazy the show could get. What do you guys think?

The recent Nintendo Direct announced that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is getting an HD version for the Nintendo Switch. Fans were hoping for a sequel to Breath of the Wild, but instead got teased this. I know fans have kind of considered this the worst Zelda game, or just not as good as the others in the franchise. What do you guys think of this game? I never played it myself, so I can't judge on it, but I know there are fans who like it, while others who would rather ignore it. I think the main reason people didn't like it, was because of the motion controls back then. So, are you going to pick it up?

Yeah, but I'm too lazy when it comes to having to unplug stuff lol. So that's why I prefer to have one without a light. And thanks for sharing, I will for sure check that out.

A couple times the power has gone out while I was gaming. Thankfully I haven't had to deal with any corrupted saves or anything else. Probably just had to restart a few missions, but that was about it.
