  1. Yeah, that was clear from what the hackers said. I heard somewhere that it was someone on the inside who did this. I wouldn't doubt it. I bet a lot of people on the dev team are mad at the higher ups.
  2. That's the point of a simulation game though. The boring/mundane jobs are part of that. I'm not allowed to post this or something? I saw it was announced, I figured I'd post about it. Sorry if it sounds like a promo, that was not my intention. I just wanted to provide more context on the game. I also didn't see any other topics pertaining to police simulators here. So it was wide open for discussion. As well, you may think these sorts of games aren't popular, but you'd be wrong. These games have a community of gamers/fans all over the world. Hell, look at GTA V, many people only roleplay as police officers in that, so it's not far off that a police sim would be of interest to some people. I'm excited for it because it interests me. And I've never played any of the other police sims out there, so I'm fresh to the genre.
  3. Want to be a cop, but in virtual form? Look no further than Police Simulator: Patrol Officers a new Police simulator from Aesir Interactive and astragon Entertainment. It's not to be confused with other Police Simulators on Steam for example, as this is a different studio. Watch the trailer below. Is this something you'd buy?
  4. It seems RS:S is still very popular to this day. I never really got into it much myself, but I understand why people like it. Thing is, in this day and age, everything seems to get a yearly release, but Siege is different, in that it's been going strong since 2015. Do you ever think Siege will get a sequel? Now that the new gen consoles are out, I could see a sequel coming. But, do you care if they do or not? They could just remaster this for new gen and call it a day.
  5. Looks very souls like to me. Liking the direction it is going so far. Just wonder how tough of a game it is going to be.
  6. Check out this sneak peek of MetaHuman Creator. It's a tool that can make realistic 3D models much easier than what is currently possible. I'm excited to see more. This could also help make game productions go a lot faster. Watch the video below.
  7. Of course they did. Remember the news of the Xbox 360 Goldeneye 007 remake? Well, the reason why it never came to be, was because Nintendo said no, that they weren't putting a Nintendo game on a Microsoft console. You can read all about it here - Nintendo Link Seems pretty odd considering Perfect Dark and other Nintendo games are on Xbox consoles because of their purchase of Rare. I also didn't think Nintendo holds any rights to the 007 Goldeneye name. But I could be wrong.
  8. I want a life size figure. I saw one of those Solid Snake statues online years ago. I wish I had the money to buy something like that, or even have one made.
  9. They cancelled the one in 2020, but this will be E3s first attempt at a virtual event. I really think this is our future. I think it's going to be too big of a risk even with the vaccine out, so I think people will just move on to virtual for the time being.
  10. I don't know. If it sells retro hardware and devices, I think we can count it. 🙂
  11. It's a great game, but I would't go as far to say it's one of the best games. The game hasn't aged well especially with the really outdated controls. Even back then I hated the controls. I played the PS2 though, so it may have been different on the PC. I know it looked a lot better on PC. The story and setting was great, but I just don't see it being in a top 10 list, or even a top 20 list. I could see it in a top 100 or so. That's just how I feel.
  12. Limbo was great, but I gave up after one section I couldn't get past. And I tried forever. I just got annoyed and quit from there. I should give it another try soon.
  13. Looks like the E3 expo will be taking place this year, but this time in virtual form due to the pandemic. Last year they had to cancel the 2020 E3 event, and it was looking like a physical event was a no go for this year too, but thankfully they are deciding to go the virtual route like everyone else. Thing is, they still need to get studios and publishers to show up, and who knows if they will. You can read more about this news here - VGC
  14. With the recent news about Gamestop stock blowing up, and then falling right back down, it got me thinking. What video games or gaming companies would you actually invest in if you could? I obviously wouldn't put money in Gamestop anytime, soon, but I'm sure there are some studios, publishers and even games that have stocks worth investing in. I don't have the knowledge of stocks, so I doubt I'd ever try to invest.
  15. We all knew Grand Theft Auto V broke records during its initial release, but it's continuing to make that record even harder to obtain, as they have sold over 140 millions units of GTA V, that is an impressive number right there. As well, the article states RDR2 sold 36 millions units, which is no small number either. Rockstar is pulling in the cash big time and with a new version of GTA V coming for PS5 and the new Xbox, do you think it could eventually break 200 million units? Still, Minecraft has sold over 200million, so it's going to be hard to catch up, but it's possible. Read more about this news here - Twinfinite
  16. Has anyone here broken any records in Super Mario Maker 1 and 2? I've only played a few times, and sadly have no records to show for myself yet. But, what about you guys? Ever break any tough records? If so, which records did you break and how long did it take you?
  17. Do you guys think the Switch is the best Nintendo Console yet? According to VGCulture HQ it is. Do you agree? I get why someone would say it, as the Switch has brought back Nintendo from it's past generations. The Wii U was a failure, but the Switch helped Nintendo rebound big time. Anyway, I think the only problem I see with the switch is joycon drift and the small buttons (for me personally). But other than that, I do agree that Nintendo may have found their best console yet with the Switch.
  18. Yikes, what if it's all set up by CDPR to get some sympathy from fans? It could all be a PR stunt to take peoples minds off of their past blunders. But who knows, this whole thing is an utter mess.
  19. Any source on this? Because there's been no official announcement or rumors about a sequel. The only thing I am aware of, is the story DLC for the game Control that is featuring Alan Wake. I wouldn't qualify that as a sequel though. Though, I am very hopeful a sequel will come.
  20. I almost got my uncle to play a game once, I think it was call of duty. He thought it was cool how real it looked, but he didn't want to try it out.
  21. I like to sleep in the pitch dark, so a tv on usually bugs me. Sometimes it doesn't bug me, but that's when I have already slept for hours and my brain can block it out a bit easier.
  22. Last 2D game I remember played was one of those Castlevania clones, or it may have been by the guy who made the original game. I forget though. I think it was like Blood Stained: Ritual of the night? maybe, idk. I remember it being a decent game. I'd argue that there's much more to art than it just being art though. I mean, art can entertain, educate as well as provide people with insights into ones mind and ideas, as well as our history. I feel like art can be found in just about anything. But, to each their own.
  23. lol, hearing dubstep again is interesting. I remember seeing the trailer for this back then and was super psyched for this, but after looking at reviews and hearing the public opinion on it, I never bothered to check it out. Maybe it's worth checking out now. Figure I could find it pretty cheap somewhere.
  24. To be honest, I think it's kind of even. Considering the popularity of the recent Spider-Man games, and the Arkham series, it seems as if they're equal in many ways. Personally I'm for Batman games, because I'm a Batman fanboy, but I like me some Spider-Man too. I feel like I had more history with Batman games as well. I have played a few Spider-Man games, but none at the level of Arkham or the original NES game yet. Of course I haven't touched the new Spider-Man games, but I'm going to assume they're really good games. 😄
  25. Survival is fine, but I can't get into any where I can't defend myself. I don't like that the only option is to run away and hide and wait for an opening. That's why I could never get into the Outlast series. I prefer a psychological twist, or premise. I just feel it works so much better in a horror game.
