  1. It depends on the game really. If it's about survival, then I can accept it, but sometimes it becomes too much to manage. I don't mind doing it a little bit in most newer games, but I'd rather it just be simplified. I don't want to have to bathe my character every so often, or pee every few hours. I have to deal with that in real life, I don't want to deal with it all the time in my games.
  2. The problems keep coming, and this one is a doozy. According to CDPR themselves, if you have the PC version of the game and exceed 8MB on your save file, it will actually corrupt it as it's not meant to go above 8MB. They say, the reason this is, is because of looting and crafting too much stuff. CDPR said the issue might be fixed, and said the only work around right now, is to play the story only and start over on another save to play the story over again. As that's what you're intended to do. Yeah, they said that. Anyway, read more about this story here - Gamespot
  3. I haven't played GTA online in quite a while. I just got bored of the game in general. I used to be huge into it for a while, but I think grinding so much, just broke me. It's why I also don't bother with RDR online anymore either, because I know it's going to be a chore of a grind to get anything done, and I don't feel like dealing with that to be honest.
  4. I used to enjoy crazy taxi. I kind of wish they still made games in the series, but I don't recall the last time they made a game. Are there any games like Crazy Taxi still out there? I know of Simpsons hit and run, but I want something new. Any suggestions?
  5. According to Xbox themselves, ARK II is now an exclusive for the Xbox Series X and S. I never played the original game, and I probably won't play this one, but it's now an exclusive if that's your thing. You can read more about this news here - Xbox
  6. So, with all the talk on cyberpunk, I was thinking, why not post glitches we all encounter in the game, or from videos we see on the web. I'll start off with a couple glitches I've encountered. I'm attaching an image of the bike that was in the ground. I didn't get footage of me riding it, to which it clipped me under the road. I thought I had a video of a guy walking in the sky, but it looks like it didn't save. So the image below is all I have right now. Will try to take more screenshots soon.
  7. I mean come on, publish it in the US markets, or markets outside of China. If China can't take it, don't release it in China. I hate how companies have to bend to the will of China. I get they make a ton from China, but it's just so damn wrong to treat a studio like this.
  8. I can see a lot of areas in skyrim feeling too big. I haven't played Skyrim in years, but I remember going into something like that, I think it was a catacomb or something. Maybe that's the area you're referring to? idk,it's been so long since I touched skyrim.
  9. It really comes down to the gamers speaking their mind, and letting the industry know that this type of nonsense will not be accepted anymore. We're not going to accept broken games on release as finished products. We're not going to let studios talk down to us and give us meaningless apologies. Lets not forget that this wasn't the devs fault at CDPR, this is on the heads of the company and the publishers. I think it's mostly the publishers who are to blame. They push out these release dates that probably aren't ideal and get stingey when studios have to delay a game. Games take a lot of work to make happen, which is why I think publishers shouldn't force a game to release when it's not ready. That's all, just make sure what consumers are getting, are finished and working products.
  10. Played a couple hours worth of Cyberpunk 2077. Encountered a glitch I thought would cause me some issues. My vehicle spawned under the concrete, and when I went on to drive it, it clipped me under the road. It then ended up saving me at this spot, so reloading put me back in the glitch. I was able to figure a way out by simple jumping up and lifting myself up. But wow did it freak me out. I was worried I'd have to reload from a really old safe. Word of caution, make sure to do some manual saves here and there. You don't know when you're going to get stuck under the world.
  11. The next Elder Scrolls has to be be in a playable state at the very least. Fans are not going to accept another fallout 76 issue. Bethesda needs to work on their games and delay when needed. Don't let studio heads decide when it's done. I just want to see a day where games are no longer rushed to release as soon as possible. Let devs take the time needed to make a game.
  12. In all honesty, I think this might be even better than the folding phones we got. If I am seeing this right, it looks like they could easily protect the screen by putting a protective case over it. The only worry I could see after, is if you get dust inside that portion, but if they build it right, it should be fine. Either way, this sounds good, but how will it perform compared to other devices? At this point, I feel like companies are just trying new gimmicks with the hope of breaking new ground or something.
  13. I had the original fat PS1 as a kid, but always wanted the slim PS1 and the little screen that you could get with it. I always thought it was so cool and always bugged my dad to get me one, but he always said no because we already had the fat PS1 lol. One of these days I'll have to find a used one, but I mainly want the screen to go with it too. Just want it for my collection at this point. How were the screens for the PS One's?
  14. So, I know we've had some depressing news about Cyberpunk 2077 as of late, but I don't think it's going to end anytime soon. With the gaming industry, there's another bad release around the corner most likely. Anyway, what upcoming game do you guys think will release in a broken state? I would say Ubisoft, but I think they learned their lesson after AC: Unity. One of EAs studios will probably end up making something broken, kind of like Anthem again. But who knows. I don't think Anthem was really a broken game, just a boring one. Lets instead bring up Mass Effect Andromeda. I'm worried about the new Mass Effect or the remaster that is supposed to come. But yeah, idk what will be next, but I suspect many broken games to come.
  15. Well, it looks like Google Stadia is now available in app form on the Apple app store. But, does anyone really care at this point? I doubt anyone here is subbed to Stadia. I suppose it's cool, just wish they actually made their service better, but who knows, maybe in the next year, Stadia will be working much better and maybe they'll have more games to show. Anyway, if you're interested in reading more about this bit of news, 9to5google has the story for ya here. Will this push you into getting Stadia?
  16. I was going to start a new topic, but I figure it fits this one a lot more. I wanted to speak a bit more on Sony and them removing Cyberpunk 2077 from their store. Here's what I wrote. With this debacle we're in with Cyberpunk 2077, and Sony literally removing the game from their marketplace, it got me thinking. is it the breaking point now? Gamers have been screwed over a lot over the years with poorly released games. Recent games that come to mind are The Avengers, Anthem and Fallout 76 just to name a few. Fallout 76 was a broken mess at release, and Bethesda became one of the most hated studios because of it. Well, they're starting to regain their fanbase, but it was almost too late there. Anyway, Fallout 76 didn't get pulled from any game store. But thinking about it, maybe it should have been. Maybe if more games that are released in this state, like Fallout 76, or Cyberpunk 2077, we'll see Sony or MS remove them from their marketplace until they're fixed. Because I don't think a company should be able to sell shoddy games like this after it's been found to be broken. I think what Sony did was right, and I think it should be what more companies do when a poorly optimized game is released. These companies need to be shown that this type of nonsense isn't acceptable anymore. If you want to make and release a broken game, rest assured, you'll have to deal with that game eventually being removed until the problems are fixed. I think that's fair. What do you think? Should Sony, Microsoft and other gaming marketplaces, remove games that are in a broken state? I certainly think so, because there needs to be a change in the gaming industry, where we let these devs and publishers know that this is no longer acceptable to release broken games. Poorly made products get recalled all the time, maybe it's time games are included in that too.
  17. yeah, this is the best method. You essentially run up to the enemies, and just hold the fire button. You may have to click another button, but I forget. I wouldn't bother using the torch much, it's really not as helpful as you think, it's far too slow and if there are multiple zombies, it may pose a problem. One thing you can do, is go to the settings and mess with your aiming, try to find the setting so that it locks on to the heads of enemies more easily. This will make it a lot easier to handle the undead, as auto-aim will lock onto their heads, or near their necks for easier shots. As well, utilize dead eye as much as you can, especially when in a bind. Oh, and one other thing, after you take out a hoard of zombies, search them for ammo. It may be an annoying process, but you can gain quite a bit of ammo this way.
  18. That's the thing though, it's tough to make strong material that can bend. Most folding devices like this, are made of plastic, so the screen is plastic as well. Unfortunetly I don't know of any glass that can bend like that, nor do I know of any other glass like material. And metal, I don't think it'd work much either, as that would gradually wear down. I really don't think folding phones or tablets will take off too long. Unless they find a way to make the material less brittle.
  19. Nice! I still just have the original SMB one, for the anniversary of Mario. I want to grab some of the Bowser amiibos, as well as a lot of the popular SMB characters. Mainly Yoshi, Luigi, Bowser, and some of the enemies. I wouldn't mind a Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and a few others.
  20. GTA V on Switch would be dope, and if the truth of a 4K Switch on the horizon, it may be a possibility. Maybe even a re-release of RDR2 at some point. I'd totally welcome that.
  21. True, but they could work out something where gamers are more comfortable. At least in terms of social distancing measures. Each team could be on separate sides, with plaster covering for added protection, and people watching can sit in their cars and watch the big screen. I could totally see it working out. 🙂
  22. I think at this point, it's near or worse than the Fallout 76 and Anthem situations. Those games were never removed from a marketplace. This is going to be a big blow for CDPR, as this means it's not available for the PS5 either. The only way to get it now is to grab the physical version. Anyway, I think this is the right step. This sort of thing needs to happen when games are released in this state, to show that this is no longer acceptable. No longer are we going to allow companies to release broken games, and fix them later. I think Sony is doing this because they don't want people paying for a broken game, especially when CDPR were trying to lie about the state of the game, and were trying to stop people from getting refunds even. So, they were hoping that people would still purchase the PS4 version. They probably should have taken the game down after this mess to begin with. I think this is what is going to break the camel's back, because from here on out, there's going to be a lot more eyes on new releases, especially stuff from EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda and other studios who are sometimes known for releasing glitchy games at release. Because gamers are no longer going to accept it. It sucks though, because I love this game and wish it worked on last gen consoles so everyone can enjoy it.
  23. Yuck, more microtransactions for a game I really see no point for having them. Does Valhalla have multiplayer? I can't see it being a fun MP, but maybe I will be proven wrong. Either way, I feel this is kind of greedy. According to the article below, Ubisoft intended it as a way for gamers to save time. Well, idk, maybe add a feature like that for free? Come on, why is it that in order to move through the game faster, you gotta pay for helix points or whatever? Just feels super greedy to me. Give the option to the gamers for free, and sell us story DLC, that's what gamers want. I don't understand why they can't see that. You can read the article here - Game Informer
  24. With Cyberpunk reminding me some of GTA, it got me thinking, wouldn't it be cool if Rockstar made an RPG like cyberpunk, but in their GTA style of course? I would honestly love to see that happen. The RPG stats in GTA aren't really as comparable to what games like Outer Worlds, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout, Skyrim do. I want quests, and to do missions anyway I want to. GTA could be in a good place to do something like this. Or, they could even put it off to someone from the 2K side to make. But of course, that defeats the purpose of my topic. What do you think?
  25. Wouldn't it be cool to have a drive in esporting event or a tournament? Drive in theaters could be a big commodity today with covid, as we may be stuck in this mess for another year. People could stay inside of their cars as they perform in the tournament. If you lose, you drive into another parking lot to watch the rest of the event. It would work for social distancing and would be safer than an actual event on stage. What do you guys think?
