  1. Look at companies like Activision, Ubisoft, Rockstar, 2K and more. If you can view the pay of the developers, I say look into it. And then look at the CEOs and the people at the top, how much are they making? I am under the impression, that developers who work their asses off to produce a game, should also be paid fairly. And the CEOs of these companies shouldn't be also paid fairly, but not millions and billions of dollars. I think a director of a game, and various other key developers, should be paid more than CEOs and so on. I view it like this, an actor for a big movie is going to be paid a ton more than a studio head probably. But even so, that studio head is probably raking in the money. I'm basically saying this, let the money be a bit more equal throughout the people working there. Maybe not the smaller jobs, but even so, pay your workers well, and don't pay your CEO a shit ton of money and then lay off a bunch of employees, because that's just sick imo. What are your feelings on this? Do CEOs and other leaders deserve tons of money, while they force a dev team to work overtime to complete a game? I just feel, that the money should be better distributed to the whole team. It doesn't have to be equal persey, just be paid for the work put in. This means a CEO shouldn't be making a billion dollars just because he's a CEO. Why can't it be one set pay for each person? Sorry if this is a jumbled mess. I've seen a lot of stories about how publishers abuse the developers like this. While the publishers are making bank, the dev teams aren't making nearly as much.
  2. So Season 3 of Fall Guys has some new stuff incoming. IGN posted an exclusive look at the new level Tundra Run being revealed. Not sure I am jumping back in anytime soon, I pretty much lost interest in the game since its release and I honestly don't think I'll be playing anymore. I feel like it's kind of losing its popularity in recent weeks. What do you guys think? Has Fall Guys kind of falen out of popularity? Especially with games like Among Us and Phasmophobia tearing it up lately.
  3. I'm not sure cloud gaming is our future. Considering that it does take a lot of computing to run a cloud server, it would cost a lot of money to run them. Eventually major studios will have something like this, but smaller, indie studios probably will stick to the traditional way of saving/installing games. That's how I feel anyway.
  4. Yeah, which means there are many options for all kinds of stories. It doesn't even have to do with Peter Parker or Miles Morales. It could be a whole new Spider-man in a whole new universe of characters. That's the beauty to the spider-verse. You could go back to many years worth of comics to find alternate characters and storylines. Same with most comic book universes.
  5. lol, maybe. Could be a possibility. I don't see why not. It's not like Santa is copyrighted by anyone. So you can go to town and do whatever you want with the Santa character. So the ideas are endless if you think about it. Just look at the various tv shows and movies with people playing Santa. No one seems to care. I think a Santa open world game, that plays like GTA would be awesome. Not a mod in itself, but an actual game, where you play as Santa. Idk. I just feel like it'd be fun to have a game people can revisit every Christmas season. I don't think there's a good game like that out there. At least not yet.
  6. Dis be Blues Clues lol 😄 But yeah, I don't really see stuff like Animal Crossing or Blues Clues causing anyone to go out and harm people, but I've heard dumber things before.
  7. Well I'm sure glad I got the PC version then, because I had the XB1 version pre-ordered for the longest time. I think this will be sorted soon, it has to be. Gamers are no longer accepting of apologies, they want fixes, and they want them to be delivered fast. When we pay $50-$60 for these games, no one should be having game breaking problems. I think with this problem, they would probably want to downgrade the graphics, and some other settings. I've encountered some annoying glitches on PC though, like points where you can't run, or you're forced to aim down your sights, and I've seen people walking in mid air, cars and other stuff floating in mid air as well.
  8. The Game Awards 2020 hit again with another reveal, this time a trailer for what looks like a future Mass Effect title, and not the remastered version we've been hearing about. Near the end of the new trailer, it states "Mass Effect Will Continue". What do you think the title of the new game will be? Or do you think it'll be simply titled Mass Effect? Check the trailer out below, and let us know what you think a sequel might be like.
  9. Check out the reveal trailer below for the upcoming Crimson Desert game. What do you think? Reminds me a lot of Assassin's Creed and the Elder Scrolls series, but I'm hoping the lag I saw in the trailer isn't in the final product. Idk if anyone else noticed, but to me, I noticed it looked really laggy during battle portions. Though, it does state it's a work in progress, so I hope they have that ironed out before release.
  10. I wonder what this game is going to be like. I suspect a scary spooky time, plus some fighting against corrupt people. Should be a fun time. Game is developed by Striking Distance Studios. I can't say I've ever heard of them, but a google search shows they do motion capture work, so I suppose video games are on their plate now. Check the trailer, what do you think?
  11. Perfect Dark was announced at yesterday's Game Awards 2020, and I'm pretty psyched for this one. Do you think The Initiative can make a quality Perfect Dark game? Or will they produce something as bland as the reboot back in 2005 or 2006? Anyway, check the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
  12. Back 4 Blood is an upcoming 4 player co-op zombie survival game, similar to Left 4 Dead. And you may be wondering, why such a similar title? Well I hear that some of the devs behind Left 4 Dead, are behind this game. Game looks very similar to L4D, even shows a big tank like figure that spits on people and blows up similarly to the boomer from L4D. Check out the trailer 👇 And some gameplay 👇 Is this one a buy for you?
  13. Just any games really. I mainly want a place where I can find details on many games and their leagues. Does that make sense? Like, there's got to be a site where there are updates about esports leagues/events/tournaments etc, and the games that are popular among those leagues. A site that has all of those details and stats in one place. Maybe even a place for user profiles from the pros with their stats in the games they play. Kind of like an overall esports guide.
  14. I think people are confusing the topic at hand. If schools ever integrated video games in schooling, it's not like they're going to allow them to play Cyberpunk 2077 for example. It would be a boring addition to schooling, as they will always find a way to make it boring. It'll be interactive learning, simple as that. Some classes may be themed, and may result in their own special games for schooling/training. If video games are adding to education, it's not going to be for the pleasure of the students, it's going to be used as an aide in learning. That's how I see it. Sure, some classes may be about history, and playing a game like COD could teach you that, but, they would probably playing something like a RTS, or a game that teaches you about the history instead of letting you play it.
  15. I'm really liking how Cyberpunk 2077 does open world. It's not too big, not too small, has a ton of fast travel options to boot. No need to collect fast travel spots. At least not yet. I feel open world should be like what CP2077 is. Or maybe it's just that I've had a long enough break from open world games as of late.
  16. I forgot to mention Mortal Kombat as well. I also remember playing games like Maniac Mansion (NES) & Sweet Home (NES) at a friends house one summer. I remember freaking out when playing Sweet Home especially. It was genuinely scary at times. Though, not nearly as violent as today's stuff, in Maniac Mansion, I think you can microwave a rat.
  17. WB would never be able to touch it considering their pretty much DC. I think they might actually own DC. Yeah, alternate universes are a great option to expand on things, and open doors to new stories for sure.
  18. I don't think this has been asked, but are there any sites to go to for finding stats on esporting events/tournaments, and other esporting stats? I'm curious to see if there are places I can go to see a list of the top teams, players, and their key stats. Anything like that exist yet?
  19. The PS5 is selling a lot more than the Xbox Series X and S. Though, MS is doing fairly well in terms of sales, it seems some are worried it may spell bad news for MS. I highly doubt that, as they are still selling consoles, and will likely continue onto the new year, especially when these dumb scalpers get out of the game.
  20. Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales were hits on the PS4 and PS5 so far. But, what direction do you see the series going next? A sequel to the Peter Parker game? Or another for Miles? Or maybe they can make a Spider-Verse game as well. Would make sense with the spider-verse being a possibility in movie form soon. So why not a video game spider-verse? I'd welcome that for sure.
  21. According to this article here - AB Gaming Recent job listings may point to the upcoming Bioshock 4 possibly being RPG themed. So this could mean that it'll an RPG outright. But wasn't the original Bioshock games FPS's with RPG elements anyway? Maybe they're just pushing more of an RPG element this time around. Would you welcome BioShock 4 as an RPG?
  22. idk, Crystal Dynamics was involved in development, and they are responsible for the recent Tomb Raider series for the most part, so they're not a bad team of devs by any means. Just means they were given a crap project from the beginning, and had to do their best to make it work. I blame this mostly on Square Enix, because I bet they were the reason this game is in the shape it is. Let these games have more time in the kitchen, because in this case, it was certainly needed.
  23. To some extent I do. But I don't take games as serious as most other forms of media. I do feel guilt for killing an innocent person in game, but a bad person, not so much. When I see kids playing M rated games, like GTA V for example, it does weird me out seeing kids killing npcs like I did as a kid.
  24. Cyberpunk 2077. Thanks to a friend for gifting it to me recently, I was able to game out to it last night. I am having a blast so far, but it's crazy tough on hard for me. Then again, maybe I just suck at video games lol. I can't wait to get back to it. Going to try to stream it too maybe.
  25. This topic is not to be confused with the topic of the same title here - The Game Awards 2020: The Last of Us Part II and Naughty Dog the big Winners - Which is about the Golden Joystick Awards 2020. This topic is about The Game Awards 2020 hosted by Geoff Keighley. It's live in 4 hours from now and I can't wait to see if there are any reveals planned. I don't care much about the award segments, just new games please. 😄 Watch the live stream below: And check their site out here - https://thegameawards.com/
