  1. So it seems that down the road, we may see a streaming stick for xCloud that will allow you to play xCloud compatible games on your TV, without the need for a console. That would be a game changer if they could make it work smoothly. It seems to work on mobile currently. But I don't think it'll work 100% most of the time. I have a feeling it's going to lag a lot, especially on a small streaming stick. What do you guys think though? You can read about this at the article here - The Verge
  2. Daily Videogame put up a list of Xbox One digital titles that are going for as much as 75% off on Amazon right now. Some games are 75% off, 50% off, and some for less %. For example, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege: Year 5 Deluxe Edition - Xbox One [Digital Code] is currently just $10 A Way Out is just $7.49 The Crew 2 is just $12.49 See more deals at the link above.
  3. This is going to get some Xbox fans upset. It looks like Sony has a year long exclusive deal for the new Zombies Onslaught Mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War on both the PlayStation 4 and 5. This means that Xbox and PC gamers will not be able to enjoy this mode until a year after. I am not a fan of these yearly exclusives, especially if it's a game mode like this. Within a years time, the new COD will be out or close to releasing and Xbox and PC gamers will just be getting this. But, that's to be expected. The generation before it, Xbox got the upper hand with deals like this. Now Sony is returning the favor, two gens later now. Read about this story here - Tech Raptor
  4. PC if you can, but generally the remastered version on the PS4 or Xbox One will do just fine as well. I want to get the PC version myself, but I believe I got it recently on my Xbox One, so I may as well download it soon and give it a go again.
  5. I think more sites like Amazon and Ebay are starting to support/accept cryptocurrency options. Sure there may be some bad apples using it, but it doesn't mean that everyone using it, are using it for nefarious reasons. I haven't used cryptocurrency yet myself, but I am interested in trying it out. I wouldn't mind having a secondary option for money. The american dollar is already down so much as it is, imagine if the dollar falls even more. Cryptocurrency could be used as a backup. That's how I see it anyway.
  6. I thought there would have been more games on mobile from Nintendo. Like a release of classic NES, SNES games. I would pay to play some on mobile if the controls work good. But I don't think they ever plan to release classic games to mobile. I mean, it would cut into the emulator scene as well, so that would be a plus for Nintendo, as they make money again on those games. These days, you can easily emulate retro games on mobile, it would be easy for them to implement I imagine.
  7. Yeah most likely. But I swear I heard a rumor about him speaking with Konami, or that he was going to be involved with silent hill in some way. I can't seem to find it anywhere online, so maybe I misheard or saw a fake article or something. 😞 Would be dope if he was involved with a Silent Hill game. Would restore my faith in Konami somewhat.
  8. If we go by this year, I think Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered is my favorite game played this year. But I've played a bit of Genshin Impact and I'm having fun playing it. Other than that, I haven't played much of what was released in 2020. But I always get into RDR2 and Modern Warfare. There was a few other games as well, but those were the main ones.
  9. Anyone here remember Def Jam Vendetta? It came out for the PS2 and Gamecube back in 2003. I remember the game fondly as it was actually a competent wrestling/fighting game. I really enjoyed it. Essentially, Def Jam Vendetta is a wrestling game that stars various Hip Hop artists from the Def Jam Label. It has a storyline you have to follow, but If I remember correctly, you could also create a custom character to go up against these stars.
  10. This is an issue my mom has been having with facebook for the past week now. She loves her 8 Ball Pool, but for some reason whenever she tries to get on to it, it tells her she has her permissions set off or to no. Ok, so I check the app settings, go into the game settings, and everything is set to on as intended. So, not sure what the issue is. I tried clearing cache, turning the phone off and back on, and even tried to force stop the app and nothing has worked. You can't even uninstall Facebook or the messenger app anymore. I sent an email to Facebook about it, but I suspect they won't even respond anytime soon. Do you guys know any tips on how to sort this out? It just seems to be with Facebook games, Facebook or the Messenger app.
  11. I've been playing some Battlefield 2 lately. I have a dual monitor setup, but for some reason, when I'm in game, I can't move over to the second screen unless I tab. And when I do either, it minimizes the game on me. Is there any way I can move from one monitor to the other without having to minimize the game? Do you guys know of a workaround for this? I use discord a lot, and want to be able to move back and forth without issue. But, I suspect with an older game like this, it may pose a problem.
  12. Article source - DSO Gaming It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 has been cracked. Which means we might be able to take advantage of different types of mods and fun stuff. The cool thing about this, is that the people who cracked it, had to go through a lot to get it done. First off, they had to deal with the many DRM and social club, as that in itself was like another DRM. I would try it out myself, but I don't have the PC version yet and I don't know if I really want to risk getting banned if I tried this myself.
  13. I didn't know about this when the console was announced, but it looks like the PS5 will have the option for using custom faceplates. As well, it looks like a third party company has already produced and released custom faceplates. Would you buy any custom faceplates for your PS5? The faceplates are currently going for $39.99. Read more on this here - PlayStation Lifestyle And you can actually buy from this site here - PlateStation5
  14. Serious Sam has a cult following so I doubt it will go away. If anything, this might mean more remasters and possibly a new game in the series. As for microtransactions, I can't see a Serious Sam game having them, but who knows. Are Devolver Digital known for putting microtransactions in their games?
  15. Yeah, that's Rockstar for ya. I know their intent is to focus on the online mode. But I do dream of finally getting another taste of the Undead nightmare. Oh well. I think I might just replay the undead nightmare for Halloween at his point. Should be fun!
  16. The Last of Us 1 comes to mind right away, but to dig deeper in my brain, I think GTA IV had a decent opening, as well as San Andreas. GTA V even had a great opening. Another game that I can think of, would probably be Alan Wake. Oh and Skyrim has that epic opening that everyone remembers. Who could get more iconic than that one?
  17. I can see that for tower defense games. I normally don't get into them, but the times I have played them I thought it was relaxing. Or maybe it was because the game I was playing was too easy lol. The name rings a bell, but I'm drawing a blank. But after a google search, I realize it's that game with the extreme car physics where you can crash them in realistic fashion. That's smart. A game you know you're not going to have issues playing, so in turn it's relaxing. I have that with a lot of games myself, like Smackdown Here comes the pain, GTA (most games), and a few others.
  18. Oh for sure, this controller will eventually be sought after like any oddity in the gaming world. Just wish it wasn't so ugly lol. Now wait and see, Burgerking, McDonalds and others might even jump onto the bandwagon. 😄
  19. Does anyone here remember the NES game Gyromite? It came with the R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) that was only used towards two games, the previously mentioned Gyromite and a game called Stack-Up. Nothing else utilized this robot toy for the NES. But this is not about the R.O.B., it's about the game Gyromite. I actually have this game and remember playing it when I was a kid. I unfortunately did not have the ROB toy to use, but I figured out that you could use a second controller to open doors and do all the stuff ROB did. It was a lot harder to play this way, but I remember getting through some levels. I thought it was a blast though, and looking through images has brought that nostalgia back for me. I remember you couldn't jump or fall from a big height if I remember correctly. Idk, it's been probably 20 years since I last played it.
  20. What could Kojima and crew be working on currently? Could it be a Metal Gear Solid Project? There was rumors a while ago that he was in talks with Konami to work on a MGS game again, but nothing has come of that from what I hear. As well, it could be a Silent Hill game. That'd be cool. Maybe Kojima is working on a new IP for his studio. I could see that. Read about this bit of news here - Twinfinite
  21. This article here states that the new Atari VCS will launch alongside the PS5 this November (next month) but doesn't state the official release date. If this is true, I really think this is a poor decision on their part. Considering the Xbox Series X/S and the PS5 are coming out within days of each other, why would you want to toss in another console at the same time? Atari probably would do a lot better if they tried to sell this later, possibly in 2021. Possibly around the time of the Switch release, but even so, I don't think Atari can compete with any of these consoles. What do you think?
  22. New Xbox controllers are being released in preparation for the upcoming Xbox Series X/S releases. These controllers will work on current gen Xbox One consoles as well, so that's pretty cool. I saw some going for $60, which is cheap considering that controllers at the moment seem to be running up to $70-$80 at some sites. Anyway, I guess Xbox and KFC have teamed up in the UK for a contest where you can win this controller. In order to win, you have to go to a local KFC in the UK to enter this giveaway. Here's an image of the controller: Yeah, it's quite ugly I'd say lol. But I am surprised this isn't happening here in the US at local KFCs. I can see people trying to win this lol. If this was for sale, would you buy it? Read more about it at this article here - Half-Glass Gaming

  24. Oh I know that. Fortnite is big when it comes to customization, and oftentimes to get the good stuff, you gotta pay. It's the same for gun skins in games. I just wish we were back to the day where you could open new clothing items in game instead of having to spend cash for them. 😞
  25. Idk if that really compares. If someone disses my girlfriend I imagine I'd be pretty annoyed, but if it was a console or a game I enjoyed, it wouldn't bother me. Some people have dumb takes and say dumb things, but for the most part, it doesn't bother me at all. And I don't think fanboys can really cause game reviews to go lower. I suppose you can say that about people who review bomb games though, but I think we've come to a point where people don't really bother with sites like metacritic. The thing with Assassin's Creed, is that it did the same things up until a certain point, now they're re-inventing the formula and some fans aren't happy. You can't please everyone and the direction Ubisoft is going with their franchise isn't going to go back to its original formula. Fanboys just want to argue. That's how I see them personally, and usually you get those types for each console brand and it's just a 3 way battle where no one wins. Eventually they get tired of the argument and move on. I can understand that. Microsoft gets a lot of hate, and rightfully so, MS doesn't have the greatest track record as a company. But, for me it is a brand I enjoy using and don't have much problems with them for the most part. But I also enjoy PlayStation and Nintendo. Hell, I'd even toss in Google if I could take advantage of Stadia. Fanboys just want to hear themselves praise their company. Maybe they have hopes those companies will hear them and reach out thanking them or something. But the amount of arguing a fanboy does, it's just a waste of time imo.
