  1. I think that would be cool, but why just a racing game? I'm sure there are games that have raceable cars, where you can do a lot more in the world you're in. Like GTA V for example. You can get a ton of car options in there, and you can also live in that world, experience it. And you'd have all the fun cars you want and then some. Maybe they won't control the same, but I could see it being fun. Yeah, but living in that world would probably be chaotic. It would be cool for a while, but the idea that you can't leave your vehicle would probably get boring after awhile. Unless you are able to leave the vehicles, because otherwise I'd think that'd be more hell than fun. 😄
  2. I wish more games included fast-forward/rewind. I know there are a good amount of games with time mechanics like that, but I kinda wish more games included the rewind option, even big triple A titles. I just like the idea or rewinding back to fix an issue or mistake I made. I doubt most games would add a rewind button, but I think it'd be cool to have as a cheat device or something. Kinda like how the Switch allows you to rewind retro games. I'd be all for that with modern games as well, if done right of course.
  3. I wish I could get invested in it myself. I have friends who like DnD and I know they'd teach me, I just don't like the pressure that comes with it. Same with any type of strategy game out there, if it involves a lot of people, I'm going to have a tough time with it. I can't compete with others when it comes to most of these games. I'm a slow learner and also slow at play, so I would only cause others annoyances if I played lol.
  4. They made everyone sign a waiver before they did it, so she likely has no recourse. But, they may still be able to get neglect for not properly protecting the pit. Considering the pit is only a foot deep and the floor was concrete, they should have included mats under the foam blocks to better protect their guests. I'm sure Twitch has more than enough money to add better protection, which is odd to me that they didn't.

    Xbox Museum

I think it might have something to do with PubG, but I'm not 100% sure. The helmet looks similar to the Pubg helmet in some of the promos. Not quite sure why as I don't think PubG is affiliated with MS or Xbox aside from it being playable on Xbox. Worked perfectly fine for me. I used WASD to move around in combination with the mouse. I didn't notice any issues with moving around or accessing the site either. Maybe it's something to do with your hardware? I imagine older PCs may have some trouble with this, as it's kinda like you're controlling a game.
  6. I don't play too much horror games myself, but during the Halloween season, I do like to play games like Red Dead Redemption: The Undead Nightmare (which I may stream to a friends discord), and maybe some Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. I may even spin up Alan Wake remastered on PC and play the DLC I forgot to play the last time. Other than that, I don't play too much of the horror genre, so I can't really say what else I would play.
  7. I'm just hoping they don't botch this like they did with Cyberpunk 2077. Fans will be looking at them with a fine tooth comb just to make sure they're not releasing stuff half finisheshed. Cyberpunk 2077 was a let down for many, not because it was a bad game or anything like that, but it was because they promised us so much, and what we got wasn't what was expected. But, with more studios working on their games, maybe we won't see this happen again, at least I really hope not.
  8. It's what's keeping Xbox alive and likely selling more than Playstation as of late. The gamepass service is one of the best bang for your buck. I haven't purchased a new game in years now. Not only $2.9, but that's just their Gamepass portion, they reportedly still had $16.28 billion in total for that year. It's crazy to see those number.
  9. Yeah I heard a streamer broke her back on that gladiator pit thing. You can see that below. Wonder if she has a potential lawsuit for this. Because I imagine they expect the pit to support them, and it seems as if they didn't include enough space for the padding. Now this young woman needs a meter rod in her back.
  10. Overwatch 2 isn't going to be the only game to now require a phone number in order to activate. Modern Warfare 2 is rumored to also be making this a requirement in order to play, and pre-paid phones will not work either. So you need a legit smartphone in order to sign up. I don't understand such rules, I don't have service on my phone, so I won't be able to play it. If that's the case, I just won't ever play this game lol. Oh well. Not like we're missing out with these recent COD titles. Read more about this here - https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/modern-warfare-2-will-seemingly-require-a-phone-number-like-overwatch-2/
  11. Source: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/88846/microsoft-reveals-how-much-money-game-pass-actually-makes/index.html?utm_source=dlvr.it Microsoft recently revealed how much Gamepass has made them for the year of 2021, and it's a pretty big price tag. They made $2.9 billion from gamepass on consoles in 2021. But Xbox gaming made a total of $16.28 billion for the year of 2021. Looks like Gamepass is paying off for them right now.

    Xbox In Japan

The problem, is that Microsoft has tried to get Xbox in all major markets, but Japan is one I don't see them getting into. They've been trying to make Xbox popular in Japan since the original Xbox, they sadly never sell well enough. I'm sure they have, but I doubt it'll work. If they haven't been able to get a foothold in Japan since the original Xbox, what makes you think they will do good in Japan anytime soon? The Japanese people don't care about Xbox, it's just a fact and there's not much that will change that.
  13. I actually posted a topic about this a week back or so. I don't think it's right to give priority support to people who pay for an extra program/service. I think it in turn causes a rift in customer support, because you could have a very valid problem with something, and be stuck behind someone who is contacting about something dumb, but because they pay more, their support get prioritized. It doesn't seem right to me.
  14. Right now we don't know what they have planned. So far they have said they will continue to release games like Call of Duty, Elder Scrolls, Fallout etc on PlayStation/Nintendo. But that could always change. I know Sony has exclusivity deals with Call of Duty, that they get the new maps/content first. And I believe those deals are still active. Which means MS has to play exclusive to Sony in a way.
  15. Congratulations to VGR for the milestone. Closing in on 20,000 members. Doing anything special when we hit that mark? 🙂 Anyway, here's to many more years of this great community!
  16. Well I can't say for PS3 & PS4, since I don't own either console. I only played a few games on PS3, so can't judge that either. But I did own a PS1 and PS2 growing up, so a lot of my favorites go from Crash Bandicoot, WWF Smackdown series, Gran Turismo, Spyro for PS1 and for PS2; Metal Gear Solid 3, Smackdown Here comes the pain, Def Jam Fight for NY, God of War, and a bunch of other games I'm sure I'm forgetting.
  17. What new things can you really do in the simulator genre? We got pretty much everything there is. We just got Powerwash sim, and a lawn mowing sim. I liked powerwash sim though, it was relaxing lol. Aside from that, I think we're going to keep getting them, because it seems people enjoy them. I only enjoy the ones that are easy to follow and don't require me to pretty much simulate a real job as real as possible.
  18. Yeah you can add mods to the PC version of GTA IV. It's been updated a lot over the years via mods. I still think the base game alone holds up today. It may not look as good graphically by today's standards, but it gets the job done fine enough I think.
  19. Another one that just came to mind, is Sunset Overdrive. I think it'd be fun if I knew how to blade like these guys do lol. I don't have the skills in real life to do it, so maybe in game life I could. 😄
  20. Still rocking out with RDR2 as of late. Been trying to finish all the camp upgrades. I only have to upgrade Arthurs last bit. I need to perfect cougar pelts and it's proving to be easier said than done. I found and area that spawns one out every so often, but I can't for the life of me get a clean kill, or the bastard knocks me off my horse before I can get a good enough shot. I wish they spawned more often, I'm so close to finishing these upgrades.
  21. I think it also depends on the price. Because if I'm paying $60, sometimes now $70 for a brand new game, I would like to have a game that lasts me a while. As long as it's not super short. I don't mind a short 6-8 hour game, but idk if it's worth $60+ if there's nothing else to do.

    Xbox Museum

Yeah that is pretty cool. I'm really liking the presentation with it so far. Kinda takes a while to load for me, but I guess that is intended for what it is. Still though, I think it would be even cooler if they made a real museum you could go to in person. I'd be really into that.
  23. Yeah DnD counts, technically it's a tabletop game, so it counts. As well, it has other video games out there if I'm not mistaken, so it's not just the tabletop style I believe. I believe they have a dungeon crawler game as well. tabletop can also mean boardgames, so essentially your favorite board games. I know Tabletop Simulator on Steam for example, has mods for popular board games and many other strategy, puzzle, etc. They even have Among Us style board games.
  24. I played the demo for the second game I think, or it may have been a version of the first game. I forget. But I remember it being quite fun for what I got to play. I wouldn't mind picking up each game and giving them a playthrough. But didn't Bayonetta 2 come out for the Wii U only? I don't know if I want to get a Wii U, I hear they're pretty expensive these days.
  25. Yeah I agree. Or games that haven't aged well in terms of controls and graphics. The original FF7 hasn't aged super well, but I still have a fondness for the graphics. I played a quarter of the way through the game, and I remember liking the graphics. I have yet to play the remake. I hear they're making multiple parts now. Why so many parts?
