  1. Do you recall any developers or names associated with the game? Any modes that you can recall? I didn't play many mobile games on phone back in 2013, but some more hints about what you know might help.
  2. I'm part of a community where we game together from time to time. It's just us hanging out in a Discord voice chat, maybe gaming, but sometimes we watch movies and hang out. I'm so glad I've done it, because it's fun to watch movies and chat with friends. I don't frequently play online games myself, but when I do I try to find my friends on Discord instead and play with them. I don't usually play with people I don't know. Not these days at least.
  3. I remember when talk started up about a possible Hitman movie, as I grew up a huge fan of the series since Hitman 2. But the first movie came and I realized that Hitman doesn't work in movie form. Especially more so when they released the second Hitman movie, Agent 47, which was a joke of a movie. I normally don't quit movies, but this movie I quit about 20-30 minutes in because of how boring it was. The person they had play Hitman in the second movie wasn't convincing enough. The first movie he kinda was, but it wasn't the same. Anyway, I think the big reason as to why is because Hitman is a Silent Assassin for a reason. He's one of the best hitmen around. So good that he is never witnessed taking out his hits. If you ever played Blood Money for example, in it Hitman is said to be someone no one notices, a chameleon. Someone who you won't see coming. And that doesn't translate so well to the movies, because I doubt people would watch a bald dude silently taking out hits. So of course Hollywood has to make these movies action packed with the intention of putting Hitman out in plain site. Doing all of these big explosions and set pieces is not Hitman. The whole point is that he's a silent assassin. He doesn't make noise, doesn't kill non-targets etc. What did you guys think of the Hitman movies? The first one was the better of the two. But that's not saying much when both movies were pretty bad imo. I've always said I'd like to see another Hitman movie, but I think maybe let Hitman stay as a video game, because I don't think Hollywood can do the series justice by making a good movie.
  4. I feel it's a bit too soon to say, since we're only 2 years into this decade and if anything I feel like it's one of the worst starts to a generation yet. With how tough it is to still get a PS5, and series X, plus with how some games come out broken messes, or loot boxes/microtransactions. I feel like gaming is more accessible, and more mainstream than ever though, and I am happy that there are still a lot coming out. But I worry that this decade is going to focus on NFTs in gaming, and more ways for people to spend money in game. I think 2010 was the last time gaming was at its best, just free from the problems we have today with loot boxes and so on. But, anything can happen from now until 2029. Maybe it has potential to be the best decade. But I don't see that being the case right now.
  5. Honestly, the games from the Atari consoles, at least the earlier consoles haven't aged that well. Some still play fine and work as intended, but there are games on the consoles that haven't aged well based on graphics (that's probably true for most) and gameplay. I can't say what games are good or bad, as I rarely played atari games growing up. I was on NES and newer consoles growing up. I'm interested to hear what actual fans of Atari games have to say though. Because personally I have no interest in playing most Atari games these days. And the ones I did play were either the arcade versions, so I never had a full experience with Atari consoles.
  6. What was everyone's favorite reveal/trailer? I'm really looking forward to the new Kojima game on Xbox, curious to see what that game is going to be. I hope it's really scary looking too. Other than that, nothing really interested me. Maybe Tekken 8, but I don't care a whole lot for fighting games. Yeah I figured there wouldn't be anything about a new Silent Hill or a remake. I don't think Konami is going to make a new game in the series anytime soon. But, hopefully I'm wrong.
  7. They're just too lazy to figure out a way to make it work. They probably think it's a waste of their time to support the past games in the process. I can't imagine it'd be hard. So many VR games on PC seem to be compatible with various headsets, so it just sounds dumb that they can't figure out a solution. I can't imagine it's much different in terms of how the games control.
  8. Yeah if the prices aren't too much higher, I think this would sell like hot cake. And to think, I could see some people selling their original models to get some money to go for the new model. Even if it was $100 or $200 extra, I think they'd still be worth it.
  9. I can see that. Personally I've dealt with 5 rrod issues when I had my 360. It was very annoying when it happened. But I will give MS that they were awesome in giving me a free repair each time. And yeah, $25 for a poster is a bit too pricey. It better be printed on some damn good paper. Ewww no NFTs. I don't think people care for NFTs all that much, and I doubt they would for this.
  10. I have some interest in it, but I'm not too hyped for it. I will get it, no doubt about it, but I don't know if I'll get it day one. My brother might, but I can wait a little longer to get it. At this point every company has their own launcher. Even through steam, you have to launch RDR2 through the Rockstar Launcher. It's annoying having all of these launchers out there.
  11. It's going to result in failure. I don't see anyone being interested enough to purchase any NFT from Atari of all companies. People have mostly forgotten what Atari is, and with the people now behind the name, they aren't even the same people. It's just another attempt to cash in on the Atari name, but soon enough they will have to realize that there isn't any worth in the Atari name anymore, not after how much shit the name has been run through.
  12. Just wait, this will result in more companies like Gamestop to start their own NFTs. I really can see more stores and companies jumping onto the bandwagon. NFTs should have failed already, I don't get how they haven't yet.
  13. When it comes to creative mode, you don't need to mine, you will be able to use a menu that has every item/block/etc that you can then use to build whatever you want. Essentially creative mode is like unloading a box of legos onto the floor and building a little city. But with creative mode, you don't have a limit to the items you have. So you can keep building and building. As for other modes, like Survival mode, the intent is to mine to build a house to survive the night, then to continue building/mining and growing your little world into something, anything you can muster up. There are also hidden mines and bosses you can battle. You can upgrade armor, weapons and more. As well, you can grow gardens, trees, raise animals, etc. If you can't get into it, that's fair. It's not for everyone. You can also play peaceful mode, which will still let you mine like in survival, but you don't have to worry about enemies.
  14. He's part of the reason I stopped watching wrestling for quite a while. I remember when he was pretty much Super Cena, as all he would do is win everything. It got repetitive and annoying seeing him win in every feud. Still bugs me that he's a 16 time champion matching Ric Flair. But he's grown on me over the years since he peaced out, and is doing tv and games. I hope he does more of this honestly.
  15. I honestly haven't played it. Got Gamepass a few days before it and haven't played it yet and my gamepass is about to run out in the next few days haha. I'm glad to hear it's good. I'm going to get gamepass again soon so I can play it. Just haven't been in the mood to play.
  16. They already have a library sharing option. But it requires the person to sign in on your PC in order to do the game sharing option. I haven't done it, but I am considering it for my nephew as I know he'll play a lot of the games I own. The only issue with it, is that when they're playing a game, you're unable to play the same game. But I don't have much of a problem with that.
  17. I'm sure they could, they certainly have the money to support a restaurant, maybe even a few of them around the world. But I don't think they'd want to do it. Would be really cool, but I don't think they'd do it.
  18. Plus I'm hearing that Take Two has been removing any videos with the leak footage, and I guess there's a ton of clips out there now. I was able to find this video, but my guess is Take Two will remove it as well. Not 100% sure if it's legit, but it looks like they have the robbery mechanic that RDR2 has where you can stick up people while doing a robbery (similar to train robberies).
  19. I had a feeling there was something more to it. I also don't see Ubisoft promoting gambling, but if they have lootboxes as a feature in game, then I'd consider that gambling. That's how I would see it anyway. But if there is in fact no gambling (lootboxes and other such things), than yeah they should get an M rating. These days I feel like AO rating isn't as much of a death sentence. Yeah maybe in stores where you buy the game physically, but I imagine many will also purchase the game through a shop/marketplace. I imagine most people wouldn't care much about the Adult rating. It's not like kids will be able to buy it anyway. I feel like with the AO rating, it's more in line with excessive sexual content. Because if games like Call of Duty World At War can get an M rating and depict soldiers blowing up, losing limbs and such, I'm sure sniper elite would have gotten away with more gore if they so desired. If I remember correctly, the only games to get AO ratings were games with excessive violence and gore and excessive nudity or sexual acts. Man Hunt was rated M for mature. San Andreas didn't get an adult rating until the hot coffee mod was discovered. So I think it really comes down to excessive amounts of it. Or more sexual content, as that seems to be the one getting the AO rating the most.
  20. I agree to some extent. I think Goldeneye has aged fairly poorly in terms of graphics though. I think for this remaster, they just updated the visuals/locations and character models. But I think that was it. They may have changed the shooting mechanics, but I don't know, as the Perfect Dark HD remaster didn't change the shooting mechanics. So maybe it won't be the same. Graphics for PS1/N64 haven't aged well. A lot of the early 3D games look horrible today. It sometimes bothers me to play retro games on these consoles, because a lot of them have aged so poorly that I honestly get eye strain for playing too long. I'm surprised I was able to survive these games back when I was a kid lol.
  21. I'd have to say GTA. With each iteration the series has gradually gotten better. From GTA III on to GTA V. You can also count the top down games as well. I'd also say the Super Mario Bros series. For the most part the series stays kinda the same, but they do innovate and change the formula up a bit.
  22. Probably. I know there was a few videos on it when it happened, resulting in the guy who did the reviews to be fired by IGN. He also ran his own gaming channel, which failed miserably. I wish I had some rare games still in the box in my collection. I have In the Hunt on the PS1 which I heard last goes for like $400 used. I don't think I have anything else that's too rare. But as video game collecting becomes more popular, I think some of my current collection will go up in price.
  23. Kojima teased this: https://novicegamerguides.com/news/hideo-kojimas-next-game-teased-by-kojima-productions/ Doesn't tell us much of anything, but I'm guessing it'll have a custom character creator. That's my guess anyway. Or it could be someone with amnesia, and you have to figure out who they are and where they came from. But according to the article it could be the main character of his upcoming horror game starring actress Margaret Qualley. I'm excited to find out more. Oh, and can't not include this: RE Village Gold Edition and Resident Evil 4 trailers.
  24. For sure, if I had the money to get one of them, I probably would. But right now I'm using a previously $80 controller from PowerA that I use on PC, their pro controller. It's a great controller that I think has gone down in price in recent memory. I'm surprised it hasn't started to go bad on me, most of my Xbox controllers break down on me within a year or two. I have two of these pro controllers, one I use on my Xbone and another for my PC. It's called the PowerA Fusion. They also sell other controllers now for Xbox, Playstation and the Switch as well.
  25. Quick update, looks like Xbox is joining in on the show. A live stream is happening in 9 hours. You can check it out below. I wonder if Kojima is going to reveal what he has in store for Xbox with the game he's making them.
