  1. I might not be getting this game now. A review from GmanLives goes in depth about many issues the game has. Supposedly it's a bugged mess, the characters are boring, npcs and enemies don't know what the hell they're doing and so on. I guess it takes a lot from past games in the series, but doesn't do them well. Here's the review: https://youtu.be/U0XjOhCLssc
  2. The purpose of the open playtest is that EA and the devs want gamers to test the game essentially and give their suggestions, bugs, etc. And I have no clue. EA has to know how people feel about them. I know they addressed it one time, and asked if they are really that bad. So idk, maybe they don't see themselves as being bad, even with the constant complaints from gamers. And many people want to slap EA in the face lol. I'm right there with ya.
  3. To me, it just doesn't feel like Saints Row. I know the original games got pretty campy and unrealistic at times, but it still kinda made you feel like you were a part of a gang. This reminds me a lot of Watch Dogs 2 for some reason. Maybe it's the colorful clothing everyone is wearing, and how no one sounds like they are part of a gang at all. They all sound and look prepish lol. Idk, it's just weird to me.
  4. It would be nice, because I've never played revolver before. I think a remake would be better, as the controls might be dated, so not sure how a remaster would work. They also did the Midnight Club racing games. Those could be cool to remaster or finally get a sequel. I know they remastered L.A. Noire as well. My guess if they remaster anything next, it'll either be GTA IV, or red dead redemption. But I would still love to try a remake of Revolver.
  5. Of course, but I'm sure there are enough exclusives to make it a reality. How many games do most classic consoles hold? I don't remember what the PS1 classic had, but I'm sure if they included the same amount of games it would still sell decently. But the big issue would be licencing all of these games years later. Probably the reason that not every PS2 game is available digitally for the PS4 and 5.
  6. Yeah there's a lot of that going on. Especially with the recent release of Spiderman on PC. People modded kingpin, Stan Lee and even uncle Ben's grave of all things.
  7. The new WWE 2K games don't even come close to here comes the pain and some of the other games to follow. It's like night and day compared to hctp. Hctp has some of the best game modes, gameplay and more. I'm pretty sure they have GM mode that has more options than 2k22 does. If you've never played it, I highly recommend it. It's one of the best around. That and the smackdown vs raw series.
  8. I doubt most people would bother to be honest. It's one of those asset flips that people make to try and confuse those who don't know any better. Like parents or something lol.
  9. Lol just realized I mentioned two games and listed 3. Oh well. But yeah I should have said sports franchises. Yeah Madden has gone to shit. What was once a competant series in terms of football games, but now it's a shell of it's former self.

    MultiVersus

Yeah idk if I would play it again. I've never been a big fan of fighting games, and neither smash bros. It was fun for a bit, but I feel like I got out of it all I needed.
  11. That's right, I forgot they released a remastered versions recently. Might have to pick that up one of these days. For sure. There are so many great classics on the PS1.
  12. I used to play this game a lot. It reminds me a lot of peggle in a way, which is another fun game where you shoot a ball to delete other balls on the screen. I really need to check both games out again.
  13. That's another thing. I don't live near stores that sell video games. I wish I had a game store near me, but sadly I do not. I could make the trip out to go to the nearest stores, but I don't drive and I don't like to bum rides too far. Plus gas money is expensive these days. Gotta save as much as I can.
  14. Sorry, I should have said a spinoff in the sense of it being a different style of game. While it is a continuation of the series, it's gameplay is much different than the other Arkham games. It's a side scroller correct? So I probably shouldn't have said spinoff. And I disagree about Origins being second best. I prefer the likes of Arkham City first, Asylum, and then maybe origins before Knight. It's still a great game and is overlooked because it wasn't rocksteady making it.
  15. I agree. I think people are finding more interesting people to watch. That's why I think just chatting streams are becoming so popular these days. I prefer to watch let's plays for the games I want to see, and I don't care much for watching streamers play games anymore.
  16. Aren't those like role play servers? I know the likes of GTA V and RDR online have roleplay servers where you can do some modding. At least I think so, I could be wrong.
  17. But why not include him? It's not like he couldn't be in MK11 and his own game. I think he would fit perfectly in MK11, especially with the likes of other horror icons, like they did with Jason and Leatherface.
  18. I didn't understand why you mentioned this: "If you're making the argument for the long term continuation" Thats all. Just didn't make sense in the context of the topic. Not trying to argue or anything. But yeah I second more games of banjo and earthworm jim, but definitely not yearly or even bi-yearly. I think that would hurt both series rather than help it.
  19. I wouldn't say they can't compete with Sony and Nintendo. I think they're doing just fine right now in terms of sales. It doesn't matter if they're 2nd or 3rd, as long as they're doing good financially I don't think they'll fret too much.
  20. Saw a video of the beginning of the game and not sure I'm feeling it. The characters are kinda cringe and they say some cringey shit. I'm still interested in getting it eventually, just for the gameplay mostly, but I'm not really sure what to expect from this story. https://youtu.be/DSvX0KOdBWQ
  21. Yeah most people couldn't afford it. For some people that's the price of a brand new car or something. This is probably meant for people who have money they can throw away lol. Yeah, I guess there's more to it than that. There are sensors all throughout and I guess the floor simulates you walking, so that alone has got to cost a bunch.
  22. And it has potential to be even better with additional arcade games. I imagine this game will result in them releasing packs of arcade games or separate ones you can buy. Would be smart to do I think.
  23. The esthetic and feel of red dead revolver is much different from Red Dead Redemption. From what I heard it's a lot more campy and not as realistic. I believe it's also influenced somewhat by Japanese culture, but don't quote me on that as I'm probably wrong.
  24. I'm thinking about doing the same, but I don't really want to provide feedback to EA about the game. I just want to play and see what they have going on so far. But maybe if I'm enjoying it, I'll provide some feedback.
  25. I think with auto saves, they should make it where you could have multiple ones, just in case. Much like you could with manual saves. Maybe save at intervals, or during certain chapters or something. Because let's face it, some people don't do manual saves all the time, so there's that chance something could come up. Idk I think it'd be a nice feature for someone who doesn't use manual saves often.
