  1. What do you think is the biggest problem with online games? In my opinion, it's the cheaters that ruin the fun for everyone. There's no point in playing against someone who has an unfair advantage over others. Anti-cheat doesn't always catch everyone, so it's sad to see online games get ruined by cheaters.
  2. On my birthday, I was gifted two games by my friends. I was happy about that, as I had never before received games as a gift. What about you? What video games did you receive as gifts?
  3. I've refunded games a few times. I thought I would enjoy playing them. But it didn't turn out like that. Luckily, Steam allows to refund a game if you have played it for less than 2 hours. Have you ever refunded a game? How many times?
  4. If you check right now, how many video games do you have in your wishlist? I have only two games - Sea of Thives and ARK: Survival Ascended. I plan on getting them the next sale.
  5. I don't have a fixed time for playing video games. It's usually when I have free time. That's in the evening, usually.
  6. I've replayed The Walking Dead. Every time you make a different choice, the game plays out differently. There are many options and endings.
  7. I've paid $70 for a game, yes. It's a lot, true. But I've spent a lot of hours playing the game. It's worth it, in my opinion.
  8. I haven't seen crypto as a payment option for video games. I use Steam mostly. That's probably why. But no, I haven't bought any games with crypto.
  9. I wouldn't say that it's a "part of my day". I play video games when I have free time. I do that to relax. It's something that I'm used to and I enjoy it.
  10. I've played a couple of AAA games. They're usually cheaper than than "freemium" games that come out. If the game is free to play, it's most likely to be fed up with microtransactions. If you don't spend, you'll be far behind.
  11. I'm not exactly sure. Gaming can be a way to relax. You relieve yourself from stress by playing video games. If this counts, then yes.
  12. Outlast is the scariest game I've played. It was a long time ago, although. It's an amazing game, and the best part about it is that there's been a sequel to it. I still need to play it, as I haven't yet. What about you? What's the scariest video game you've ever played? Did you enjoy it?
  13. Video games nowadays usually don't come complete, and developers offer the option to purchase additional content (DLC) for them. That's a way to make more money from one product. Do you always purchase all the DLC for a game that you've bought? Why or why not?
  14. Thankfully, on digital platforms, you can refund a game if you don't like it. That's, of course, within reason. And with that, how many games have you refunded because you didn't like them? I've refunded only two games, as far as I can remember. I thought I would enjoy them, but I was disappointed.
  15. When you play an online game and see a cheater, do you take your time to report them? I do that always. I feel like it's my duty as a part of the online community to report the cheaters. They're killing the fun for everyone.
  16. I've read somewhere that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt takes around 80 hours. But there's no way that I can complete it in 80 hours. I've bought all the DLCs, and I usually do side quests. It will take way more time to complete this game.
  17. Steam has said that you won't be able to pass your library through a will. That's understandable from their point of view, they want to do business and earn more. But you can always write your credentials on a piece of paper and pass them through.
  18. I never felt that games were too identical in terms of strategies to each other. Whenever I play a different game, I actually feel that I play a different game. Maybe I'm just used to it or I don't have a good match that would make it feel like I'm playing the same game.
  19. I definitely don't feel worse than the average gamer. In fact, I'm pretty good at playing. I don't like to lose, so I train a lot. In games like CS 2, for example, I always try my best, and I perform better than the average player.
  20. Yes, in competitive games it's important to use the chat. Counter Strike is one of those games where I'm active in using the chat and communicating with my teammates. But I too avoid using the chat in GTA Online. There's nothing there to make it worth it.
  21. That might be it. The atmosphere in it just feels chill. Obviously, the fighting part of the game isn't that relaxing. I have to try hard to win when I'm fighting a boss. But exploration in The Witcher is very calming for me.
  22. Well, yes. Playing video games is a hobby for me. And there's nothing wrong with people who spend some bucks on their hobby. It's a way to relax. You invest in yourself.
  23. In FPS games, having a good aim is one of the most important things to win. Although, how do you improve it? When I was into competitive Counter Strike, I used to train my aim for at least a few hours every day. There was a special map I used to train my aim, reaction time, spray control, and anything else related to shooting. Spending even an hour shooting at bots helps you in a real match.
  24. Which game has the best soundtrack, according to you? The Last of Us: Part 1 won the 2024 Steam Award for the best soundtrack. I listened to some of it. I can say that it's really beautiful, and I enjoy it.
  25. Have you spent any money on lootboxes in the hope of winning something cool? Personally, I haven't spent anything on lootboxes. I see them as a way to gamble, and I usually don't have that much luck with them. I would rather buy the item myself than hope for a chance to win it from a box.
