Moments in video games that have stuck with you emotionally
Yarik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I don't think that a video game can have any emotional impact on me, it's just a game. But if I have to vote for any I would go for The Walking Dead. The endings are very sad as people are always getting murdered and main characters disappear. -
Probably a few years until I remember nothing of the video game and want to replay it. But in games where you can play with different characters I can go with an instant replay. I remember in Making History: The Great War how I played with other countries straight after I have finished with the previous one.

I would also vote for Minecraft. This video game inspired many other video games and created a very big community of players. It's just a game which is something like a classic.
-
Just voted too. As I love the Tomb Raider games I have voted for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It's an awesome in my opinion and deserves to vote for.

If you are playing Clash of Clans on my phone, what Town Hall level is your account? I upgraded mine to Town Hall 9 a few days ago and now I'm upgrading the buildings and troops.

What's the most memorable video game you played in the last few months?
Yarik replied to The Overseer's topic in Video Games
ARK: Survival Evolved, I guess? I downloaded it to try it myself after watching tons of videos. I got bored just after 2-3 days of playing it on my own and uninstalled. -
The night mode reduces the blue light from the screen and changes the colors temperature to the yellowish part of the spectrum. I find the image with the night mode on very uncomfortable for me.

Currently there is a Fall sale in Steam and most games have discounts including the ones which you have mentioned above. Also, you can wait for the Winter sale when I think there will be bigger discounts. You can also check websites like Kinguin, G2A, CDKeys, etc... Considering the i5 in your laptop the video card should be 1050TI or 1060 so you shouldn't have problem playing the games.
-
The video cards are nearly with the same performance as the desktop ones. But the processors aren't that powerful as they should be for that price. And in almost all cases with these video cards, the battery is dying within a hour or two when gaming on battery.

Didn't you contact the owner? If you did, what did he say for this situation? This is a really bad thing to happen to a former staff, sorry to hear man.

What's 'on top' in terms of gaming hardware?
Yarik replied to Martin Berisford's topic in Gaming Forum
I think that everyone has a different understanding of a high end PC. You can build one which can play any games at 1080P and up to 4K, depending on the game for under $1000 USD. -
How do you distribute your time when playing games?
Yarik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I always play what I want to play at the right moment. There is no thing for me like distributing my time to play a specific video game. The aim of playing game is to relax and have fun, you can't do that if you don't do what you like to do. -
I have played Clash of Clans. One account ran from my PC using Bluestacks and another from my phone. Just put some buildings to upgrade.

What are you considering getting on Black Friday?
Yarik replied to Katri Marcell's topic in Gaming Forum
As for games in Steam I want to get NBA 2K18 and Players' Unknown Battlegrounds. I have played a lot of the NBA games as younger and I kinda miss them. -
I have played 3 competitive matches in a row with a friend in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I have won 2 of them and the last one finished 15/15.
-
In generally, I don't think that the battle royale genre is overrated but Fornite. This game is for surely overrated. PUBG is much better in my opinion.
-
The Dust2 and Inferno maps in Counter Strike: Global Offensive has always been my favourite ones. I also like Mirage but not that much as the other ones.
-
You can become a streamer in YouTube, Twitch, etc. and when your channel grow you will start to receive donations from your viewers.
-
Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I have played a competitive Dust 2 match and actually found a nice and friendly person and became friends.
-
If you want to try it then it's worth the money. And the game is getting updates with new features and possibilities. It's up to you.
-
What video game character would you want to be your real-life friend?
Yarik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Clementine from The Walking Dead video game would be a pretty good friend. I could learn much about zombies and be friends. -
Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Got a losing streak of 7 loses in a row. And the last game I was playing the electricity went out...
-
The awesome video game ARK: Survival Evolved is now on sale on Steam. It's a great game which you can get now for 22 euros.

It's Grand Theft Auto V for me. I can do everything I want there and have fun exploding and shooting things. Or just drive around with a tank.
