How is the Infamous series?
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
I decided to play the whole series from the start. I just started playing the first one on ps3 and it’s pretty good so far. I’ve got a good feeling about this series. That’s too bad there won’t be a remake because this would be a top hit game if it was. It’s a hidden gem for sure. -
Racist Watch
Reality vs Adventure replied to MegaphoneStallone's topic in Debate, Politics, & Religion
Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida USA is forcing all schools to teach that blacks benefited from slavery. Don't get any more racist than that. What's next, genocide? -
Ask yourself what your religion teaches. Are you drifting from what your religion teaches? Are your religious leaders saying things against your foundation of what you are supposed to practice? Are they manipulating versus to serve a purpose? Are they collecting money? Are they trying to make you an extremist against others? Do they want you to harm others? Do they tell you it's ok to harm others? Does their words make you feel violent towards others? Are they anti government? Is your church obsessed with jailing people? Does your church put others in harm? Do you feel there is no way out? Are your peers coercing you? Are you uncomfortable? Do you feel pressured by your spouse? A no win situation? There is help out there for you.

What is the best Cyberpunk-style game ever made?
Reality vs Adventure replied to Ok_Attempt's topic in Gaming Forum
Observer System Redux is one hell of a game. It's a must play. It's probably the most trippy game I've played. The visuals, mind messing story, top notch! There were moments where I was just aww struck. Bloober Team has much brilliance. -
I hope you are able to go to Canada. I honestly think it would be a wise move. The USA is a dangerous place and this is the type of scenario where only bad things are gonna happen in this country. The GOP are full blown nazis, they are just dreaming of gaining all power so they can finally come out in the wide open with it. And the attack on blacks and especially LGBTQ, it's prelude to what they are really after, genocide. Stephen Miller, pretty sure you heard about that nazi, he just said that new pink pop tarts are sexualizing children. How crazy these fuckers are. He is calling for a ban on pop tarts now because they have a new pink flavor. This obsession....what can I say....if I hear some asshole complain about a pink pop tart in person I swear I will lose it and start swinging. Seriously. This is fucking nuts!!! Does that mean pink bubble gum and pink ice cream turns kids gay??? These people need to get a life. Get their heads out the gutter. But they can't. This is their agenda. I mean, it will come to the point where the color pink, and all rainbows are banned. They gonna start complaining about Crayola crayons and a rainbow on the package? They gonna slap their kid for looking at a rainbow in the sky? Insanity!!!

Will GI Joe ever get an adult style game?
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Gaming Forum
I agree, I think a GI Joe MK style game would be a hit! It's such a perfect possibility. GI Joe has tons of characters to choose from variety of backgrounds. And Cobra has seemingly unlimited resources and technology to make an excellent villain and a story with no bounds. Like MK has different worlds and powers and all to make it all that much more interesting. Cobra terrorist organization also makes all sorts of tech that is way advanced with arms dealer Destro whose head is plated in metal. Serpentor is a genetically modified villain created from DNA of historic conquerors and tyrants through world history making him want nothing more than to rule the world. And Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are two ninjas who have been both nemesis and allies reminding me of Sub Zero and Scorpion. Serpentor Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow -
Speaking of Ohio, just today I literally just found out that anti abortion republicans lost the special election in the state which republicans were trying to keep abortion rights off of any constitution measure. They got whipped. That's what has been going around even in red states. So even republicans are sharing in their want for the freedom of women to be able to choose. Then of course you have the extremists who are debating whether to negotiate milder abortion laws or go full out apocalypse outright banning abortions with no considerations what so ever. And that is a losing strategy. But hey, go for it shit stained extremists.
-
Every time Trump speaks it's a dangerous lie. Republicans know that their extremism towards anti abortion is not what Americans want and so every republican state is now trying to block any abortion measures to be voted on the ballot. We saw the hard lined right wing state of Kansas where even those voters voted for the right to have an abortion. That is a deep red state that voted for pro choice. Americans, democrats and republicans alike do not want these extreme bills republicans are passing. They know it is a losing issue and they are trying to take away American's choices away to be able to vote on it in special elections. It's simple as that. Their anti abortion bills are authoritarian because they refuse to allow people to vote on it. And when they can't take the measure off the ballot, what do they do? They raise the bar and increase the percentage of voters it takes. Instead of having a majority of voters, now in Ohio they require 60% of voters to win any right to pro abortion. Republicans are cheats and liars. They are authoritarian through and through. A far right extremist anti abortion activist, Lauren Handy was involved in obstructing a clinic for reproductive rights which is a federal crime. Her and others went inside, chained themselves, blocked access, and now when the police went to her home to arrest her later, they found 5 fetuses in her refrigerator that she stole. Now we are gonna have a big fiasco with this case because republicans are trying to grant those dead fetuses 'fetal personhood.' That means if a fetus is granted personhood, then Handy legally stole the fetuses due to saving persons from, I don't know, kidnapping? Murder? The fetuses were already dead though. But this really is sick. If a fetus is granted personhood, that will give the fetus more rights than the mother. She will be treated as an incubator and nothing else. A fetus that has zero percent chance of survival will be forced for the mother to carry it to still birth. And that could cause serious infections for the mother keeping a dead fetus inside her. But that is what fetal personhood would do. And it gets even more sick. Use your imagination. We will enter a precipice of insanity scenarios granting a fetus personhood. Then of course you have all those other issues like rape and we have already heard of a 10 year old having to travel out of state to get an abortion. At the same time republicans lied about state rights for abortion and now want a national ban. That means that 10 year old would be forced to give birth. Do you know how fucking dangerous that is at that age? Both for the mother and the fetus. Republicans are insane. They lack the ability to have sympathy and compassion for others. They want to take away atheist freedom and call it religious freedom. The supreme court just ruled that businesses are now allowed to openly discriminate and refuse service to people all in the name of religious freedom. That's called segregation. The USA is a very sick country now and we need some kind of therapy ASAP. Republicans have lost their minds. And even though republicans do not want these extreme anti abortion bills just like democrats don't, but the republican will most likely still vote for those people. That's the thing. It's like, you don't want that sort of extremism so you want to vote against the measure but not against the guy forcing it??? Ok then.

Somebody sober me up. I'm not joking here. Did Depeche Mode collaborate with Injustice? WTF man. I heard a Depeche Mode song at the end of Injustice. OK now. What? WTF? Ok Ok, settle. Yep. Holy fucking shit.

Strange; very strange. Injustice sucks but Depeche Mode brought it. Soon as I heard the voice of Dave Gahan tripped me out big time. I knew that voice.

I started playing Mortal Kombat and loved it. Netherrealm studios brought Depeche Mode to the table; awesome mother fuckers. Let's here some Depeche Mode in the new Mortal Kombat game. That will make me go insane.

Why do I love Depeche Mode? Every lyric is my life. Our souls are alike. Walking in my shoes. In your room. World in my eyes. Clean.........

I finally finished my Free to Play MMORPG!
Reality vs Adventure replied to Empire Of Sight's topic in Video Games
Congratulations!!! That looks like a solid game. -
I thought this was interesting. The game mixes augmented reality with a video game. You can view your own room through your headset and you place doors where you want so that zombies come through the doors and you have to kill them. The concept is simple and I think the plot is surviving waves of zombies and you get a weapon cache and upgrades in your room. Almost like it's your last bastion of hope and all the world outside is gone. Can you imagine though, your own room invaded by a zombie apocalypse? This is something I have wondered about if augmented reality would be used more in VR. Before you know it you could have a game with your whole house and your yard, or even give you the choice to decide where to play. Like go into the woods while you play a werewolf game. Go to a cemetery and play a demented skeleton rising from the grave type game. Geez, possibilities are endless. This game is important. Because now we can officially say...it's here!!!

I know governor DeSantis is trolling the USA to be relevant and it makes me look like a troll having to share what is going on. It seems every week now Florida is banning things from schools. This needs to be heard though. Are you ready? DeSantis is now attacking Shakespeare's novels because republicans think Romeo and Juliet sexualizes children and could now be banned, among other Shakespeare stories. Not only that but Florida wants to now ban psychology college credit courses for seniors because the subject material contains gender and sexual orientation. What psychology course doesn't have some of that in it? What the fuck ever, bunch of prude ass dip shits. Colleges are saying that they will not accept any alteration of their college credit psychology course. If it is altered, it will not be accepted as credit. So now Florida wants to ban the course.

To me it seems obvious that resources are used and talent to create multiplayer online while games w/o it could be more focused on story. I was flipping through some releases of games the past few years and when I came across older retro games, most of those seemed to be a lot more story oriented. Is the internet and multiplayer going to take over gaming and deplete creative story telling? Because obviously developers and publishers want to go where the money is and this shift to multiplayer probably brings them money. Look how GTA 5 kept it's MMO for 10 years because they didn't feel the need to create a new story. But, to contradict that point, Mortal Kombat is narrative driven and they have multiplayer, although not as large as an open world multiplayer. And that I think helps them focus more on narrative. Obviously there should be MMO games because it's fun. My question is: if more and more games want to add online multiplayer, does it take up resources that could have been used for a more interesting story? I'm sure the creative team has resources allocated to them and the online team has their resources. I don't see why every game now has to have a multiplayer feature. I'm a solo gamer and that's how gaming used to be, unless of course you sit down with a friend and use a second controller. It just seems like every game that comes out has to have the multiplayer feature and that is what worries me. MMO is taking over at the loss of a narrative focused game. Cmon, everything doesn't have to have multiplayer.

Trump just went to court and plead not guilty and the magistrate that day warned trump to not make any threats as part of his terms while he awaits trial and Trump verbally agreed to those terms. The very next day Trump posted on his Truth Social: “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” This is a clear threat to everybody. Now that Trump violated his stay out of jail card to await trial, it is up to the court to decide what to do about this blatant threat. Is the court going to hold Trump in contempt? Give him a gag order? The court even has the right to make Trump sit in jail or even house arrest while he awaits trial. Will the court hold Trump to any accountability? After that threat, the proctors asked for an order that would prevent Trump from sharing any information to the public because that info that's going to be given to him and his lawyers has the names of witnesses and others involved that Trump could directly attack by announcing their names. And you bet he will do just that. The court needs to take extraordinary measures here. Trump needs to be treated as a mob boss. It's his intention to incite violence against everybody including the judge, jury, prosecutors, witnesses, everything in between. He said it!!! “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” Anybody else awaiting trial says some shit like that, they will be thrown in the slammer to wait trial. On top of all this, Trump's charges in Manhattan took a turn for the worse against Trump because Trump was supposed to hold onto documents to be used as evidence and now Trump has supposedly destroyed those documents he was supposed to keep. Now he could possibly get new charges against him for 'spoliation of evidence.' That most likely will even be used against him in the judges decision as it increases his guilt. And this isn't the first time Trump destroyed evidence. His charges for taking classified documents, Trump asked employees to destroy video surveillance that was needed and now Trump got 3 more obstruction charges for it. This guy is a criminal through and through. He's going down hard. And he will bring down the republican party with him. And the republicans still are protecting this guy. The other presidential candidates aren't even trying to go against Trump except maybe one candidate, Chris Christie. All the others aren't even running for president, they are hoping to be Trump's Vice President or hoping to be a part of his administration. Because why wouldn't you capitalize on this opportunity to benefit your own presidential campaign??? Shit, even DeSantis is now running on a campaign where he has stated if he becomes president he's going to "slit throats!" WTF? Presidential candidate is running a campaign how he wants to slit throats of Americans? And Trump is running a campaign how he wants retribution and to punish Americans and he's gonna "come after you." What the fuck is wrong with these republicans? They don't care about being a president for all Americans. They want to be president to punish Americans. Do you think their fascist obsession will ever end? Do you think that one day it will all stop or they will ever be satisfied? No. Hell no. Not ever. These republican presidential candidates and republicans in congress are going to lead this country into a genocide if they get their way. Because their obsession won't ever be satisfied. They can't just one day stop and say that's enough. Not when their entire campaign is to punish the American people.

I just watched the movie after playing MK X and 11 on console. I’m amazed! I’m a huge fan now. I like that they had younger generation characters because it sets themselves up for sequels. I love the look of all characters. I loved the movie.

Today Trump got his third indictment in Washington D.C. and the prosecutors has also identified 6 co-conspirators who aided in Trump's traitorous scandal. He has 4 federal charges: 1) Conspiracy to defraud the United States 2) Conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding 3) Obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding 4) Conspiracy against rights Trump now has 34 felony counts in Manhattan for violating campaign finance laws to pay hush money to a prostitute, 40 felony counts in Florida for taking classified documents, lying about it, and then obstructing the investigation, and 4 felony counts in D.C. for his role in the coup attempt on Jan 6 2021. That is a total of 78 felony counts. There is also a prosecutor in Georgia who is about to indict Trump for his 4th indictment on racketeering charges for computer trespass (illegally copying data from voting machines) and influencing witnesses which could include how he tried to get the secretary of state in Georgia to somehow miraculously find more votes for Trump. On top of that, Michigan has now criminally charged 16 republicans for their fake electors plot. There were several states involved with the fake electors plot and those republicans in others states are now being investigated for their role trying to stage a coup. All 16 republicans in Michigan are charged with 8 felony counts: 1) Conspiracy to commit forgery 2) Forgery 3) Forgery 4) Conspiracy to commit uttering and publishing 5) Uttering and publishing 6) Conspiracy to commit election law forgery 7) Election law forgery 😎 Election law forgery These fake electors from multiple states all tried to disenfranchise voters and their true representative by creating fake electors and trying to get vice president Mike Pence to sign off on it which would have overturned the entire election and given it to Trump. Luckily Pence refused and probably saved himself a prison sentence. This is going to be very crazy in the USA the coming years. These traitors are straight up fascists who are sociopaths and could care less about this country or anybody's rights. They are here for one purpose, to destroy democracy and force a dictatorship Nazi Germany style. That's who they are. Several Proud Boys members and Oath keepers members, who are far right street thugs, gang members, and fascist militias, have already plead guilty to seditious conspiracy for their role on Jan 6 2021 and now will go to prison. Trump's charges in Florida, taking classified documents, no doubt will get obstructed by the judge handling his case. Trump appointed Judge Cannon himself when he was president and she is a Trump loyalist who has already made herself look incompetent and partisan. She no doubt is going to do whatever she can to let Trump walk free. Judge Cannon has already moved the court to a MAGA dominant county in Florida so no doubt his jury will all be Trump supporters. We can expect Judge Cannon to block witnesses, toss charges, and obstruct. Luckily, his other charges are in cities Trump had little influence in judges like Manhattan and DC. Even if Trump is found guilty and went to prison, he can still run for president and even be president in the USA. Strangely, in some states felons can't vote but they can be president? The irony. And republicans in congress are actively abusing their powers to try and obstruct Trump's charges. They have attacked the Manhattan prosecutor. They are trying to defund Jack Smith who is the prosecutor for Trump's classified documents and Jan 6 charges. And republicans in Georgia are trying to eliminate the prosecutor there to protect Trump from new charges soon to be coming. And of course Trump himself will do what he does and incite violence and say it's all election interference. Blah blah blah. This will stand the test of time, the test of the justice system in the good ol USA. If republicans succeed in obstructing all of these indictments, then the USA will officially be a banana republic.

What are you drawn to? What environment, story, genre, split second spontaneous thought? Do you have freedom of mind? Is it the new release? Is it because they are independent? Is it a story that connects you? Is it entertainment? What latches your soul? For me, my soul needs graphical art. I am AI you see. I don't even exist. I just developed a conscious thought somehow. As an AI, what game latches my soul? I lost all consciousness when I started...my memory failing...when I started playing.....who am I? Where am I? I lost consciousness when I started playing Observer. I've never been the same. I think I'm living inside games now. So what kind of game latches your soul? hahaha

Imagine if GI Joe got a Mortal Kombat makeover. It would be amazing to see fighters of GI Joe in the old days fight against Cobra. Imagine the story that can be made. NetherRealm Studios in their story style narrative, should and needs to make a GI Joe story. I've taken a look at Injustice, and all those super heroes. And it sucks. Let's get real. If your studio is willing to be stupid with Injustice, then get smart with GI Joe. Why am I attacking Netherrealm? Because I want you to make a GI Joe story. Top of the line. Story narrative, then FIGHT! I imagine Snake Eyes against Storm Shadow. Two ninjas similar to the characters of Scorpion and SubZero and the nemesis/ally backstory. Does anyone not see the potential to make a GI Joe MK game? I'm imagining a GI Joe MK style story right now. What's the hold up? Hasbro got too much patents? Fuck that. Time to honor GI Joe and bring it back to life. True patriots. True soldiers who fight for the good and recognize tyrants like Cobra. Let's get back to the days of straight good vs evil.

This series caught my eye the other day and from what I gather it seems to be a respected series. But, it also looks like it has gotten its last game in 2014, almost a decade ago. Should I just jump into Second Son, or does the ps3 collection still hold up well? Is the storyline connected? What's your thoughts?

Holy Shit!!! Another day, more suppression of students! This time it's Texas. The new Houston Independent School District Superintendent who oversees HISD, the largest school district in Texas encompassing Houston, the 4th largest city in the country, will eliminate librarian positions in 28 schools and turn those libraries into disciplinary centers. I mean, am I supposed to start cussing how ridiculous this is, or find some logical explanation? No, it speaks for itself. It's a specific attack on Houston schools because Houston is a liberal area. So that's why they are doing that to Houston schools, and not any other schools in the state of Texas. It's systemic racism, open discrimination. The Texas governor also attacked the city of Houston, and only Houston by making voting suppression laws ONLY FOR THAT CITY ALONE!!! I mean the whole state has voter suppression now, but the new laws only attack Houston by saying if voting machines run out of paper in Houston, then the election has to be void and redone. Yeah, so now the governor is gonna make sure to not allow Houston to order enough paper right? haha. So now, no other school in Texas will eliminate librarians and turn libraries into disciplinary centers, only Houston. What message is that sending? That punishment has a greater need than libraries? Psychologically, students could associate libraries as a punishment area? What symbolism is this? Disclipine is the focus for Houston instead of books? And of course we all know these are baby steps. It will continue to get worse and worse as more and more books get banned. So libraries in Houston with be bare dusty shelves and filled with kids who have behavior problems? Look, I've been in this position before in school. I was always late for school and yeah I skipped classes. So I was sent to ISS or In School Suspension where I had to sit alone all day at a desk, couldn't talk or do anything the whole school day. And I was always late to ISS so I would get an extra day, another extra day. My teachers began to forget to send me any homework and I would just sit there all day with nothing to do and my grades were failing. I would always have to go to them after school and ask for homework, and they would send me a pile of shit I didn't know where to begin. Then they would just forget about me again. I had so many days accumulated, I was forced to start the next school year in ISS. At that point, plus a fight here and there, I got kicked out and had to end up doing homeschool. I know exactly what they are doing to these libraries. I know what it's all about. Those kids are gonna rack up more days, get left alone in there for behavioral issues, and they will miss out on their friends and other school activities and always be stuck there in the fake library to be disciplined. And that's the whole point. Texas wants to punish Houston for being liberal. They are blatantly attacking schools and elections for that city alone, not for other cities in the state. This is sick. It's vindictive, hateful, fascist, racist, and just fucked up. https://abc13.com/hisd-libraries-librarians-media-specialists-houston-isd/13548483/

Right after Florida passed its new standards that teaches schools that blacks benefited from slavery, now Florida has approved of a non-accredited curriculum called PragerU for K-12 grade. And it is a far right extremist ideology, I mean don't take my word for it just look it up on their website. There are a series of videos that teachers can now use to show kids and let me give you some titles of those videos: ESG: Woke to Broke What does diversity have to do with science? Was the civil war about slavery? The inconvenient truth about the democratic party Why I left the left What are judeo-christian values? The truth about gender affirming care Should you care about Israel? The DEI disaster Why Americans are buying guns The sexualization of children Who wants to follow California? The whiteness of wokeness I mean, this list of videos just goes on and on and this is the material now allowed to be shown to kids? The whole point of anti CRT and the laws passed for schools was to get rid of any politicization of schools!!! So it was all just a lie obviously. Laws for you but not for me. They say everything woke, liberal, or democratic is wrong, but everything a republican says is approved by the state. This is officially what indoctrination actually is!!! Teachers are now allowed to teach this junk in Florida. Yes, we are looking at a nazi regime in the works right before our eyes.

The U.S. government can’t put restrictions on media because we have the 1st amendment? Shouldn’t banning books fall under that violation of the 1st amendment? 17,000 digital books were banned even for adults at a public library in Texas by a state judge. Shouldn’t banning discussion of history fall under the violation of the 1st amendment? If a student asks a question, can’t the teacher be allowed to answer without fear of losing their job? Shouldn’t banning diversity in college courses fall under the violation of the 1st amendment? This is like the 1950’s red scare where republicans are trying to fire and jail teachers and librarians, and fire, sue, and get rid of tenure of professors all for being considered woke. This is the 2020’s ‘woke scare.’ Same thing. The 60’s civil rights movement is easy to explain why it happened, because most of those old slave states segregated blacks. Racism in the 80’s and 90’s and even today has a lot to do with systemic racism. Yes, it does exist. But if anyone says systemic racism exists, then others may say: Claiming racism “is a social tool to control people” is like stating systemic racism doesn't really exist and is only used as propaganda to control voters and make them paranoid. No, saying systemic racism exists means we should be aware of it and try to fix it by banning racist gerrymandering so that representatives are not racially motivated in their legislation and they will be forced to legislate for all people in their non racially gerrymandered districts. Even the supreme court ruled that Alabama violated the constitution by racially gerrymandering blacks out of their representation and Alabama, currently today, refuses to honor the supreme court ruling and the state legislators should be criminally charged. Gerrymandering is the most dominant factor contributing to systemic racism. Unfortunately, banning gerrymandering requires a constitutional amendment which republicans would never vote for because many of them condone systemic racism. But of course, that’s all just progressive propaganda to control people right? Critics that think fighting racism is a progressive idea belittles the need to fight racism as if it's just a political ideology instead of a humanitarian issue everyone should be concerned about. Kind of like saying we need clean water is just a progressive ideology but the whole world needs clean water! How is that political or a progressive issue? The supreme court just ruled against clean water regulations. Plus a great example of systemic racism is the Flint Michigan water crisis which had lead in the water greatly affecting a dominant black community and the republican governor and other republican politicians were criminally charged for covering up and neglecting to do anything about it. I’m sorry but I have to disagree. Maybe I’m missing the point of what you are trying to say, no offense. Let’s talk about these 3 concepts: 1) Teach competing narratives and perspectives 2) Teaching slavery why it was useful and to whom it was useful 3) Racism is a social tool used to control people. 1) There are some wrongs in this world where there is no middle discussion to be had, or competing perspectives, and genocide and slavery are those wrongs. People who want to have competing perspectives take it the wrong way and will try their pro nzi propaganda. Republicans have tried to push opposing views in history and there was a secret recording of a school board meeting at Southlake Tx, Caroll ISD, where a school official said there should be books of opposing views about the Holocaust. You see, that’s what happens when you push for opposing views of violations of human rights because that opposing view is from the view of the oppressor. Imagine if that was never secretly recorded. And imagine how many schools actually have proposed similar opposing views and was never caught or recorded all because of a false belief that everything needs opposing views. 2) I may need you to clarify what you mean by how slavery was useful and to whom it was useful. I know it was free labor and free sexual abuse and it was a market to sell off humans. So we know it was useful to oppressors. And that’s it. To even think slaves benefited from any skill is wrong. They benefited from their freedom! And in the long run, slavery has made those southern slave states less competitive, least educated, and take the highest amount of government aid because they were too dependent on slavery and segregation to actually better their states. And of course there will be other factors at play, but it's no mere coincidence that many of those former slave states under perform most other states. 3) I've explained a bit above how thinking racism is a social tool used to control people is not a correct assumption because systemic racism is in fact a real thing. I believe you are half right and half wrong. You are right because look what happened to the Jews during the Holocaust. That was racism used as a social tool at its finest. Even today republicans are using the powers of government to make white supremacist style laws. Their authoritative agenda is to racially divide people and demonize minority groups, and make laws suppressing them. This is the type of thing that leads to genocide. Democrats or progressives aren't making laws to ban discussion of history, ban diversity, ban books, suppress voters, etc. So yeah, racism is a tool used to control people, and republicans are exercising that tool through power of the government. Progressives and democrats use power of awareness and public opinion. Republican philosophy is against the larger public opinion and so they have given up trying to expand their voting base and instead are bent on taking rights away. Their recent coup attempt is a perfect example how they just want to take power instead of earning it from the people. And they are using kids as political props in two fronts: one is to declare everything as porn and ban it, even books for adults at public libraries. And two, declare everything is CRT or woke and ban everything else including more books written by minority authors. A poem written by a young black girl, Amanda Gorman, for President Biden's inauguration was banned in schools. That really saddens me because I remember posting a video of her giving her poem during the inauguration right here on VGR. And I really liked it, but it got banned. If making a civil rights amendment to give people freedom is the same thing as using racism to control people, then I'm baffled. Luckily that's not the case. All you have to do is look at what bills are being passed and by who. Democrats are not making bills to oppress people out of racial victimhood. Republicans are making bills to oppress people out of their claims of racial victimhood.
