I have a hard time getting into it. It's one of those, 'am I missing something' games.

I got the game, played for an hour, then deleted it from the console. One day I'll give it another try.

Has gaming increased your empathy?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
We are in big trouble as a society if we rely on games for empathy. Wait...we ARE in big trouble as a society because people lack empathy. -
Toxic Gamer Entitlement Is An Absolute Myth!
Reality vs Adventure replied to killamch89's topic in Video Games
A finished game isn't entitlement, it's consumer rights. I don't want to buy a loaf of bread with slices missing. -
Are they ever gonna make the game not require the internet or multiplayer?

Mad Max My car is my GOD. Take me away from here. Protect me. I will find gas for you. I will kill for you. Maybe I am a saint after all. Let's spread the f***** gospel. This is a holy war.

What do you want from VR in the future?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
More than anything, they really need to make it user friendly. Not many people want to stand while gaming. There are games you can sit and play, but I would say the majority of games would require you to stand and move around. That's why there are a very limited number of games in VR. The controls are weird. It's not comfortable on the face. Graphics are lagging. It would be awesome to bluetooth sound through home speakers or built in head phones to go over ears. But then it would feel like your whole head is in a can. I don't need flashbacks of the porcelain nightmares. I would want a VR where I can sit and play any game. Add the option to use actual body movement or everything on a playstation like controller. And then we could Assassin's Creed it and hook it up to someone's DNA and relive the past life of some ancient person and their memories in any time period. Sound far fetched? So was the telephone. -
The last title I played was a ps2 game. What is the series like these days? Is there still a million moves to learn and another billion from a cheat magazine???
-
Yeah I'm probably gonna get. I've got that urge to play it; you know like that feeling when you want a little something special at the grocery store.

How long does it take you to adjust to a new game?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I guess it takes me a couple weeks if it's an open world and linear games less than that. Then if I haven't played it for too long, then I have to relearn. So even months I can play a game casually like I do and still learn how to play. -
This game is a must and you would probably really enjoy it. Great story and gameplay. It's a lot cheaper these days. A gem not to pass up.

I didn't really like this game because the whole story changed halfway through which pissed me off.
-
I would read more

I have the whole series collect up until 3. I really want to play it through cause the story is actually good, but it's just one of those 'one day' games. Hmmm; one day I will get there. Can 3 be played without finishing previous games?

Contra was awesome and probably my favorite game back then. But I haven't played anything past the 80's. I wish Contra would do a game something like how Mercenaries was on ps2.

My bounty is like $300 and I only got about $290. I guess after all that work, I gotta start over. I was saving for a horse. Where do you find the Arabians?
-
It is a beautiful game, but..... I have two problems. One is the bounty hunters won't let me play the game and two, the controls are weird. But if you can scratch those two, then it is a well rounded game.

A game with incredible immersion?
Reality vs Adventure replied to The Overseer's topic in Video Games
I agree The Last of Us; and Layers of Fear 1 and 2 kept me on the edge and curious for more. -
Why Are There So Few Women in TLOU?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
Cause men are assholes and tend to be bandits. -

So far this year it's been pretty good for me. I started off the year sending my system to the shop, but now things seem good. I've mostly played the ps4. I've got almost the whole series of Assassin's Creed, which I love. I just finished Witcher 3 story which is no small feat. I played Layers of Fear 1 and 2 and is the best psychological thriller; hard to beat and what an amazing blast into 2021. I'm also playing Outlast and Alien Isolation for my horror. Giving RDR2 another shot. Got into Ghost of Tsushima and such a treat. I am an emperor being fed grapes at this point. How about you? How has it all been going? What have you finished/started/love/hate??? Any goals made, games bought, records broken, achievements?

I'm curious about these too -
Did it turn out to be good?
