  1. I think the great success of Witcher 3 is what is keeping CD Projekt Red afloat. They have the ability to make great games. But they just have poor business plans which made them rush the release. Speaking of good business, they got them free DLC's yet? I'm still looking forward to play the game, but patiently waiting.
  2. I agree it would be strange to see those things in video games. Every time there is a movement for human rights, they are always undermined.
  3. I've missed a bunch and will add however many I can in due time. I know you have got a good list. Add what you can cause this is a list for everybody who is looking for something creepy to play.
  4. Alien Isolation Outlast Layers of Fear Hall Fight- came across on another thread-not yet released but looks good Observer Resident Evil The Last of Us The Suffering-ps2-I really liked Fatal Frame-ps2
  5. I always come across a good scary game on one thread or another. I just wanted to make a consolidated list of these games so that anyone looking for something to try can refer to this list. Then you can always start a new post on a specific title to go into detail and share your experience. But this is just a list for reference. I love these types of games and I have a hard time looking for some to play without reading 100 posts. Feel free to leave a description too.
  6. I didn't know that and don't know much about the massacre. Good to learn about though before going into Outlast 2. I'm playing the first one at the moment and it's pretty good.
  7. UPDATE: I love this s##t! WHEN *HORROR* MEETS **ART** THEY MAKE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER BABIES
  8. Some things aren’t meant to be political but made political by people who threaten human rights. That guise is used to abuse creative freedom or freedom of speech. Sad thing is, if you try to stop the bad from filtering in games, or any media/entertainment, then you risk encroaching those rights. But if it’s something that has nothing to do with threatening the right to life and prosperity, then be as creative as you want. That is very true I agree, but I'm gonna nitpick a little bit because BLM is not political. It is a human rights issue made political by people who oppose them. I know you didn't mention anything except it shouldn't be a banner in a menu. What about Covid? What if that health issue was a banner in a game menu. Would it be accepted then? Because that public health issue has been made political by the crazies also. Should that health awareness be placed in a menu? Should a breast cancer awareness ribbon be put in a menu? Couldn't agree more. I read a lot and whenever I am interested in a book I always have to read reviews to find out if the author turns politically biased of the opposing field halfway through. That would piss me off. And it is pretty common in books, way more than video games.
  9. hahaha pikprik. Why not just eat cucumber pickles? They have to go for the dick. They would need a big jar if it was a horse.
  10. I've been curious about this as well. You can hook it up to the tv or be portable right? I actually was looking up games available for it the other day. But the system isn't that cheap.
  11. I always thought that menu was cool too. I really can't think of another.
  12. I think what would solve most issues is character customization, gear options, and even gender options. AC Valhalla you actually can switch from female to male anytime. That game also has a variety of tattoos to place on the character whether it is head, arms, back, or chest. So that is very cool to me, and you always have that option to cover up or show off. Another thing is that is a cultural past time too if you want to get into every aspect of warriors showing a bit of skin. When I'm riding around having fun then I would be more revealing in the gear. I like to be more realistic at times and I would put the helmet on etc. So give us these options. Once again referring back to Valhalla, I love being able to play a man's role or a woman's. I usually don't like playing the typical male we always see over and over, but being a viking in that atmosphere just works perfectly. I play the male more so than the female. But I can easily switch roles and put my mind into the female character and I think having that choice is awesome. It puts to rest controversy if you aren't forced to play a half naked guy or gal. And remember, armor sometimes is hierarchical or fashionable. There are many examples where armor has intricate designs. Sometimes for battle, other times to show off around the castle. Marines have formal wear for ceremonies and battle wear. We should have fun and it's ok if you want Kassandra in a bikini while walking through a fishing village in the Mediterranean. Maybe she was in a hurry to battle and put on her pants and not the top. I go through all these roles. Even as the male, I would have his shirt off with the tattoos showing, and go all out fuck the world Valhalla style. To be offended by sexualization and get political on it is oppression. There are women in this world who want to be able to show their faces and skin. Most of the time it is the man that oppresses them. But if it is a woman who simply thinks the gear is offensive to her, then she should have the option to dress the character as she wants. But don't ever oppress the creators or myself as a consumer if you are offended by skin. Play as you like and I'll play as I like. We can do that in one game if given the options. If not, then the game will lose customers one way or another.
  13. orange juice and melted cheese in a cup mashed potatoes and apple sauce mixed to perfection holy toilet water in church service right after dump teeth broth pork pecker rinds
  14. And the 13 yr old hispanic kid Adam Toledo that was killed by a cop had his hands up. Fox news always reports an underage black/brown person as a man, and an underage white person as a boy even if the white person committed murder.
  15. And another cop shot a man dead and thought she was using a taser. These are the reasons why there are protests that keep occurring. And the red states really don't give a shit. Instead of justice of holding cops responsible, they make laws like in Florida that attacks freedom of speech or the freedom to protest. Now in that state any protestor can be arrested if a cop felt intimidated and they won't get bail. Part of our constitution is due process. How can you deny them bail??? And here we have murderers that attacked the capital, interrupted an election process, and fled from the law, and almost all of them got bail. And they legalized the terrorist act of running over protestors with a car. Well, we know the far right are looking forward to protests in Florida so they can commit murder. Cops murdering blacks needs to stop.
  16. I never lived there, but I would give up my citizenship and get one there if I could. The Italian as well as the Japanese population has been decreasing. I would knock it back up.
  17. That is some heavy duty armor on her shoulders. But in battle, intimidation or underestimation is half the attack or feint. So if a woman knows her combat skills, it may pay to wear something skimpy to throw them off, same with underwear and a cape in 300. I would say that in real life that just wouldn't happen and they will wear some kind of protection. Then again, in 300, the Spartans were going to fight to their death. Half nude is a good feint especially when you know your prowess and any underestimation from the enemy will add to the head count. As far as the woman, would you swing like a mad man if tits were flapping around? You would probably pause, and that is enough to get you killed. Many warriors would paint their bodies and if you were a huge mf, you would want to show your muscle against your opponent. So 50/50 I say that is realistic. For me, I have to say show me the skin.
  18. I think it is an expensive hobby being as a new gamer. But usually any hobby costs money. Some games can give you a bunch of hours of entertainment which you make a good point that sometimes it is cost effective. Not so much for a 20 hour linear new game. And if you get the disc, then you can always resell it. But you also have to weigh the therapeutic value of gaming which some games I've played outweigh its price and I can play for years. Electronics and discs devalue over time so that is something to factor in. Whatever it is that brings joy in your life is money well spent as long as it isn't something bad for your health. That's the key I think. There are so many people out there wasting money on other things, so it is a blessing to find something you love. "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy" "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy" "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy" "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy" "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy"
  19. Have you come across some pretty good side games in some of the video games you played? I really like Orlog in AC Valhalla and Gwent in Witcher 3. I actually want to get the Gwent card game in real life. Any 'in game' game you liked or was interesting or confusing you have tried?
  20. I finally got Mad Max for $5 at the playstation store! Now I have to clear space on my system to play it. Hmmm what to delete?
  21. Don't be so sure about the USA. Florida just passed a bill that it is legal to run over protestors in the street. And police have the right to jail any protestor if they feel intimidated in any way. That basically states that a cop can jail you if you look at them wrong. They can claim they felt intimidated. And the protestors have no right to bail. So long for free speech in Florida. This is a blatant attack on democracy aimed at liberals. But I hope one day when republicans want to protest in the street that they get run over. Their own bill will work against them. As we saw all the terrorist attacks running over protestors on purpose during the unrest, Florida just gave them the green light to do more of it. And other states will probably follow in step. Free speech? Not in the fascist states of America.
  22. They tend to gesticulate more in the southern Italian areas. I remember down in the Amalfi Coast area I was on a bus and two old ladies were talking and they were using their hands in a way that was just intriguing. And the way they talked too. I had to snap out of it. 😮 I have Sicilian in me and I felt a piece of DNA strand tingle when I see their hand movements.
  23. That Conarium looks good! That's a good sale cause I see it on ps4 for $20 also. I definitely would get it if I had Switch.
