  1. Well, if you didn't think Fox news was state run media, now you should rethink that. Talk about conflicts of interest. If you watch Fox news, it's time to step out of the vacuum and learn truth outside that black hole. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/29/business/media/lara-trump-fox-news.html
  2. 🤣🤣😂😅😄😂😂 Dodge dodge, look at me!!! PIC Dodge dodge, I'm swinging my axe PIC Wait wait, fight me over here PIC
  3. That sounds pretty cool to be able to mod. I'd have a blast with it, but I don't have a gaming computer. I've seen some character mods for that game and looks pretty good.
  4. To me it feels strange if my sis calls me a gamer, cause I'm not sure exactly what that is supposed to mean. If someone watches tv do we call them a tv watcher? Or an internet surfer? A twitterer? A music listener? It almost seems like a 'gamer' is derogatory. Oh, he's a 'gamer' 😲 No way man; it can't be! I don't mind at all playing older games or talking about them. Every time I think about it I want to play them. But then I have to hook it up, and ...blah blah. I'm lazy. I don't even like putting a new disc in the ps4. It should be multi disc. They have that for cd players, but not games? Man, I'm way off topic. Diversity is what makes the world go round. Once that stops, all you got is one mind left and nothing left of value to learn.
  5. My gaming experience has been pretty therapeutic. I hardly watch tv anymore now. Remember when it was a nice peaceful experience to get comfortable and watch a movie? That used to be the thing. But now I can keep living in an experience that I can make it last as long as I want. The movie ends in 2 hours, but the game can be played for hundreds of hours. There are quite a few games I never want to end. At least if the story ends, I still have the environment to keep exploring and interacting with. The games I play just leaves me very very very impressed. And for the first time I am even considering looking up soundtracks. Would I have appreciated this so much as I do now if I played games my whole life? Who knows. Maybe more so, maybe not. It was the right time for me when I got into gaming. My mind was restless. Ash and embers were twirling around all over the place from the world I burned down. And in that smoke, I found some brilliant games that in a way helped ease the burden of facing the harsh realities. But it's more than that. Or maybe it's simple. Or maybe is a combination of something complex and simple. Why are any of us so passionately drawn to gaming? I think anyone out there can also be if they played the right game and let go over their arrogant childish pride. Yes, you are a child if you think you are too good to play a video game. Part of being an adult is to be mature enough to not care what others think. Pride is a child's ego. Pride is dangerous. Pride creates unhappiness. Games can help families bond. And that's why I mentioned pride, because a parent should let go, and play games with their kids or significant other.
  6. I think running around everywhere and looking this way and that moving the camera around everywhere is what causes headaches. One of the things I really like in Assassin's Creed games is when the bird lands on your shoulder when in idle. That in itself motivates you to stop and take things in. Slow down. But that is what the game is designed for. My best immersions is when I walk slow. And everything looks dramatically real. And it's that certain type of music too. Some games have fast chaotic music that makes you want to run around excitedly. Other music makes you feel like taking it slow. And there is something about being in 3rd person dressed in that gear that just adds to it. Ghost of Tsushima is a great game to take it slow also. I have to remind myself, that the weather may change but time is on my hands. Nothing is forcing me to run around like a mad man.
  7. I would like for them to keep it in serious mode and not pg13 it and dumb us down for a broader audience. That's where The Walking Dead failed. I think they should highlight who the fireflies personally are and not keep it a big mystery looking at writings on the wall. We know they had good intention, so they should build up on some of those firefly characters. I hope they don't make the whole series as flashbacks. I hate that. Start it off as they did in the game with his daughter, and go from there. Please don't keep flashbacking!!!
  8. How is divisive stories self-serving? You could have a divisive story and be completely neutral to either side, but produce the story just for the sake of entertainment, or just for the sake to cause a splash. Making money is self serving regardless.
  9. cough cough throws head back chug chug 🤮 reaches for the vinegar root beer
  10. Time is a chain around our necks. Break free; break free
  11. I think that would be good business to give free DLC after everything considered. But first priority should be the fixes. See how that pans out. Because if they can't get it functional on all systems, then who will even want DLC anyways? And I hope the free DLC will be permanently free and not force everyone to download a broken game, then download a bunch of DLC and have it sit there for a year till its playable. Cause I probably won't download my game till Christmas and pretend it's a new gift. And I would want that free DLC then. If I miss out I will burn the game.
  12. Could be a ghost. Maybe there is a pile of bones with some loot somewhere.
  13. I think that game was trying to challenge you to get through missions without killing to see how stealthy you can be. That happens often in Assassin's Creed missions where I'm supposed to assassinate someone without being noticed, or without all out battle. But there is no real consequences or extra rewards. I still go for the challenge though because it's fun and immersive.
  14. Naturally, if someone felt threatened or offended by the game because of its message, then they aren't going to like it. Infinite isn't Wolfenstein, but it clearly lays out a cultish groundwork extremists follow and tries to demonize it. Having that utopia in the clouds, the symbolism was brilliant. There were some things in the story I didn't understand. It's one of those that probably needs more than one play through. Infinite was a unique game, but I actually liked the first Bioshock more because it was scarier especially the medical complex. I love that stuff.
  15. bread and banana smoothie cottage cheese twinkie chips and water dip popcorn and koolaid cereal beans and skittles chili gum bread blue cheese cookies marshmallow and fish smores
  16. That's nothing new that he got angry the guy didn't drink when Bill offered, or forced. I've been so shit faced plenty of times and tried to drink with a million strangers. And I have to say, that it would really piss me off if they refused also because I would assume they act like their shit don't stink. So I think the game was spot on in that situation when he forced the guy to drink. Also, the village drunk is always teased and looked down on as if half human and would mate with a dog. But who knows? It might be just a case of drunkard discrimination. But since everything in a game or movie is added for a reason, then maybe the intention was to hint he is gay. Cause even if I forced someone to drink, I wouldn't share spit on the same bottle. So that probably is gay. Cause if you like someone you wouldn't care. LOL.
  17. If I could, I would for a bit. I've always wanted to go on a long road trip out west in the canyon country USA. From Colorado to California and maybe up the coast to Canada. But I could always rent a car and pitch a tent anywhere. Gotta watch out for the boogeyman though. I don't want to be in a severed head trophy case.
  18. That's the signing of the voter suppression bill in Georgia. That picture was a slave plantation. This is classic. At least they are wearing masks. Bravo.
  19. That just shows the parasites that humans are. To destroy the planet we live in and colonize another, then another, and leave a trail of death as we parasitize our homes spreading and taking all the resources without giving anything in return. Sounds exciting and all, but we are no better than a tapeworm swimming in shit. The rich are thinking of how to leave their eggs behind to carry on the parasitism.
  20. The autistic guy I gave my singing bowls to loved to play video games. This was the time before I was into gaming and still was drinking. But he was my neighbor for a short while. I would get drunk and watch him play his games. He was the one that introduced me to Assassin's Creed. At the time I didn't care for it and wondered why he liked the game so much. I remember I took him to an arcade, a very big one in Houston, for his birthday. He was a younger guy around 20 or so; the son of my neighbor's new girlfriend which I became friends with because I was taking care of their goats as he broke his hip. But it always seemed like they were pushing him off on me so they can be alone. And I didn't mind at all. We played the singing bowls often and he loved it. He didn't have a license and didn't even know how to drive, but I let him drive my truck to take me to the store to get more booze. No, I wasn't using him for that. He was a friend and it made him feel like a man when he was driving. His mother completely sheltered him from everything. He actually loved going outside. We got our bikes and rode around. We even got arrested for trespassing. LOL. Maybe I was a bad influence. But we were friends as we both needed one. 😀 I didn't know or care about much at the time. I didn't ask any questions about his condition. But I wonder if he felt that in games too about it seeming more real at times.
  21. You are right. They did that last election. They knew who was a registered democrat and sent them death threats to their home if they voted. They also sent phone messages lying to blacks and hispanics about all kinds of things so that they wouldn't go vote. Some of the perpetrators got arrested, but that was after thousands were already affected.
  22. "empowers state officials to take over local elections boards" That's one of the things in the bill that was passed. Yep, we should be seeing lots of trucks with shredder machines around election time.
