Do you adapt your play style to less skilled opponents?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Remind me to never cross your path! lol A weaker AI opponent I sometimes practice with or experiment with new skills, moves, potions, or counter attacks. I always suck at countering because I'm always attacking. -
Temporary followers you try to keep?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Only pets or beasts I can tame. Any other just flops around in my way. But I guess if you have a follower with benefits...that could be an exception. -
After a bit of struggle I'm finally here

I have the game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and haven't played it. You seem to really like this game. Is it a must for me to bust it out and play? It does have one of the largest open worlds. -

Plus the different repeatable missions like the prison one; you didn't get to the prison right? Freakin crazy. It's at least a 2 hour play to make it through. And that's if you survive. Don't even attempt without lots of ammo and explosives. But there really is a lot to do in the game. -

Aww man! I was hoping you would like Dying Light. Like many games, it does start out weird. I put the game down myself for a bit and started back into it. But as far as the ammo and weapons, I've explored a bunch to get tons of money which I was able to buy anything I wanted. And the stronger weapons don't break down as fast. And every pack of cigs you loot from zombies adds up to sell for a bunch. And crafting stronger weapons by finding blueprints helped too. Did you at least make it to Old Town? Because the map isn't that small when you add everything in. Give it another shot and explore more. I beg of you! 😉 -
Good companies should offer profit sharing. I think that is what @m76 is saying. I worked for a company that gave $5000 bonuses every Christmas through their profit sharing program. It’s not a hell of a lot, but that’s what companies need more of. That’s not socialism or trickle down; that’s just good investment in your employees regardless of political tax breaks or standard employee benefits or higher min wage.

I think dogs really do pick up on the vibe of their owner. My mom is crazy and screams like a maniac and never has learned to control her temper. She is very destructive. You can go ahead and call that white privilege because it is. She should have been locked up several times but as always gets the free pass. People like that don't learn. She has a little French Brittany Spaniel that is highly aggressive. She yaps at everyone to the point of harassment and bites people's ankles. People demonize pit bulls, but I say if there was ever any reason to put a dog down, then that little bitch dog is it. I always grew up around dogs and my mom did search and rescue using K-9. So crazy how a person who is supposed to understand the behavior of dogs, doesn't realize her own aggressiveness rubs off on them.

I don't think Valhalla is getting as much credit or ratings as the game deserves. I think that the standards are pretty high for the series and people forget that if you step outside the box and look at this game from a fresh view, then it easily is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful games made. The game has a more serious tone which I like. I'm just imagining living in a time like that where you might be at war with the village next door and plundering is survival. I'm growing very fond of the character Eivor and his journey, or my journey too! I'm enjoying everything. There was just a big update 3.00 for anyone playing the game.

House passes For The People Act which would stop all republican voting suppression. Now it needs to pass the Senate, but because of some filibuster chances are it might not pass. I don't understand the point of having the House majority and Senate majority for democrats when republicans can still block bills from being passed? When the republicans had the House and Senate majority they had no problems passing whatever they wanted.

Tedious things you do as a completionist
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I feel like I explore a bit much too. I'm trying to balance the times I explore every square inch, or simply wander. I get immersed more when I wander w/o crazily looking for items. I can always go back; but at this moment, I'm gonna take it all in as if I was there. -

I've had a hard time in that game trying to get a perfect hide. I know you need diff weapons for diff hides. I think I got only one perfect hide once; that was back in my gun slinging days. 😄 -
Cool! I've been playing The Following DLC. I have some unfinished quests in the main game I'll go and do too. I love the game. Have fun!!!

Holy S***! This game looks amazing. This is the kind of stuff I love! It's only PC right now. Why...why do this to me? Games like this make me want a PC for gaming. Damn...

Their gig is over. We see them for what and who those republicans are. They have been running on a term called PROJECTION. It's a psychology republican nazi playbook. It means that you accuse the opposition of doing something that those republicans actually do themselves. Everything that they accuse the democrats of, the republicans actually are the ones doing it. They think that if they claim it first, then it must be true. It's like don't cry wolf. If you keep saying something, then maybe when it actually is happening then maybe the public won't believe it. Spread conspiracy after conspiracy to confuse the public into thinking that both sides are just lying. Yes, there are two sides to the story. But the proof is here in our faces which side is in the wrong. My sis has a trump loving boyfriend and they came over recently. I mentioned that republicans were suppressing the people's votes by trying to pass laws to make it harder. The guy says that is what the dems are doing!!! WTF; I cut our greeting short at that. But I simply sent my sis news info about bills the republicans are passing and Biden's bill trying to get passed to protect voting. So, the info is right there. The actions of republicans and dems are right there in the bills they are trying to pass. So, this isn't a whose side is right. This is blatant right vs wrong. If a person is too dumb to see it; shame on them. And we go down in war together. Win or lose.

Have you ever wondered.....Am I the only one?

I'm scratching myself too. The thing is, is that those popular games actually are good once you get into them. But, we have different tastes and different needs to please our gaming entertainment. I've got GTA 4 and 5; played the beginning of both. Thought it was cool, then got hooked on something more pleasurable that I like to play. MGS 5 I thought was cool, but the military genre just doesn't keep me thinking about it while falling asleep. Don't beat yourself up for not liking popular things. For myself, it seems I have jumped all over the place to try every genre, but I know what I like now. Eventually I want to sit down and enjoy GTA, but I'm sure there will be a GTA 6 out by then. My dumbass will start at GTA 4 thinking I'm gonna play them all, then I'll get tired of the GTA 4 and forget about GTA 6 while I found something else to play that came along. That has been my life since I flopped out of my mom's p^^^^ -
Assassin's Creed Tribute
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
They are all remastered except for the very first game. I have the Ezio Collection on ps4 which is the remaster of AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations with all DLC. AC3, Black Flag, and any other that came out on ps3 is remastered for the ps4. I don't know about Xbox. A remake of the 1st or 2nd game would be pretty cool. But they already have major plans for new material that I am even more excited about for 2022. -
I got Skyrim in the mail today. Is the game in 1st person the whole time? Does characterization builds matter? I see that each race has its unique properties, but which is best to go with? Which do you prefer? Any bad playing experience with any of the races? I was about to go with the Dark Elf since I read a lot of books with them. But I'm not sure.

We need to crack down on terrorism. This is how the country treats white ISIS that attacked the capital: --FBI contacts man on phone. Can you come turn yourself in? Man makes an appointment in a couple days to turn himself in. Gives him time to destroy evidence. --Woman asks court if she can travel to Mexico because she had a vacation planned and they let her. --Vegan man in jail refuses to eat jail food because it isn't vegan. They consider giving him vegan food. --Man complains there are roaches in his cell. --Woman wants to reschedule court because her wedding ring is stuck. --Man wants to move his court hearing to another city because the city is too liberal where his court is. --Man flees from cops, arrested, then court gives him bail for a no flight risk. --Woman who stole laptop tried to sell to Russian friend gets bail for no flight risk and stays with momma. --Man complains in court that this isn't fair. --Independent group identifies man on camera who attacked police and reported to FBI, who even had a wanted poster. FBI never went after him. Only in the USA you can commit acts of terrorism and be treated with respect.

Assassin's Creed Tribute
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
There is news or leaks I guess we would call it, that the next Assassin's Creed is going to be Japan. I've also heard China, but they are going to put out comics relating to their next game, which the comics have Mongols. So that could be either a China or Japan setting. I know we already have Ghost of Tsushima in a Japan setting, but this could very well be Assassin creed's ultimate opportunity to display a most prestigious assassin-that of a ninja. But it won't be till 2022 probably. What do you think? -

The road to war is here. One party is for democracy and the other are fascist nazis/klan/confederates. Any future republican president is the fall of democracy. We have seen that their party does not hold their party accountable at all for breaking any law. They have set their standard and let their future candidates know that they can get away with anything. It's all in the name of racism. They aren't a party anymore. They are white supremacists actively working against this country and everything it stands for. I've been reading this on the news too how they are doing everything they can across the country to make it difficult to vote in black and brown and liberal communities; Biden is trying to pass an election bill, but I don't know how that will work with states being able to do whatever. It's gonna get real ugly. And as I mentioned and repeat a billion times over, any future republican president is the fall of the USA into tyranny or civil war. The problem with democrats and republicans is that republicans can act out in any way they want because they have absolutely nothing to lose. What do they lose in an election? The USA stays a democracy. If democrats lose, we lose 245 years of democracy and our civil liberties. So in that sense, republicans will continue to get worse because there is no threat to hold them in check. They will say whatever, do whatever, and believe in whatever. Because if they lose in their attempt for a dictatorship, then they simply fall back on the democrats upholding democracy. republicans are those spoiled brat children who are never punished by their parents. Democrats are the parents. We need to teach them a hard lesson.
