  1. I keep changing my mind if I want new pets or not. My animals are aging and I honestly don't think it's safe to be a pet owner in my country when it is so hostile and in a state of uncertainty. Something we never think about is what if your country falls into war or invaded, or imprisoned for speaking aloud. What happens to your pets? People in Ukraine had to leave their pets behind to get on buses. With all the uncertainty, I don't want to have to face leaving loved ones behind.
  2. I'm with you on Skyrim. Witcher 3 almost lost me too at the early stages because it was so overwhelming with all the potions, gear you have to keep up with. Cyberpunk 2077 by that same developer has done the exact same thing to me in the early stages where I feel overwhelmed and I completely stopped playing it now. Not a bad game at all; it's actually pretty good. But geez, damn, wtf, ......... every free second I have I get new alerts and new contacts. Leave me the hell alone and let me explore. That developer loves to overwhelm.
  3. What kind of exclusive would they make that compares to a game like TLOU for Sony? It would have to be the best game around for me to want to get an Xbox for that exclusive.
  4. I have to say that there is something very important to note with the animus storyline that has evolved into something pretty great in the latest games, even though they do show less of it. I agree the whole animus was a little confusing in past AC games, which I think most of the hate comes from. But through the whole series, that present day story with the animus is the backbone of everything. And you really don't get how meaningful it really is until you break away from the past series into a more mythical series. I'll explain best I can w/o spoilers. Most of the early Creed series is around Renaissance Italy (1400-1500's) then later events in 1700-1800's. The latest games take place from 400's BCE - 800's CE. So what is that significance? During the earlier time was the age of polytheism and later centuries was monotheism. So the animus story and ISU really adds a lot of brilliance to the plot when taking in the consideration of Gods, ISU, and modern technology. Origins wouldn't be the same w/o it; Odyssey wouldn't be the same w/o it, and Valhalla wouldn't be the same w/o it. I think that those that don't like the animus in older AC games have justification for not liking it, but need a re-evaluation in the newer games to understand its importance. How they link it all up is amazing and mind blowing.
  5. I agree. How do you really determine who wins pageants or other talents? Seems like it's just a voting based win where popularity is key, not really who is the better. And judges are humans with their own personal biases. It's hard to separate a judge from a jury when determining who wins. Because any bad apple in the process throws it all out the window. And if there is ever some kind of disaster in their home country, they most likely will get the sympathy judge. So I personally believe favoritism wins over actual talent in pageants.
  6. I love it when people draw you into something serious, then twist the whole thing up condemning your mind forever.
  7. I hope they can expand on that and bring in resources and talent to make a nice headquarters for video games in Africa. And when they become successful, more will join in adding even more resources. This was a smart move to help jump start African gaming. And they only recently formed the gaming group so they have entered a new age in the gaming arena.
  8. They had an update which fixed my problem with being able to fast travel on my save files. But now Reda's Shop doesn't work. Anyone else have problems with Reda's Shop? I can do quests to earn opals, but I can't access Reda's daily/weekly items to spend any opals. Others are having this problem too I read on Ubisoft forum. Last reply was a month ago, so I guess it's not going to get fixed. What a bummer for that game. I know it's just a bonus feature to get stuff from the shop, but that just finalizes my hate for the game. As far as I know everything else works for now, till the next update screws something up again. They have updates like every month. They really need to stop. I should have bought this game 3 years old.
  9. What's an example of a game made with emphasis on current or past issues? Maybe then we can see if your theory holds up.
  10. I would tell my friend because that is a betrayal. There is a short window though. If you don't tell your friend right away, then it will get more and more awkward as time passes. And when you finally do tell, your friend will end up hating you too for not telling them sooner.
  11. Hopefully my pants won't be on!!! Just a pile on the floor. As long as I don't step on it getting out of bed.
  12. LOL Beer and piss, the cologne for men. If you wake up wet, not knowing if its beer, piss, or throw up, SEEK HELP!!! 🤣🤣🤣
  13. Nigeria could see a major boom in the gaming industry. They have a large increase in mobile phone sales giving them more internet access. Unfortunately, I see most of the potential gaming in the form of mobile games and esports where they will get exploited no doubt. https://www.blueprint.ng/is-the-video-game-industry-in-nigeria-about-to-explode/
  14. Interesting fact is that the African continent has the highest population in the world of people that are under 25, which makes it the youngest continent with 60% of the population under 25. Think about that in terms of a gaming market. The Pan African Gaming Group has brought together 10 gaming studios from different African countries under one group in order to strengthen the market. https://venturebeat.com/2022/02/23/pan-africa-gaming-group-aims-to-bring-a-billion-new-players-to-gaming/
  15. You suck! 😆 Might be for the best though. Just build a stockpile of nukes and set off a million nukes at once.
  16. Wet hands first to lather the soap. That's kinda weird to put soap in dry hands. Maybe a squirt bottle of liquid soap, but not bar soap. Nothing like trying to roll around a dry bar in dry hands. 🤗
  17. I would make sure every person in the world has food to eat. Some may call that socialism, but I call it just letting people eat. It's better than starving everybody because of greedy pricks. I'd tackle food distribution and take a look at worldwide food/seed supplies, agriculture, impacts of industry and global warming, bee population and pollinators, crop diseases. I would do something different about livestock and not allow inhumane conditions for meat production. I would take a look at the water supply, soil contaminants, fish population and reefs. I pretty much would develop a better self sustaining worldwide food supply and every industry out there will comply to my better health and safety standards. No lobbying or any of that crap would exist that tries to interfere with progress. Self sustaining food supply would be mandatory everywhere in all communities. I would do everything I can to provide healthy food for all and destroy the obesity and diabetes epidemics.
  18. Game+ is always a nice bonus. Something all games should have as standard.
  19. It's available for Xbox X and S but not ps4. Those muthas. I sure did enjoy the first one.
  20. Andy Fletcher from Depeche Mode passed away. Depeche Mode is my favorite band and I have listened to them for 25 years. They have made music for 40 years and more! They are legendary. Andy was the keyboardist, which I say they are the foundation and beginnings of industrial music like what we would hear from old school NIN. I will post a tribute soon in music.
