What games would you like to see “remakes” of like TLOU?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
But what is it that makes TLOU remake special? I obviously love the series and no doubt will buy the remake, but that's basing it on 2 previous masterpieces. I'm not sold that its such a grand remake considering the original was already a GOTY and near perfection. I'm excited about Saints Row remake since the first game was an Xbox 360 exclusive and the rest of the series was made for the 360/ps3 generations. So this August will be a very exciting remake of one of the most fun series I've played. There isn't a set release date for Layers of Fears, but recently found out about it. I can't really call it a remake, but in a way it is. This is the first I've heard of a developer combining a non continuity series into one game. Only brilliance can pull this off which if any developer can then its gotta be Bloober Team. Basically they are layering 2 series and a DLC into a single game. They will probably add new stuff too; I have to stay informed of updates on that. Assassin's Creed titles from 1-4 all need remakes using a lot of the same innovations from modern AC games like flying around an eagle all around Italy or the Caribbean. As well as upgraded scenery, fighting, gameplay, taming animals etc. PLEASE REMAKE!!! -

Thanks! I'm a rough in the diamond! 😆 -
Did you meet her in school? 😂 It's all good. Many cultures around the world age differently when they are older. More often than not older women look half their age in Asia, Africa, and Middle East. Not in my country USA. It's the opposite. 30 year old women look 60. Breaking a hip is the new menopause.

Would you rather make a phone call or send a text?
Reality vs Adventure replied to DC's topic in General Chat
I prefer text because with my experiences people on the phone usually talk a lot, plus it’s even worse when they are under the influence of alcohol which all my friends and family are all drunks. My Italian grandma literally never stops to take a breath before jumping into another conversation. What can I do except set the phone down and go about my business. 15 min later she’s still blabbering and never knew I was gone. Lol. At least with texts we can respond whenever we want. I literally never answer calls anymore. Only check voicemail. I also get headaches if I talk on the phone too long. And I hate listening to people eat over the phone. It’s disgusting. -
Mario was first called Jumpman in Donkey Kong where Mario's pet gorilla escaped and took Jumpman's girlfriend Pauline as hostage. Mario breaks up with Pauline and falls in love with Princess Peach. Then it gets confusing, or I'm confused because supposedly Princess Daisy is related to Princess Peach and Mario supposedly marries Daisy, but at the same time Luigi loves Daisy???

What would you want from a TLOU III game?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It would be interesting if TLOU did a tie in with Days Gone since TLOU2 took place in Seattle and Days Gone took place in Oregon. Both are Sony exclusives. It'll never happen, but I think it's a pretty good idea maybe as a DLC. I really don't know what I would want from a TLOU3. If they find a cure then that's obviously the end of the series. As far as locations, they have covered everything from cities to suburbs, apartments, hospitals, country, coast, and everything in between. They could give us an idea how the apocalypse is across the globe somewhere in old country and have them cross paths to survivors in the states. You could have an aircraft carrier still in commission or something like that to be able to connect continents. Or even a creepy barge. But I think a carrier/destroyer would bring some wild action as to merge continents. -
What Unreleased Game Are You Most Excited About?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It's a brilliant psychological horror. There is no fighting and no weapons. It does have jump scares and the atmosphere is psychedelic. It's full of suspense. The series is not related to each other so I'm really curious how they are going to combine them in a single game. It's one of my favorite horror games of all time and honestly the most brilliant game I've ever played. It has to be respected psychologically and not expect blood and guts and hack n slash cause there is none of that. It's something you have to pay attention to and think. -
What Unreleased Game Are You Most Excited About?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Looks like it's going to encompass Layers of Fear 1, 2, and Inheritance and somehow make a chronicle in one game and that's why they have Fears as plural. I think this is the first time a developer attempts this instead of remastering both 1 and 2. Interesting approach!!! -
AC3 and Black Flag or any other AC game before Origins is not even what this topic is about. The historical Discovery Tour is only available in Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. And if you want the full experience playing those games then as mentioned, the Discovery Tour helps give those games an educational experience while playing.
-
No doubt when you get the chance it's worth it to keep this in mind if you ever start a new AC game. I remember Valhalla DT had a different format. I didn't get far into it, but the DT actually had a separate story while you play the tour mode. No fighting or anything, but there was actually a story.
-
The last three Assassin's Creed games: Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla each have a separate Discovery Tour gameplay option. The Discovery Tour is fact based history that helps guide you to learn about culture, religion, people, and places. On the main title screen instead of playing the main game, click on DT to learn more. What it is, is the same entire map but with icons you can fast travel to and have a guided tour explain history of that location. There is no fighting or anything, but you can still climb on everything and explore using all sorts of different characters you can play which unlocks. In the main game, when you arrive at a new location, check the Discovery Tour to see if there is some history you can learn about first before progressing more in the game. That way you can play region by region or city by city and learn what you can. For example, I've started a new game for AC Origins. I've come to the city of Alexandria and did a few quests and explored a bit. Then I exited the main game and checked the DT which had around 10 or so tours for the city of Alexandria learning about the pharos, battles, Gods, art, education and philosophy, etc. which is spread around the city. Then when I've completed those, I went back to the main game and traveled to another region where I checked again Discovery Tours there and found history on fauna, animals, agriculture, beer making, etc. And now I'm ready to move on to the pyramids where there are tons of history tours there. Playing this way has enriched my gameplay. I've learned a great deal and it's just amazing. Many people who play those games really don't appreciate the historical aspect of it. So that's why I've made this topic as the best way to play these games. This literally can be taught in schools if there was even more focus on history. Cause like I said, the tour allows you to traverse the same map as in regular gameplay and you can fly your eagle around and soak it all up and go into forts and absolutely everywhere w/o worrying about getting attacked.

What Unreleased Game Are You Most Excited About?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm excited about that game too. Holy smokes!!! There's a Layers of Fears??? I looked that up just now. This is the first I've ever heard of it from your post. WOW!!! Can't wait -
You can't claim the other party is abusing power for closing an argument when even now you claim you are the right one and she is wrong. Isn't that subject to an end of conversation? Which she obviously tried to do. It doesn't help with the insults now. You say you are right, and probably would shut her down if you had the chance like you are trying to discredit the only way you can now. So don't act like you are better, cause you just proved you only see one way and obviously you are willing to carry on a conversation that should have been dead in the water if only you swallowed your pride and moved on when given the chance.
-
She has the right to end a discussion that is getting nowhere. That also is her responsibility.
-
No, you can argue all you want with whoever. I'm offended because you are trying to disregard the argument on the basis of your opponent being a mod as if that has any factor. Like I said, history does matter and if you knew her you would know she would say it like it is way before being a mod. You are foolish for using that excuse.
-
And that’s where you faltered. You think it’s all a game. Don’t disrespect those that have been here long before you. I learned that too thinking I’m tough shit. I was given the opportunity to stay here and you shouldn’t disrespect these mods or I’ll personally subject you to embarrassment. Debate me anything you want. Post it in debates so I can tear you another asshole.

Ancient Gods
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Debate, Politics, & Religion
What is the God of balance? I want to kneel to balance. Anubis measures the feather and heart. But that is after life. What God guides us in present life for balance? Strictly balance. There has to be one. Cause I feel the society I live in is in a yo-yo effect. Gods guide us. If the Gods of war control the narrative forcing balance, then there must not exist a God of balance because war offsets balance. -
If it’s important to your gameplay then by all means spend the money if it won’t hurt you. eBay is a reputable place and if you buy there make sure you have warranty. Sony offers manufacture warranties so look up to see how long you are covered. eBay offers warranties, but why pay for one through eBay if the manufacturer covers it. The longest warranty I’ve seen through eBay is 3 years and find out if the manufacturer warranty lasts longer. If you make a purchase through eBay then look at their feedback and history as a seller. Look at other items they sell. If things look generic or used, pass it up. Only buy new for ps5 as the manufacturer warranty only covers new. Putting items on a credit card is always the first step to bad credit. eBay actually offers credit through eBay only. First timers may get an offer. Look that up. And they offer payment plans if shown on your buying page of item. If you are a regular ebay user, they offer randomly at different times a discount and eBay bucks. Look that up. I’m in your boat. I want a ps5 too but 750 is too much. It’s not reasonable. So spoil yourself if you want. We deserve it sometimes. Don’t put yourself in a hole.

You are right, he looks funny while running. There is no movement except his feet tottering across the ice. The background looks empty and blurry which kind of makes it seem less awe inspiring. I imagine an open world Sonic to be full of life and color. I watched the beginning clip of some of the gameplay so that might not be the best representation of the game, and I'm not sold on it if it was. Being up high in altitude like that, I expect a lot more to look at. Those are my thoughts.

What are your favourite indie games of all-time?
Reality vs Adventure replied to DylanC's topic in Gaming Forum
There really isn't any commonality in Indie games where it's easy to distinguish from bigger titles. I had to do a search to see what games I've played and really liked that are Indie. My top ones that I found are Indie are Layers of Fear, The Walking Dead, and Mad Max. The Walking Dead has a really traumatic story. Layers of Fear is highly creative and Bloober Team is hands down brilliant. I want to play all their games. Mad Max is an underrated game which I've found to be pretty fun. I think Volition is an Indie developer so correct me if I'm wrong. But the Saints Row series is max fun that will make grandmas do flips. -
You gotta catch em just right when they are next to a wall and blast their head print onto the wall. I love seeing the canvas of blood come alive against the walls as gravity oozes it to the ground.

Worst retcons in video game history?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Would that be in the same series only or could it be an entirely different game with a different take on the lore if there is a relation to it? -
What are things you'd do in VR if it was possible?
Reality vs Adventure replied to Kane99's topic in Virtual Reality
The shrooms or travel? 😄 I guess some things can't really be replaced, but would be nice if it could come close. -

Wouldn't you want to float around on a raft with this view? Without all the people of course. Or set a campfire, pop some shrooms and bang the drums right on the cliff.
