Most evil characters in video games?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'd have to go with Stefano in Evil Within 2. He brutalized and killed victims to display as art and wanted to control the world so he could keep doing it. -
Last thing this world needs is another nazi sympathizer and Russia lover being president of France and a leader of the free world. I'm glad Macron was reelected or else France would be going down the drain with kookoo Le Pen. I guess every election in the democratic world faces a fascist crisis. But at least they aren't trying to overthrow elections. Congrats again to democracy and free elections. Such a nicer world without fascists.

I got the season pass and the characters you get are pretty amazing and have fun abilities. Beware though, if you play on permadeath and the prestige characters die, they die for good just like the rest. I've already lost two of the four season pass characters. Only way you get them back is starting a new game or play with permadeath off. It just makes it that much more exciting though to play with permadeath on. The 4 characters are Wrench-my favorite, Pierce, Mina, and the assassin Darcy which unlocks after playing the assassin creed tie in missions. Even if they die, you still keep their outfits for other characters, but not the abilities. But if you do get it, then don't neglect looking for other recruits because you never know what you can find in the world. For me it's worth it, but it's your decision to weigh the money's worth. I've found myself spending a lot of time playing the other characters I recruited. Since I've already lost Wrench and Mina on permadeath, it just damn sucks and pisses me off, but I'm continuing on in the missions and have learned to cut the loss.

Well, the attack on dictionaries is already here!!! Say anything stupid and I guarantee a right wing terrorist will run with it LOL. A man is arrested for threatening to shoot up and bomb Marriam-Webster headquarters for gender identity definitions in their dictionary. He also sent messages of hate toward the LGBTQ community. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2022/04/23/feds-man-threatened-merriam-webster-bombing/7423063001/ We can expect dictionaries to get banned in schools. You heard it here first!!!

Game Cover Art. The Good, The Bad and the F***ing Ugly!
Reality vs Adventure replied to Shagger's topic in Gaming Forum
Kid Chameleon; what kid wouldn't want to play a game with this cover? Kingdom Hearts is just cool looking. The Suffering has a catchy title and who wouldn't look twice seeing a guy get burned in a chair? -
Call of Duty Vanguard The picture quality is excellent and I'm really liking the game

Game Cover Art. The Good, The Bad and the F***ing Ugly!
Reality vs Adventure replied to Shagger's topic in Gaming Forum
Those are some cool ones. What is there not to like about that Street Fighter 2 art? Blanka's face is right in the center and if all you saw was his face, it would tell all. Doom has that red Mars color and I like how they added that bit of green brain splatter and the one in the front turned around looking at us is creepy. I can see how The Walking Dead may have inspired that. I had no idea The Walking Dead comic was out in 1989 by Aircel. Warhammer I have a hard time seeing what's going on there because of the colors I think. I just know I wouldn't want to try to break up that fight. Here are some of my pics for the moment. I have always enjoyed the cover art of Days Gone and something about it just screams to me as a favorite. He's just chilling by his bike, his lifeline pretty much. And all that chaos on the horizon, he's just like 'shit I'm ready, let's do this.' It's a beautiful place and can't I have just one moment to enjoy it? Next one I've always liked is Dr Muto. I have a fascination with science stuff and this is classic weird science!!! The Simpson's Hit and Run screams chaotic fun!!! That's the art Grand Theft Auto should look like. 😄 Now for the BAD Sorry Resident Evil fans. Great series and all, but all the cover art is super basic!!! It doesn't really say much Resident Evil 8: To me it looks like a face of pain. Is it horror? War? Drama? Psychotic breakdown? Resident Evil 7: It's scary looking house. How many times have we seen a pic of a scary house? It does look creepy, but it doesn't give an essence of a gaming environment. More like, you walk into a house and then what? Resident Evil 6: That doesn't really look scary to me and looks more like a band of mercenaries going to fight terrorists. Resident Evil 5: They didn't even try with that one -
Voodoo Ranger is good, and I remember there being a few different flavors in the IPA canned beers that's usually in local grocery stores. Those in the can were excellent but I can't remember the name of the flavors. It's been a few years since I've shopped for it due to abstaining from that section of the store. Worth the try to see which you like. They are all strong too.

The Lesser of Two Evils
Reality vs Adventure replied to Jayson's topic in Debate, Politics, & Religion
This is an extremely stupid debate to be had. Both fascism and communism have had genocides. End of fucking story. Communism is an economic way of governing that gets exploited and fascism is totalitarian way of governing with its roots in racism and nationalism. -
IPA beers are pretty good. They usually have several different flavors in stores.
-
Once you progress a bit in the story and get to other parts of the map that unlocks, and not worry so much about all the potions and crap, then it'll get its hooks into you.
-
Hey y'all we fixing to go to the store How's that for bad grammar; it's common around these here parts...

That’s an interesting take on that. You could be somewhat right but for others the summer can be excruciating and wipe out a persons energy levels while they have higher energy in the winter. Because if you are at 100 degrees with 97% humidity, no sane human will hop skippidy with all smiles unless you’re a mad clown from hell.

Xbox Play Anywhere is a good deal to play a digital game on either the Xbox or PC. Seems like a great deal if you own both already, but to me it seems like why even bother buying both in regards to future purchases. Wouldn't it make more sense to own one Microsoft product and a Sony console to have games from both worlds? Or even a Switch instead of two Microsoft products that can play the same games. I actually think Microsoft shot themselves in the foot with that idea and decrease sales because why would I go and buy a gaming computer, then buy an Xbox? Isn't that absurd for the common consumer? PC has more games than the Xbox, but you can't play all PC games on the console. You can however, play all Xbox games on PC. So why buy both?

This situation with Elon Musk goes deeper and deeper. Musk used the same tactics on Tesla as he is now doing with Twitter. Tesla shareholders is suing Musk as well as the Securities and Exchange Commission is suing him for fraud due to tweets in 2018 where he said he want to buy off Tesla and make it private. Tesla is saying that Musk's tweets were fraudulent about buying Tesla because it costed the company billions of dollars while Musk kept toying with the stock market of the company as exactly what he's doing now with Twitter. Musk was ordered by the SEC to step down from chairman of the company but can continue to be CEO. Tesla is also being investigated in California for racial discrimination while Musk is CEO. These articles explain pretty well how Musk is a fraud that is scheming against company stocks and shareholders. https://time.com/6168452/elon-musk-should-have-been-stopped-long-before-he-came-for-twitter/ https://fortune.com/2022/04/16/musk-being-sued-by-tesla-investors-for-tweeting-takeover-bid-they-say-judge-agrees/

Silent Hill may be getting revived by Bloober Team...
Reality vs Adventure replied to Knight Plug's topic in Gaming News
We are in for a treat if Bloober Team gets in on this. They are a brilliant psychological horror developer. I would be extremely excited if this is a certain thing. -
Isn't this the gateway to NFT's? It's also on the same path as augmented reality where you can scan your environment and interact with it in a virtual world. As long as you don't try selling and trading it, and getting it all mixed up in the gaming world then it would be interesting to add what you want in games for your own personal experience. I would have my pet as a sidekick in a game. And even after they pass, I can still be there with them in the game world. That would be amazing!!!

Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida who just banned math books in schools and banned talk of gender identity and sexual orientation in schools, and banned history and talk of race in schools, is now abusing his power and threatening to punish Twitter over their poison pill against Elon Musk because he believes republicans don't get free speech. He just called Twitter enforcing 'orthodoxy' and is a 'regime.' Yeah, the hypocrisy is deep there. This sounds all too familiar to some of us who witness right wingers go on attacks then try to claim to be a victim and have no free speech. The state of Florida holds a state pension fund with almost a million shares in Twitter. I don't know exactly how DeSantis will try to punish Twitter, but using your seat of government to poltically punish a corporation is an abuse of power. Meanwhile DeSantis is also abusing his power for going after Disney and trying to punish them financially for criticizing his anti LGBTQ bills.

Sega might be next in NFTs, but they're looking into it first
Reality vs Adventure replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I think this is more about developers and publishers trying to put some value into their art and have it traded like trading cards. The difference in physical trading cards is it's value goes up if the card stays in mint condition over time. You don't have to worry about that in NFT as much because the digital value hardly changes with age, so the price won't increase much. Not until at least we have a new format in computers that has better digital quality. But those old digital NFT's will eventually become irrelevant, especially when games get remastered. A physical trading card even with slight fading over decades, will continue to increase in value. A digital card or NFT won't. Nobody is going to care about an outdated NFT. I've got a physical trading card collection myself. Would I ever buy a digital one? No because I see absolutely no value in it over time. Art is art, so the NFT market can be considered the new art collecting venture. To me it's like owning a rare silver round, only digitally on the internet. Sorry, but I'd rather own that in person. When it comes to our gaming experience, we can do without pressuring us to buy something that simply should stay as part of gaming like gear for characters, and not treated as a gamble where you can't enjoy any gear w/o buying into NFT. I can see how using the photo mode and capturing cool pics can be used as your own digital art and be a part of digital art shows or maybe even owning that sort of NFT outside the arena of gaming. But developers will put in place copyrights to own any pic you take in photo mode, so that becomes nothing especially as mentioned earlier when games get remastered. -
The last Tomb Raider I played was the 25th anniversary which I thought they had too much of trying to get supplies for crafting on top of everything else you have to find. If you go that route you might as well make it open world. I doubt they would open world this new one. I like Tomb Raider, but I just hope they don't try to complicate the gaming experience more than they have to. I hope they bring more stealth into the game and not open shooting all the time. They tried that with the 25th anniversary which I liked, but still the controls were weird. And a lot of times they ended up throwing stealth out the window.

Republicans are going to have to revise the English dictionary because many words come from Latin. Plus, they will have to delete or edit words relating to race and gender in public schools. Cant have dictionaries in the libraries or classrooms that teach CRT. It’s no wonder math books are getting banned because written math came from Egypt, Greece, India and other foreign places. Written math language from other countries should be prohibited right? Those symbols could be a conspiracy to teach critical race theory.

Like he said; what's next-ban physical education? Are they going to get rid of exercises that a black person created? They gonna start banning music classes? Ban songs and instruments that a black person created? Ban art classes? Ban black ink pens and only use blue ink? Let's see how stupid Florida gets with this. They can only use one math book publisher now for K-5 grades. It's only a matter of time before they attack science books too and revise them to include the great flood and ban evolution and scientific experiments. Definitely wouldn't want to learn about science from a Jew. No way they can have that. Florida is a lost case. Businesses should think about leaving the state and set up in a more friendly and intelligent environment.
