  1. And let's not forget that Elon Musk is the same madman under investigation for torturing monkeys in experiments. Therefore he deserves to have his legacy smeared in shit. https://voi.id/en/technology/134440/because-of-experiments-on-monkeys-elon-musk-gets-in-trouble Want this guy owning Twitter?
  2. It really does look more and more like a hostile takeover attempt of Twitter. Musk just threatened to cut Twitter board member salaries to $0 if he buys Twitter; and the poison pill plan that lowered the price of shares to other shareholders, Musk said that he would try to buy the stock directly from the shareholders to try and prevent the board members from not selling Twitter to him. At this point, for one of the richest men in the world to be this adamant for controlling Twitter and engaging in a bickering contest to woo republicans is nothing short of an attempt to corrupt a major social media platform.
  3. It's best to pay more attention to the world out there at times. Hope things are getting better or easier to deal with.
  4. When I first posted this it was at around 164,000 signatures and a month in a half later I just checked and it's now at 166,840. Looks to be around 2,000 signatures a month. It's going to take years to be where it needs to be.
  5. I don’t know how many signatures it would take for Sony to notice. Few hundred thousand? Couple million? I think with the TLOU remake, Sony has no interest in Days Gone 2 right now cause that game to me is very similar to TLOU. And both are Sony exclusives. But at least the petition will give them a heads up that there are fans that want a second one.
  6. That's what humans do though. We are obsessed with creating. We want power and innovation to make lives easier at the expense of natural existence itself. Gaming is the forefront of man's innovation now as we enter the stage of wiring our own cells to that of technology to become one. ahhh hahahha "We're all mad here"
  7. If you think about it, all of us are nothing but a bunch of cells responding to our environment. Cells group together in function forming tissue, then organs, and all work together forming a system. All of our senses are taken in by receptor cells which relay messages to the brain through electricity of cells. The brain processes information through its network of cells. Parts of the brain has a memory center which again is cells. That is no different from immune system cells that have memory to know how to combat foreign substances in order to protect the system. It wouldn't make a difference to have robotic limbs as long as the electricity of cells can trigger movement of special conductors in mechanical parts. As far as organs, only time can tell which of those can be replaced with robotic parts. Hearts can. Maybe eyeballs. You will hear a bit of buzzing sound every time the eye ball moves. Maybe you can set it on auto to have the eyeball follow you around. You can be in a board meeting with a bunch of cyborgs and they can sit there with their heads still and their eyeballs moving around. Creepy. Isn't that what humans do anyways? So basically, it's cells that respond to the world. It's not much different than us on here with electronics conducting functions and taking in signals from a satellite. I don't know exactly how internet works. But it seems like magic to me, but it's simply signals and conducting electricity. On an even larger scale, Earth may be on its way to be a cybernetic planet. Man will eventually discover ways to control weather, maybe replace the ozone with some sort of mechanical operation; control light from the sun; mechanical dams and river flow; robotic pollinating bees; etc.
  8. I find it interesting that a far right wing commentator and conspiracy theorist named Dinesh D'Souza was trying to get Elon Musk to buy up a major social media platform in order to 'dramatically change the political and cultural landscape,' he wrote on Twitter. Dinesh D'Souza said this on Twitter Jan 28 2022: Tweets are fine @elonmusk but you can dramatically change the political and cultural landscape this way: 1. Buy and take over a major social media platform 2. Acquire or create a TV network like ABC, NBC or CBS 3. Create a world-class online university and offer degrees for free. And Elon Musk replies on Twitter: "Interesting ideas." https://www.techtimes.com/articles/271177/20220128/will-elon-musk-buy-social-media-create-tv-station-establish-school.htm Elon Musk seems to have taken the republican side of things. Maybe he's looking for a quick cash grab. Maybe his narcissism is setting in as he ages, maybe he's turned rogue; who knows why someone like that would want social media. But D'Souza's idea for Musk buying up a social media giant, TV network, and online university is a good enough reason for all of us to be concerned what is going on here. Twitter is at the forefront of corrupt rich entities wanting to take it over. And Twitter realizes that and that's why they are putting forth the poison pill strategy to prevent hostile takeover. Dinesh D'Souza also said this on Jan 3 2022 on Twitter: "Elon Musk can afford to buy Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Imagine if he did it and systematically censored Democrats and leftists. “We’re being silenced! Silenced!” The shrieks would be audible for miles. How speedily the other side would discover the imperative of free speech!" FYI, Dinesh D'Souza also plead guilty for violating campaign finance laws and went to prison till Trump pardoned him. This same guy is advocating for Elon Musk to take over Twitter. It wouldn't sound like much if he was just blabbering on his shows, but the fact that Elon Musk is listening to him is scary.
  9. Republicans in Milwaukee are trying to break up public schools into smaller districts so they can appoint their own board members and give vouchers to students to persuade them to go to private or charter schools. These vouchers are public money for public schools that republicans are using to break up public schools and try to get all kids into their cult like private schools. The democratic governor in Milwaukee vetoed that bill, but republicans are still trying to push it. You see; republicans want to DESTROY public schools!!! That is their plan! Break them down, appoint their own board members, and direct public money away from public schools and provide those funds for charter and private schools. Charter schools are their golden gateway to private schools because charter schools can have public funding but be privately owned. And once republicans get everything privately owned like schools and media, then that's when they will openly salute nazi flags and nobody can tell them they can't because that's their freedom of speech and the parents support it. Basically, public schools will be broke and segregated, and teachers will have even worse laws to abide by teaching and eventually face jail. You will see I'm right as every post I make we see things getting worse and worse.
  10. Yeah you are right. My concern now is how many corporations a person or group can be a top shareholder in. Because top shareholders have the most sway in the company basically giving them decision making power. Do we want just a handful of people or groups to control it all? Plus, social media to me is a unique type of company that we should be concerned about who gets control of its operations, especially now in this hostile climate.
  11. Here's an update to the republican 'book burning' or book banning status: PEN America has put together an Index of School Book Bans from July 2021 to end of March 2022. During that period republicans have banned 1,586 books. "The Index lists bans on 1,145 titles by 874 different authors, 198 illustrators, and 9 translators, impacting the literary, scholarly, and creative work of 1,081 people altogether." "The Index lists book bans that have occurred in 86 school districts in 26 states. These districts represent 2,899 schools with a combined enrollment of over 2 million students." https://pen.org/banned-in-the-usa/ PEN America, founded in 1922, was put in place to help protect literature and freedom of expression. "PEN America is the largest of the more than 100 centers worldwide that make up the PEN International network. PEN America works to ensure that people everywhere have the freedom to create literature, to convey information and ideas, to express their views, and to access the views, ideas, and literatures of others." https://pen.org/about-us/ Here's the Index of School Book Bans from July 2021-March 31 2022 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hTs_PB7KuTMBtNMESFEGuK-0abzhNxVv4tgpI5-iKe8/edit#gid=660619424 And most of these books are all written by 'marginalized authors.' "Most books being targeted for censorship are books that introduce ideas about diversity or our common humanity, books that teach children to recognize and respect humanity in one another,” said the chair of the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, Rep. Jamie Raskin." https://www.yahoo.com/now/more-1-500-books-banned-120100141.html New York Public Library is now offering all those banned books free to check out. Republicans have embraced fascism and we are heading into 1930's Germany in 2020's America.
  12. I listen to everything too even music in different languages. Im not big on country and R&B, but I do like some songs in both genre. If I was at a rodeo or something I wouldn't mind country music at all. But my own personal music, I listen to everything. One of my favorite channels to listen to on satellite radio is the international music station. Could be from anywhere in the world.
  13. Biden just banned ghost guns which are unlicensed gun kits you put together at home and has no serial number so those guns are untraceable and no background checks. Isn't that a decent gun law to have? Not for the GOP. They are now voting to try and block that law. I can see how the party of terrorists wouldn't want a ban on ghost guns.
  14. That’s kinda funny and creepy; not knowing who’s real or not. I can imagine the head slowly turn in my direction with some sort of conscious awareness then start shorting me. 😬
  15. I played Ace Combat on ps2 and I remember liking it. My grandpa was a fighter jet pilot so need to have a game like this in my collection. What are your thoughts on Ace Combat 7? I see it on sale and wouldn't mind getting it. Which is your favorite in the series?
  16. That's a very good point to make. Even a happy fun exploration game can have that moment of darkness that triggers a memory. I think that games are worth a try to help at least some of the cases of depression. If more of the population can have the option to play games as part of treatment, we can see who it helps and the ones it doesn't. Maybe then we can identify the different forms of depression, the causes of it where gaming doesn't help.
  17. LOLOL I have to laugh because I try to ignore bad voice actors. But it's there and it's annoying. I love Watch Dogs Legion, but damn they really took a crap on voice acting whenever you recruit someone. Still a top game though. Another of my favorite games has bad voice acting in Dying Light 1. And another pretty good game I'd say the male protagonist in Cyberpunk 2077. The female is better. Days Gone, I've grown to love the game and the protagonist has grown on me, but man...at times when he gives a speech, it's like he's whispering or mumbling to himself. It's strange. These are all great games, and they neglected solid voice acting. Why? I haven't got a clue.
  18. Twitter is now putting in place a plan they call the 'poison pill strategy' to prevent 'hostile' corporate bids. And they are now going to implement that strategy against Elon Musk. It would prevent Musk from increasing his shareholder stake by lowering the prices for other shareholders. That would give the other shareholders a voice. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/twitter-elon-musk-takeover-poison-pill-to-prevent-hostile-takeover-rcna24607 https://www.reuters.com/technology/twitter-adopts-poison-pill-fight-musk-2022-04-15/ I find it interesting that Elon Musk is considered a 'hostile' takeover. I also consider him a hostile takeover and there should be antitrust laws or a law against conflicts of interest, or even a law to decrease the number of corporations a person can be top shareholder in. As of today, Elon Musk is no longer top shareholder of Twitter at 9.2%; Vanguard Group now owns 10.3% stake in Twitter. So now we have a sort of hostile corporate attempt to take over the social media giant. After learning a bit more about Vanguard Group and all the top shares they own around the globe, we should be concerned about this sort of thing. I'm extremely serious about this. We need to limit the number of corporations a person or group has top shares in. The big three Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street own almost everything just by being top shareholders. That's scary to think about. It's these groups that lobby against everything good in the world like clean energy. These big three are very poisonous to the world, to politics, and should have no business in controlling social media. These conglomerates need to be broken up. https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/24/business/blackrock-vanguard-state-street-biden/index.html
  19. It wouldn't be a robot anymore if it reproduced. It'd be a cyborg.
  20. The big hits were already released in February. Saints Row remake is what I'm excited for now. I gotta see what they did with it.
  21. Thank goodness I’m not the only one. I don’t have the sharpest memory and those beginning stages of the game requires a lot of memory skills. I think I get less overwhelmed now than I used to.
  22. Whenever I get a trophy, I wonder what I just did. 🤷‍♂️
  23. I like to be able to use character abilities throughout the game and not just towards the end. If things are getting easy, hopefully I could increase difficulty settings anytime. Even though it's fun getting new abilities as a newbie, I'm usually pretty stupid starting off games, so I start getting comfortable when I'm somewhere in between. As a newbie, I try to conserve everything too much. I don't like it when I get a really cool ability towards the end. Even if I'm all leveled up and powerful, I still like to toy with enemies and slap them around some.
  24. Kentucky is the first state that nearly passed into law to jail teachers just for teaching history. Kentucky republicans combined two bills, Senate Bill 1 and Senate Bill 138 which together would have jailed teachers. The democratic Kentucky governor Andy Beshear vetoed the bill after a policy analyst spotted it. Republicans who tried to push the bill claim it was a mistake and now there was a whole ordeal with vetoing the bill. If the analyst didn't spot it, then jailing teachers would have become law. "I don’t think a sponsor can claim there is a mistake in the bill they pushed through," Gov. Andy Beshear said Thursday. "Anything in that bill is the responsibility of that sponsor and of those who voted for it." I guess we can expect more of this kind of scheming so called accidents that actual people have put together and voted for. If Kentucky didn't have a democratic governor to veto the bill, this bill would have been passed by republicans to jail teachers. https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/politics/ky-general-assembly/2022/04/14/kentucky-senate-bill-1-teachers-legal-liability/7318952001/
  25. The Republican National Committee voted to no longer be a part of the Commission on Presidential Debates which has been the American tradition of presidential debates for 30 years. Well, when you have no policy to debate about and are obsessive liars and conspiracy mongers, then this very much suits their cowardice and incompetence. The party of fringe!!! What's wrong? The 'strong man' can't man up? You republicans are a joke; literally.
