So after reading about it, the TX abortion law allows anyone not involved at all to be able to sue anyone who aids in an abortion. Ummm, what does that have anything to do with someone not involved in any way? How can they sue for a money settlement when it really has nothing to do with them? Well, now they are allowed. So that pretty much undermines civil courts where it is supposed to be used to reach settlement for someone harmed in some way. But that is the whole purpose, to empower republicans to be able to sue and get money for something just because they don't like it. Is it even constitutional? Why don't democrats pass a law where anybody can sue someone for not wearing a mask in a public place? That sounds about right to me. Let's get the lawsuits going. https://www.texastribune.org/2021/09/03/texas-republican-abortion-civil-lawsuits/

What is the equivalent of “normal” difficulty in TLOU 2?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I don't remember, but moderate is what I think I played. I always play as moderate or normal. But my next play through I'm gonna put it on the toughest one. And I've tried it on the hardest one replaying an encounter and it's really difficult. I get whooped all over the place. -
Any tips for first playthrough of TLOU 2?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
I wouldn't stress it too much because the game has the feature where you can replay any chapter and/or any encounter. It automatically saves it. Always make sure you have a manual save before repeating any chapter/encounter because its autosave feature could make you lose progress. But as long as you got manual saves, it's all good. Just play as you did in the first one and look around for survivalist magazines for your abilities as well as collectibles and ammo. It's got a photo mode so don't forget about that. -
My mom just lost her job at Planned Parenthood but it was only a weekend job. She says that women with health complications can die if they gave birth. And other times the baby has a disease and is given only a couple years of life after birth. And a parent doesn't want to go through the mental trauma or even the expenses needed just to keep them alive for a couple years.

I'm calling them out on their major hypocrisy. Since republicans are now passing bills to ban abortions which excludes a person's freedom to choose, in the name of pro life; then how can you also be an advocate for personal rights of not wearing a face mask during a pandemic; all the while putting everyone else at risk and children at risk in schools who could get the virus. Pro life and personal rights are at conflict with their stance on abortions and anti mask mandates. And what is the real reason the far right is attacking schools now for mask mandates? They are fighting with principals, parents, and even assaults students. They have already brought in zip ties on school campus and threatening to arrest a principle, which to me should be an attempted kidnapping charge. But what is the real reason? Are they targeting liberal schools to make sure they get sick? Is it because they want to bring chaos in the public school system because the elites are pushing for private schooling just like Betsy Devos did when she was education secretary and attacked public schools? What exactly is their agenda in attacking schools and abortions? Are they just going to do absolutely anything just to spite democrats even if they put their own communities in a public health crisis? How can you sit there and complain about a mask because it is your personal choice, all the while putting others at risk in a pandemic, and not give females a choice with their own bodies to have an abortion because you think you believe in pro life. That is comparing one embryo/fetus to the thousands you put at risk with Covid. Maybe you aren't pro life at all and are weaponizing a pandemic to deliberately kill people? Somebody intelligent enough, explain this hypocrisy.

McCarthy may just have violated federal law by threatening telecommunications companies. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/09/01/mccarthys-threat-to-telecoms-warrants-immediate-ethics-committee-inquiry-508625 But of course, republicans are untouchable by the law. And democrats are too weak to do anything about it except talk and make moaning sounds like the donkeys they are. EEEEHHH HAAAAAA! EEEEEH HAAAAA!

Racist MELTS DOWN At Walmart
Reality vs Adventure replied to The Blackangel's topic in Debate, Politics, & Religion
Those snowflakes think they are so special just like this guy feeling the need to yell what his job was, as if it allows you to be racist. The arrogance of a toddler yelling in a store is the epitome of a snowflake. Somebody spank the MF. Then he calls the cops saying people are accosting him. Oh the arrogance. That is the male Karen. What's his name? Let's start calling male bigots by his name. -
I don't think @StaceyPowers is ready for the most beautiful game worlds if you are replaying ps3 games on a ps5.

I own a ps3 and get the game AS IS and no longer get updates. If the system fails, I still have save files that don't require an update to work. Updates are a failure and it stokes fear in every gamer. If you don't feel it, then imagine yourself on an island with all your game data and your system crashes. You have save data right? But the game you are playing was just updated and your save will no longer work because it is a PAST UPDATED FILE. Now compare ps3 to ps4 where updates are abound. In a way it all goes back to making a finished game before selling it. In my experience, getting games that are several years old with included DLC, I've never had problems with. Should we buy new games anymore? I suggest no way at all. The only benefit getting new games is community events. In no way have I ever missed out on that crap with a few year dated game with included DLC. And you can kiss your save files goodbye due to gaming updates. Your system will force updates that your save file doesn't have yet and make the files unreadable. I never have to worry about gaming with the ps3 because there are no updates. You play what you got. Straight up. I imagine my ps4 without any updates. And I don't think I would have as many problems with save files. I play what I have. But if the game isn't up to par, you risk my saves, as well as my entire system to corruption. So I will never buy a new game ever again. I will never buy a new system. You can fuck off with your incompetence. Your games unfinished, your systems malfunctioning, it's best to play with no online activity, no updates that you can ruin gaming data.

Racist MELTS DOWN At Walmart
Reality vs Adventure replied to The Blackangel's topic in Debate, Politics, & Religion
He just associated someone speaking Spanish to the 9/11 attack. Let me ask this bigot something. If New York was attacked today, would republicans even care? It's a liberal city. Would they even give a damn? I believe not. We have already seen how they treat liberal areas during a natural disaster. They don't give a damn about country. They are only driven by racism and whatever policy that's an extension of it. -
Women have 6 weeks to get an abortion now in Texas. I guess you better get the pregnancy test the day after. Wait when does the positive test even show up? Texas politics= mentally sick can carry guns, abortions illegal, no teaching of historic racism in schools, border wall, ban mask mandates, and voting restrictions Ththththth thaaat's all folks!!!

I've got all my saves good to go on the other system. All worked out except I lost all data for one game. So now I'm set again, but for how long? I no longer trust this system. It's already been to the shop once. But once this one breaks down in 6 months, then I'll get a new hard drive for my other system to carry on for another 6 months. So I give myself 1 year of play time out of these two systems, then who knows. Now I feel like I have to stop playing around and just finish the stories on my games because I no longer have trust in these systems.

Give it a couple years in the apocalypse and they would lose the tie, have zombie gut grease in their hair, and sexy dirt all over them with gun oil. The paddle will have spikes in it. I'm sure they will find a nice vest from some dead scraggler.

My brain weirdly adjusts to poor graphics
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The brain usually fills in gaps to make sense of images so with poor graphics, the brain fills in the rest of the pixels. lol -
Hey pass some of that tea over here cause you got good taste.

I can play either, but for me being chosen impersonalizes the whole thing. If they were able to accomplish things first and find out later they had a special ability, but had to pass the test of humanity and inner strength beforehand, then I would appreciate it more than given powers right off the bat. Because, to put it simply, it just aint fair!!!

Gi Joe for adults. It could be incredible if done right. There are hundreds of Joe and Cobra characters, with female and male alike, animals as companions, military, ninjas, terrorism, government, spies, best technology, base, vehicles. Imagine all the gear and weapons to customize characters. You could control a team in infiltration or solo. I can't imagine what it could be like playing as the ninja Snake Eyes and what abilities he could have. Or a strong man like Roadblock carrying a .50 on his shoulder. There are androids, space troopers, deep sea, air, all branches of military including first line responders, and tech savvy. Snipers and saboteurs, medics, weapons supplier, evil doctors, hybrid human containing DNA of all conquerors, who wants to control the world. You name it. I'm waiting for the day Gi Joe will be made into a grown up game with a serious tone to it. The story could really be amazing. I guess it's one of those things too big to be done right. Even the movies weren't as I wish it would be. It would be the ultimate game if done the way I imagine.

The GOP Grand Obstruction Party continues their obstruction to the investigation committee. Kevin McCarthy and crazy Greene both threatened phone companies because democrats are seeking phone records of events that led up to Jan 6. They are saying that once republicans get power again they will make those phone companies pay if they release phone records. Their threats are an obstruction. They are clearly scared. But we will once again see how weak democrats are and bow down to obstruction.

I really love the series. It is very intense and I got hooked from the first episode. I remember flipping through the channel and caught the beginning of episode 1 season 1 as reruns back to back when season 2 came out. And I've watched every season since. I don't want to spoil anything, but the very last couple seasons after season 8 I thought the series lost its purpose. The story was all over the place and I couldn't follow along anymore. I couldn't remember who was still alive or where anyone was because there were different communities. Then after not seeing a character for a while they pop up and I think, oh yeah, they're still alive? So it lost character bonding and I really didn't know what was going on anymore. I still record the show and watch it from time to time though.
