What games showcased at E3 2021 had the most interesting visual design?

Is anyone else annoyed that Starfield is a PC/Xbox exclusive (and think this bodes badly for PlayStation gamers for other forthcoming Bethesda games)?

The trailer for FAR: Changing Tides caught my eye. I didn’t play FAR: Lone Sails, but the visual design and the concept of that game seem really appealing, so now I am interested in both of them. Has anyone played the first one?

The balance of this year’s E3 was shifted more toward indie games and less toward AAA games than usual. All in all, I think this is a nice change. How do you feel about it?

Were there games you were hoping would make an appearance at this year’s E3 that didn’t show up? I was hoping to find out something about the next BioShock game. And it would have been nice to see ES 6. Although, I’m not encouraged by Starfield being exclusive to Xbox/PC, and feel it is increasingly likely ES 6 won’t even make it to PS5.

There was an insane number of indie games at the INDIE Live Expo this year, and also a pretty strong focus on them during E3. So, I’m sure I have missed quite a few exciting announcements. What are some of the indie game trailers/reveals that have you most excited?

E3 finally gave us a look at Breath of the Wild 2, and it looks gorgeous. What are your thoughts on the trailer?

I have to admit that I have some catching-up to do this year with E3 as I've had some other things going on. For those who have been following, what are some of the coolest trailers you watched that I should check out?

Fight to the death! This one is so easy!

Yes, this would be a great idea! Btw, it cracks me up that in the base game, even if you reject Hermaeus Mora, he's all like "I will give you all the knowledge anyway!" The daedra are determined to be helpful =D I want one with the Ideal Masters because I ended the DLC feeling like I had unfinished business--I want to hunt them down and kill them. But I felt like their existence turned the ES mythology on its head, like there are mysteries beyond the cosmic order. Thus, I feel it'd work better as a spin-off with a different tone/format than the usual ES fare.

If you had never played video games, how would you be different today? I think I’d be unrecognizable, since I learned most of my important early lessons about friendship from playing MUDs.

Is there a spin-off you would like to see for a franchise? Like, I would like to see a linear game about the Ideal Masters/Soul Cairn for Elder Scrolls.

Who is the most annoying video game character ever?

If you had to choose a video game character’s name to legally replace yours, which would you pick? I’d go with either Hawke (Dragon Age 2) or Booker (BioShock Infinite) probably.

Are there any games/trends you missed out on when you were young that you wish you’d caught?

What are some things that are more enjoyable to you in games than RL? For instance, romance/dating in video games is a lot of fun to me, but not so much IRL.

How do you decide on which character you will pursue as a romantic interest in video games that have that as a feature? I always end up torn between two or three options, and usually whoever forces me to pick first is the one I dump, and whoever is left is who I end up with.

If you had to choose a video game genre to live in/exist as for the rest of your life, what would you pick and why? I guess I would pick open world RPG, as it seems like cash is really easy to come by, and one can only get stronger and healthier in most titles.

When was the last time you remember visiting any arcade? For me, it was college.

When was the last time you had a LAN party (with more than 2 people)? I don’t think I have had one since my high school job, where we’d sometimes just drop everything and play UT.

Is there a franchise you are so tired of that you just wish they would quit making sequels forever?
