  1. Who is the most annoying video game character ever?
  2. If you had to choose a video game character’s name to legally replace yours, which would you pick? I’d go with either Hawke (Dragon Age 2) or Booker (BioShock Infinite) probably.
  3. Are there any games/trends you missed out on when you were young that you wish you’d caught?
  4. What are some things that are more enjoyable to you in games than RL? For instance, romance/dating in video games is a lot of fun to me, but not so much IRL.
  5. How do you decide on which character you will pursue as a romantic interest in video games that have that as a feature? I always end up torn between two or three options, and usually whoever forces me to pick first is the one I dump, and whoever is left is who I end up with.
  6. If you had to choose a video game genre to live in/exist as for the rest of your life, what would you pick and why? I guess I would pick open world RPG, as it seems like cash is really easy to come by, and one can only get stronger and healthier in most titles.
  7. When was the last time you remember visiting any arcade? For me, it was college.
  8. When was the last time you had a LAN party (with more than 2 people)? I don’t think I have had one since my high school job, where we’d sometimes just drop everything and play UT.
  9. Is there a franchise you are so tired of that you just wish they would quit making sequels forever?
  10. Did you ever learn or experience something in a video game that changed your real life perspective on something, whether large or small? For example, I used to look up at the stars at night and see hope and possibility. But after Kaidan made a comment in Mass Effect 3, I look up and think, “Wow, there are probably trillions of organisms out there suffering.”
  11. What are some “twists” in video games that you guessed easily? For example, I guessed the “twist” in BioShock Infinite quite early in the game, and hardly feel it is a twist at all (which is not a criticism).
  12. What are some of the most shocking moments you’ve experienced in video games?
  13. Can someone else cure the disease instead? Then I'll go to the planet, no questions. If only I can cure the disease, I'll cure the disease.
  14. Have you had a major change in opinion about anything gaming-related lately? What was it, and what changed your mind?
  15. If you spent a lot of time playing online games in your youth, do you ever wonder what happened to all the people you used to game with? I sometimes wish there could be a meet-up decades later just to see where they all ended up.
  16. Did you ever make a massive mistake in a game that turned out to help you? Like, in a MUD, I once stupidly read a classified log entry to the wrong person. It was an honest dumb mistake, but it turned me into a public figure as it became a treason case, which gave me power.
  17. Did someone you didn’t really know well or at all ever do anything particularly nice for you in a multiplayer game? As an example, years after I quit a MUD, I saw someone I barely knew at all saying on a forum he still missed me because of the approach I took toward the game, which he found refreshing. I was surprised and touched by his comment.
  18. Did anyone ever give you absolutely terrible advice about gaming—the type where following it made you under-perform for a long time, or made life harder in some other way? What was it?
  19. Has anyone ever given you a tip that was incredibly helpful for you in playing a particular game or for gaming in general? What was it, and how did it make your life easier?
  20. Do you have an inviolable personal rule you would never break when playing a game? I.e. "I would never kill a rat" (thinking of @The Blackangel).
  21. What game do you love now that your younger self would never have imagined getting into?
  22. What video game stats amaze you? For me, it is stuff like how many locks I have picked in Skyrim and other menial tasks, and I suddenly realize just how much time I spend doing these mindless things.
  23. Are there games you have played that don’t track stats that you wish did—or which you wish tracked stats they didn’t, even though they tracked others?
  24. If your life were a video game, which game would it be? I guess for myself I’d pick Spec Ops: The Line, because I don’t know what is going on most of the time =D
  25. What would other people say you do well at when gaming—not necessarily what you would say you do well at?
