Those are nice overclocking results on a 8 core i7 to be honest, your current CPU should be a future proof for your rig just fine and i don't think you have to spend extra bucks to upgrade any soon 😛
-
With intel knowing about how Smart Access Memory works, it will kinda make a comeback, they decided to stop competing in terms of core counts because they realized that AMD does it better, but will focus on single core performance.
-
This can happen in non-intensive games as well as any other task if CPU is being pushed to the limits
-
Steam supports linux along with bunch of popular games such as CS:GO, what's surprising is that games on Linux performs way better than they do in Windows, but the issues is that there are only few ones to exist for the platform
-
If you really want to play those old titles, then go for it, as due to the massive updates that Windows has received, it's no longer possible to play those old games on modern Windows due to compatibility issues. Also building an old pc won't really cost you that much.
-
PC's blowing due to intensive games is just a joke :p, if your PC isn't capable of running a game, it will just keep playing it at very low FPS (1 fps for example with hardware's usage maxed out), or it will not even launch (sometimes due to unsupported hardware) or it will crash after seconds or even minutes of running.

This could be the game of the year (for me personally) if it didn't have the optimization issue, game struggles even in high end gaming PC's 😞 (unless you want to lose graphic's quality which is the most important thing in this game)
-
If it performs lower than the 3090 but costs the same as 6900 XT, then only people that are interested in Ray Tracing are going to buy it (or Nvidia fanbois), because it makes no sense to buy something expensive when there is an alternative for cheaper price
-
Played it on PC, it's so cool and graphics on PC are so cool compared to the PS4 version, and what's even cooler is that it has a very decent optimization which means it's not hard to run at all !
-
Yes they should, the PC version is so buggy (from the last time i tried it), you still need patches for it to have it working properly and lot of issues...
-
Not to forget that most of Driver games were mostly about driving skills and not action stuff like in GTA, but they were still fun

Mafia Definitive edition is a terrible butchering of a classic
Patrik replied to m76's topic in Video Games
Finally someone sharing the same opinion as mine, i never liked the remake at all, maybe if you consider it as a whole other game then yes, it should be fine, but it shouldn't be called a remake for the original game at all, they just ruined everything and you don't feel like playing the original game at all. Ridiculous voice actors, modified storyline events, modified map... -
Lets guess what GTA VI will be about, setting, protagonist, etc
Patrik replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
Probably some betrayal or revenge stuff again, just like in almost every previous GTA, i hope i'm wrong, otherwise, we will have the same repetitive "go here go there, work for this guy and that guy etc...) -
Exactly, i believe that the guy will get sued before he even completes the project (if he's planning to do for sure), that's how things work unfortunately, same happened to lot of modders 😞

Why aren't there more games with Santa as the main character?
Patrik replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I believe every online game features Santa as a playable character each year (Fortnite too i guess), it might make nosense in some games (like what the hell has Santa to do with PUBG) -
What are your last played 2D games or games you are currently playing? For me, i'm currently replaying Metal Slug, all of the chapters (including Metal Slug advance on NDS Emulator on PC).

If doing micro transactions becomes a thing, then that's a plus for the gaming companies as some countries don't have Paypal supported and not everyone has a credit card :P
-
I don't think that Rockstar is going to release it any soon, not even a remaster for the first game (which was lot better than the second one), so, i believe we just have to forget about the game :(
-
I started playing on PC before consoles, back in 2005 to be specific, i remember getting my hands on an old Dell Prebuilt that had a Pentium 3 inside it and it came with some pretty old games installed such as Donkey Kong and some other similar games, i installed GTA 3 & Vice city on it later.
-
The best era was back when companies weren't greedy and trying to milk every possible cent out of the players, that's why we had more enjoyable games than we currently do :(
-
I wouldn't agree about the driving mechanics being good, but the game has that cool cartoonish gamestyle and feels a whole other experience than GTA does, still gathered hate by many 😞
-
I had the chance to play only the first mission in PS2 since the game's disc used to belong to a friend of mine, unfortunately, it's only exclusive for PS2, but emulation is a thing 😈
-
I never had the chance to play it, but i always found it cool based on some gameplays from youtube, also, their unreleased Honk Kong chapter is what everyone knows today as Sleeping Dogs 🙂

Games you have that are widely popular, but are unfamiliar as to why
Patrik replied to The Blackangel's topic in Video Games
Minecraft, League of legends and some other popular games. Speaking of minecraft, i never understood how it works nor even found it fun, same goes to league of legends (which seem to be so boring for me)...
