What has surprised you the most about gamers since becoming one?
Patrik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I never considered myself as a gamer till i started playing online games in 2015 ( i was playing only singleplayer as it was and still lot of fun for me), things i always thought about gamers : fat, virgin and wear glasses. Here i am fat, will be wearing glasses but not virgin ( i don't know how this is going to improve your daily life, but here you know it xD) but gaming has nothing to do with that -
Don't try it unless you are doing it to play old Retro games, otherwise you'll regret the effort, time and money you spent on it since the hardware in it is so weak that it hardely gets Minecraft Java running at 30 fps

In GTA, there are are lot of trainers that gives you the ability to move during cutscenes, but when you die, it won't be considered until the cutscene ends, still pretty fun to troll during cutscenes tho xD
-
And i will never forget the part where Tommy says "a man who wants everything, ends up having nothing", that made me see GTA as an ant, but Mafia as an elephant...

Playing with friends or strangers, which is more fun?
Patrik replied to bomb's topic in Gaming Forum
Every choice has its own fun to be honest, sometimes you get to know some very nice strangers, then they become friends, sometimes not. -
Luckily my English wasn't that good when i joined online gaming, even if i was bad, i couldn't understand if people are dropping compliments or hate, but the better i got in games, the better my English did as well, so i became the bully (i just took the role even if i don't bully :P)

They surely do, they are the reason why lot of peaceful dudes started hating some platforms, alright we got it, you love something, that doesn't mean everyone else has to do so, also there is no need to brag about how better the thing you prefer is than the thing that everyone else prefers...

How long do you think we will have to wait to get next gen consoles?
Patrik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Atleast 6 months i'd say, considering that companies keep releasing products when even previous products don't exist on stock -
Do you think they should take a break from open world games?
Patrik replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Open world if you stick to tasks and missions and ignore exploring the world, won't be considered as open world, do it this way, atleast till some better alternatives appear. -
I forgot about the 3050 and 3050Ti as well, well, 3000 series GPU's will take over for sure, rip 16 and 20 series GPU's !
-
I believe they do that only to console games, PC games are a no way to go for them as they can be copied xD. On topic : i never had that ability and i never even thought that something like this exists :o

Found this on Google, it might help : https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-control-multiple-computers-with-one-keyboard-and-mouse

Ranking the video games you completed for the first time in 2020
Patrik replied to Hammerklavier's topic in Gaming Forum
GTA 4 Mafia 2 (with all DLC's) Mafia 1 (revisited it) Sleeping Dogs Inside i just realized that i didn't play that much this year :( -
Don't expect to rely on Twitch's income alone, sponsorships and advertisements are the biggest parts of the cake, because Twitch pays only pennies
-
TruckersMP (Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer), luckily the mods are allowed in the singleplayer, since stock trucks & sounds are quite boring and not what trucks lovers are looking for
-
Where's "Kane & Lynch" ? the game wasn't that bad, but the hate it gathered from most players is more than the cheaters creators did lol

Should more games introduce a penalty for leaving early?
Patrik replied to Alexander.'s topic in Gaming Forum
I don't think that something similar should exist, you might feel bored in the middle of a match/session, so there's no use to push people a game that they got no mood for :( -
Some people around me don't really hate gaming, but still think it's a childish way to waste time and means that you aren't mature enough, unfortunately, this mindset is still a thing even after ages, some of them ask you to grow the Flowers up when they see you doing gaming, but hey, does their opinion even matter ? ;)
-
yeah mate, not to forget that there are lot of things to take on consideration such syncing things that aren't meant to appear in 3rd person view, which leads to lot of bugs that make the mod useless :(

Will you place your PlayStation 5 vertically or horizontally?
Patrik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I believe it's better to place it vertically, not the safest spot for a kind of tiny console, but it really helps when it comes to cooling. -
Major content you've missed in games you played?
Patrik replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I never did side tasks in lot of games and regretted that, because i missed a lot of cutscenes and characters to know about, that's why i'm slowly replaying older games of mine. -
Unfortunately that doesn't exist in Intel, 3rd gen i5's scoring nearly the same as 7th gen i7's laptop models LOL
-
well that's the issue, grinding for stats is what brings tryharders to games that are ruining the fun in everything, Fortnite or any similar game could be lot of fun if campers (or people that hide xd) weren't a thing
-
I know it's not yet, but that shouldn't be a big deal, as even GPU's that are released already can hardely be found on stock, that atleast can still make us believe that Nvidia still got the top rank in the high end range of GPU's
-
well, camping or hiding, where's the fun in staying in a hidden spot for ages to win a game ? :(, that's not funny, atleast for me...
