  1. I'm playing as a Dwarven Tempest Cleric, and I'm really enjoying it. I mainly picked cleric because it's the only D&D class I've actually played in a D&D campaign, although I played as the Life domain instead of Tempest. For me, cleric is the perfect blend between heavily armored melee combat and spellcasting. Which companions do you usually have in your party? I've mainly been rocking with Lae'zel, Karlach and Gale, but I have been concidering swapping Gale for Wyll for a while, to test out a Warlock build instead.
  2. I'm currently playing Baldur's Gate 3, and so far I would say that this game is the very definition of an epic RPG. The world is in depth and immersive, the characters are really fleshed out. I definitely think the game is bit easier to grasp if you are already familiar with how D&D works, but I don't think it's a requirement. I can absolutely see why it has gotten such high praise.
  3. I watched Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters this weekend, and I had a really great time. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't watched it, but it had a lot of really great callbacks and references to the Marvel universe that I really enjoyed. Highly recommend watching it.
  4. I've gotten a fair bit into Baldur's Gate 3 now, and I absolutely love it. I'm completely hooked. It's such an amazing detailed, well executed game. I'm playing on Xbox Series X, and I was a little unshure of how well it was gonna work on a controller, but apart from a few times where I've had some trouble highlighting a chest that I want to open, it has been a perfectly smooth experience. I'm about 20 hours in so far, and I have a feeling I'm going to sink a lot more hours into this game.
  5. I've never tried it myself, but I would like to try it at some point. To me, racing games definitely have the most appeal for multiple monitor setups. I've seen some sim racing rigs that utilize 3 monitors to give you peripheral vision, and it looks awesome. Must be a lot more immersive than just having one screen in front of you.
  6. I finally completed Saints Row 100%. I only got about half of the trophies, but I really don't have any ambition to do so. I wanted to finish all the activities in the game, but in order to get all the trophies you have to do quite a bit of repetitive grinding, which does not seem fun at all. I'm now finally on to Baldur's Gate 3! I played it for maybe 2 hours last night, but about half of that time was spent just creating my character. Typical RPG experience for me. So far, the game seems really good, which should't really come as a surprise. I love D&D, and the game really seems to do a great job of recreating the experience in video game form.
  7. You guys are aware that these already exist, right? 😅 Albeit for the PS4, but they look and run great on the PS5 as well.
  8. I also tend to go for Logitech. As far as I can recall I haven't owned a Logitech product that I haven't been happy with. I currently have a mechanical keyboard, one mouse for private use and and ergonomic one for work, and computer speakers all made by Logitech, and it all just works. I have a headset made by HyperX that I've had a lot of problems with, so the next time I'm in the market for a headset, odds are I'm going with Logitech instead.
  9. I think one of the only pieces of PC hardware that actually needs the "gaming" distinction is mice, as gaming mice will normally have features that a normal office mouse does not have. Sure, it is certainly possible to game with a normal mouse, but you will probably have a better experience using one that is designed for gaming. I believe my Ikea desk is also branded as a gaming desk, but that just means that it has built in cable management. No tacky RGB lights in sight.
  10. While I do agree with most people in this thread that an engaging story is a good way to hook players, I personally think game mechanics are way more important. I've played lots of games that have zero story, but very fun gameplay mechanics that have hooked me instantly, like for example Vampire Survivors or Brotato.
  11. I bought a domain a few years back to have my own email address, but I would say it was far from professional. The domain was *mylastname*.pizza, so my email address was anders@*lastname*.pizza. I soon figured out that the free email service that came with the domain only saved emails for 30 days, so I just went back to my gmail
  12. In Morrowind, it was totally possible to break the whole game for yourself by killing a character that is important to the story. If you kill one of these characters, a message will pop up basically telling you that you have doomed this world. You can then either reload an earlier save, or just keep playing the game, but if you do, there will be no way to complete the main story. They changed this in Oblivion so that if you tried to kill an important character, they would just be knocked out for a minute.
  13. One of my original Xboxes is hacked, and has bunch of games on the hard drive. I did't actually know that it was when I bought, I just wanted it because it was the limited crystal version. A lot of the games on it doesn't seem to want to boot at all though. I looked into adding some games of my own to it, but it seemed very complicated by today's standards, so I'll just play my discs instead.
  14. I do! I've been collecting records for a number of years now. I recently went through my whole collection and cataloged it all on Discogs, so I know that I currently have exactly 243 records. Summing up my collection is quite difficult, as it spans a ton of different artists and genres, but if you're interested you can have a look through it here: https://www.discogs.com/user/malahcai/collection
  15. I hadn't heard about this game, but it looks really cool! I'm a huge fan of ARPGs, and I really like this art style. I am however sceptical about the 4 player coop aspect of it. Personally I would have preferred it to be a single player experience, but that's just me.
  16. In the same vein as Outer Wilds, I would say Return of the Obra Dinn.
  17. Yes, I've been collecting vinyl for about 12 years or so now, and I own about 250 records. There's just something about vinyl that I really enjoy. It sounds good, I like having the large artwork on display, and I just like being able to physically hold the music in my hands. It's also one of the best ways to support small, independent artists.
  18. For me and my Diablo 3 collection, it started out with wanting to play the game on different platforms. The PS4 version came out with the Reaper of Souls expansion, so I had to get that, then I got a PC and wanted to play it there, then it came out on Switch, so I wanted to play it portably. Then I came across an Xbox One copy at a store for like $3, so I figured I might as well get it. At that point I only needed a PS3 copy, which I finally bought earlier this year.
  19. I used to have a P30 Pro, and it's probably one of the best phones I've owned. If Huawei were still allowed to use Google Play services I would probably still be buying their phones. I'm very happy with my current Google Pixel 8 Pro though. I'm gonna keep it for a while longer, but I can definitely see my next phone being a Pixel 9 or 10.
  20. I downloaded this game on Gamepass a while back because I though the art style looked really interesting, but I never ended up actually playing it. Does't sound like I'm missing a whole lot, but I might give it another go.
  21. Oh man, that just triggered a memory in me. That mission is super annoying!
  22. One of my least favorites are probably forced stealth missions in games where stealth is otherwise optional. I don't mind stealth in games where the whole game is based around it, like Splinter Cell for example, but in games where I have the option to run and gun, I never go for stealth.
  23. Kind of, I have sort of an upstairs living room/game room/home office on the second floor of my house. I have all my games and consoles there, my desk and PC, my CRT-TV for my retro consoles, as well as a larger TV for the modern consoles. I also have all my guitars and music gear there. Basically all the stuff my wife doesn't want anywhere else in the house shoved into one room! I'm very happy with it though.
  24. Welcome Ja sa bong! Good to have you
  25. I put very little stock in rumors in general, I prefer to wait for actual announcements. Like recently all of Reddit shit itself over rumors that Xbox was shutting down. People were actually selling their consoles because they were somehow convinced they would be nothing but paperweights in a matter of weeks. What ended up happening? Absolutely nothing. Well, not nothing, I guess Xbox did end up shutting down several studios a little while later, but according to the rumors, the whole Xbox brand was going to implode.
