My sister just walked up to me and expressed interest in learning FIFA. To be frank it takes a great deal of patience to teach a newbie basic knowledge. Most times it is frustrating, you’ll want to give up. Have you ever taught someone how to play a game? What was the experience like?

Some gamers have the habit of quitting games when they are about to lose, so that they can start all over. They do this so that they can avoid a losing streak. Do you often do this too?

Is it ethical to use misleading trailers to promote a game?
Kennysplash replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
This can be likened to clickbait in blogging. They present a concept that is entirely different from the product and people end up feeling betrayed. If developers are sure of e what they have done they have no need for misleading trailers. -

Bosses in games that are harder than the final boss
Kennysplash replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
Well I feel these kinds of bosses make it easier for you to fight the final boss quite well. But in cases when the journey has been smooth it will be hard to deal with the boss. -
Discipline and discernment is needed for gamers not to become addicted. If it gets to the point in which one allows gaming to dominate important activities like work, then one is addicted and needs assistance.

I have heard quite a number of gaming superstitions while growing up. Though I believe them at first but I eventually found them all to be myths. One that I know of very well is that pressing the buttons on the controller rapidly before a game brings good luck. Some also believe that if you eat certain snacks before playing (like energy drink and chocolate), it can improve your gaming performance. What gaming superstitions do you know?
