  1. Discipline and discernment is needed for gamers not to become addicted. If it gets to the point in which one allows gaming to dominate important activities like work, then one is addicted and needs assistance.
  2. I see them as a way for me to see how I can improve my gaming skills. There are times when I have winning streaks too, so it is not something I think about at all.

  4. A trend I have noticed is the rise of cloud gaming. Cloud gaming services like Google Stadia, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Xbox Cloud Gaming are expanding, offering gamers convenience and accessibility without the need for expensive hardware.
  5. Honestly I have not even thought about it yet. I believe I will figure that out come next year, since there is such a big list to choose from.
  6. Let’s have some fun. You are arrested for an atrocity you committed in the last game you played. What is your offense?
  7. Research has shown that playing games can have positive effects on mental and emotional well-being. They can help you unwind, escape a harsh reality and even boost your mood. How true do you think this is?
  8. Despite the fact that many talk about it, I have not played Minecraft and COD. It’s not that I don’t want to try them, but I can’t play all these games can I? What are don well known games that you have not played?
  9. I have heard quite a number of gaming superstitions while growing up. Though I believe them at first but I eventually found them all to be myths. One that I know of very well is that pressing the buttons on the controller rapidly before a game brings good luck. Some also believe that if you eat certain snacks before playing (like energy drink and chocolate), it can improve your gaming performance. What gaming superstitions do you know?
  10. There are people that love to have a gaming collection. Once they play a game they add it to the collection, just to keep track of the games they play. These people find it hard to lend or give out games anyhow, just looking at them gives enough satisfaction. Do you also keep record of the games you play?
  11. There are some quotes that pop up while gaming that can be annoying. I don’t like seeing a quote so overused or in high pitched voices. The likes of “Finish him! Prepare to die!” I wish I can skip them. What quotes from games kind of annoy you?
  12. While we enjoy our favorite genres, there are some genres that we just can’t bring ourselves to like. For me I can’t really get into Battle Royale. I don’t fancy competitive games, especially if it’s not solo. I can’t imagine letting my team down or losing by an unknown and unforeseen attack. Which genre is hard for you to get into?
  13. For someone that is a fan of comic books, what games would you recommend? I know a few ones like the Arkham series and Spider-Man. These games really bring the comic books to life. What other comic based games would you recommend?
  14. Nintendo acquiring 100% of Monolith Soft is definitely big news in the gaming world. Monolith Soft is best known for developing the Xenoblade Chronicles series, which has garnered a strong following due to its engaging storytelling and expansive worlds. By fully acquiring Monolith Soft, Nintendo can ensure that the studio continues to create high-quality RPGs that align with their vision. This move could also mean more support and resources for Monolith Soft, potentially leading to even better games in the future. Source
  15. I play games to relieve stress and enjoy myself. So if the games I play give me stress then I will move on. It rarely happens though, but if it does I don’t waste my time.
  16. We are in the last month of the year. For most of us it has been a year full of gaming experiences. If you were asked to choose, what is your best game of the year?
  17. There is a reason people use games as a getaway from the real life. We try to do things that seem hard hard to do or challenging in real life. So it’s not just about irresponsibility, but we want to do things that we are not able to do in life when we play games.
  18. I can’t even wait to get home to play it. If possible I will connect right there where I bought it and start playing. I bought it with my hard earned money, I don’t know why I will keep it boxed up again.
  19. I try my best not to make use of any cheat, at most I will look for hints. Whenever I use cheats I feel like it’s not my own achievement and I don’t like that feeling.
  20. When you get better at anything and you start winning, it is obvious that you start building confidence in yourself. Whenever I want to play PES with my friends especially, there is this confidence I have. First of all I am good at it, so it’s a challenge for them to win me. So this gives me some kind of boost. Do you think getting better and winning give more confidence?
  21. There are many video games characters that you cannot help but feel sorry for. They are lonely and have no one to relate with. I will choose Chell from the portal games. She had nothing but AI for company, who even made attempts to kill her a few times. Who would you say is the loneliest game character?
  22. Some of my friends are jovial, but when it comes to gaming they become too serious. They do not smile and make jokes, they are so fixated on their games and how they will win.
