Would you eat fast food every day if it was good for you?
Kennysplash replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Forum Games & Fun
No I would not. I never really fancied fast food apart from the fact that they are unhealthy. I like to enter the kitchen and prepare a nice meal for myself, after eating I’ll feel satisfied. Junks don’t give me that kind of satisfaction. -
Our smartphones have become an extension of us in our daily lives. We have them with us almost everywhere we go. This has made it possible for us to play games in times which would not be possible with console and PC. Whether you are commuting, waiting on someone, on a break at work you can flip out your smartphones and play away. It also helps in keeping you occupied when it could be boring. You play for the short time you can afford, and continue later.

I was so good as PES in PS3 then. Friends would line up and see who would beat me out, however it started to get boring. It’s not their fault though, they are not novices in any way. But I got so good. For some the fun comes from mastering the game and being able to play at a high level. For me however, I think the fun of gaming is in the discovery and exploration of a game. Once I feel I have mastered it the fun fades away. Which side do you belong?

You have played the same level over 10 times and you can’t get pass. Maybe it’s a final boss, we know how extremely hard some of them can be sometimes. Some friends complained so much about Demon of Hatred, how impossible it seemed to win. If this happens what do you do? Do you consider it a challenge, then find every possible means to try and complete the game? Or you just give up and abandon it? If you can relate please share your experience.

Yes I have once. I am always the extra careful type, but I guess I can’t prevent all accident. I actually fell down with the smartphone, I had to repair the screen immediately as I had no other alternative.

Bread and tea, most of the time. If I am loaded I will fry a few eggs. It gives me enough energy before lunch.

When I was schooling I lived alone. I had a terrible illness and there was no one to support me. I schooled in a different city from my parent’s, I had nobody. It was horrible. At once I got a roommate, one that we got along well. I didn’t regret it.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity, who would it be?
Kennysplash replied to svjiminfxv's topic in General Chat
Ryan Reynolds. Apart from the fact that his acting is top notch, he is funny both on and off the set. I follow him on some social media platforms and what he posts, concerning his work and family is just hilarious. -
I had a huge build up to my teenage years. If anyone would do the bullying it would be me. But I never did that nor did I experience it. I attended a private school, so bullying was almost nonexistent.

I was a manager at a game and sport shop. I just got out of high school, I showed my knowledge of the games and money management during the interview. I worked there for a year and six months, it was memorable.

What's the impact of Social Media on Gaming?
Kennysplash replied to aerodynamik's topic in Gaming Forum
That is a lot. This opportunity would not have been possible with social media. So we can say that it affords many to make a living while playing games. A noteworthy advantage of social media. -
I don’t have one yet, but I’m sure my kid won’t be allowed to play certain games. Of course he would start playing early, but selectively. I won’t have him exposed to lewd games at an early age.
-
My work is a shift one, one morning I’m home the other one I’m not. So I can’t have a fixed time to play, it can only be when I am free. However when I am on leave I usually spend evening playing.

When someone says, you're too old to be playing games?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I’ll ask him who put age limit on gaming. It’s a form of entertainment enjoyed by people of all ages. You don’t tell adults they are too old to watch movies or read books, why is gaming any different? This or I will just ignore. -
Do you consider yourself wasting too much time and money on games?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
Nope, I don’t and never did. What I even spend on games is nothing compared to other activities. And I don’t consider wholesome activities I enjoy doing as a waste of time. -
Ever inspired to try new things/experiences because of a video game?
Kennysplash replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Drifting. It seems so easy in games and even movies, but I rarely witness it. I know have to consider some factors, since I’m always on express road. But it’s what I would love to try, at the same time the thought of it gives me chills. -
My brother played Forza Horizon so much. It pumped up his knowledge of cars brands, models and manufacturers. If he starts automobile analysis you would be wowed. All from the video game.

How much time are you playing games on your smartphone?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I mostly play games on my phone when I am outside. It’s always console when I am home. So since I am on the move I barely spend half an hour playing games on my smartphone a day. I only use it to pass away time when I’m waiting on someone or something. -
Have you ever clicked on game ads intentionally?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I never click on ads. In fact if it’s too much I’m out. By my impression they are making money already, I don’t have that much time to waste to be diverted from my activity. -
Do you think mobile gaming will reach the level of console/PC gaming?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I would not compare the two, I enjoy them both. Yesterday I was stuck in the bank for over an hour, I took out my smartphone and played NFS. If not for it I would have been bored to death. So for me they all serve their purposes. -
Pro Evolution Soccer. But my friends would rather play PUBG or GTA. I love GTA especially, but so also PES. But it seems to be only me in my little circle of friends.

How does the music contribute to the overall gaming experience?
Kennysplash replied to Debashis's topic in Gaming Forum
The music is like a secret sauce that makes the experience come to life. Imagine how you feel when you are blasting through hordes of enemies and the sound is there to make you feel like a badass. Music and sound heightens the emotional impact of the story and makes you more immersed. -
What stopped you from being too much into gaming?
Kennysplash replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
Life happened. Those days I was still being fed, so I can spend as much time as possible. Now with all the bills ringing bells around my head, I could only afford a few hours on a weekly basis. When I am on leave I do satisfy myself though. -
Retro gamer is one that I remember vividly, and it’s still holding the line. It still helps players with their physical issues. Although it has gone digital as well, which was absolutely necessary.
