  1. Mortal Kombat! I loved using Lu Kang and subzero a lot. Now that I think about it, I was way too young for the game. But it had no real effect on me.
  2. I don’t understand the use of cheats, especially when you play multiplayer and tournaments. I find people that do so annoying, it is fine if it used in single player mode. But multiplayer is a capital No.
  3. I usually put it off for some days before I get back to it. By then I will be able to approach it with a fresh mindset. One thing I find hard to do is to rush through a game even though it’s stressing me out.
  4. That has been a massive change and improvement if we are to compare 50 years ago and now. So I believe there will be the same change and even greater one in the next 50 years.
  5. It was a multiplayer game with my friends, we were playing FIFA. I was down one goal in the final fifteen game minutes, but eventually won. When I scored the last goal in the last seconds, I pulled my shirt and did a knee sliding celebration in the living room. Remembering it always make me laugh.
  6. I would leave my mission and start shooting randomly in GTA. It used to be fun for me those days though, but now I don’t think I can do that anymore. I know it’s just a game but…

  8. Watching professional players and learning from them is so underrated. Although you do not necessarily have to copy all their tactics, you can learn what works and what does not and use it to implement your own strategies.
  9. Yeah while I would agree with you to a certain degree, there is just not much to conclude on in a demo. Even many games that seems so good in demo later end up to be a disappointment.

  11. Ny roommate gets bored easily these days. I often find find him pausing what he is playing to scroll through his phone. He does it when we play multiplayer games as well. It’s obvious that he has lost the excitement he used to have. What do you think can help revive the excitement?
  12. A few times we have started games and for one reason or another we have to neglect the games halfway. Then you look back at these games and you are even glad you stopped playing them. For me it’s call of duty. I’m just tired of war games.
  13. Recently I learned that it is better to be a proactive gamer than reactive. Acting first will always give you an edge over reacting to your opponent’s actions. This has helped me to win more duels compared to when I mostly depended on opponents actions. What tips have helped you improve your gaming skills?
  14. What games do you look forward to playing before the year runs out? It could be new games that are not yet released, but you are looking forward to them. Or a game that has been in the market but you have not played yet. Share with us your thrills for the rest of the year.
  15. Surely, there are times when you suddenly get stuck in a particular level and you can’t seem to get through. I just quit the game and give it a few hours or days. Or I seek ideas from those that have completed the game how they did it, whether online or offline. What do you do when games get really tough?
  16. Demo simply means demonstrations. When it comes to games, there are demos of it that gives a glimpse to players what to expect. Do you make decisions based on the demos you play?
  17. The very first game I played was Super Mario. I still remember vividly how excited I was to get to play on console for the first time. Do you remember the very first time you played a game? What kind of game was, and how did you feel?
  18. Yes, that is what priorities is all about. I don’t want to spend all my time working as well. I want to balance it out with the right kind of fun.
  19. RTS games comes to mind. Games like Command and conquer requires you to have top resources management skills. They also teach you how timing is very important.
  20. I love playing football while growing up. So I knew that I would enjoy football games as well. I like it so much especially when I play multiplayer with friends, always make wonderful memories.
  21. I play Tetris a lot, and it has subtle effects on how I want my stuffs to be well arranged and aligned. If there is a slight disarray of in the way I keep things, I feel the need to make everything look perfect.
  22. For kids definitely. It makes learning more fun and enjoyable for them, we have a lot of games dedicated to that. I don’t see how an adult can enjoy such games though.
  23. Yes, as long as they have diligently done their homework and chores then they should be free to play for a few hours. It should be like a reward for their diligence.
  24. Of course, I don’t even need to be told that. Gaming is just for fun, I don’t make money from it. So I have to take more seriously what makes me pay my bills.
