How Do Video Games Influence Our Perception of History and Culture?
Kennysplash replied to Lens's topic in Gaming Forum
They actually do, more than we care to admit. This War of Mine (2014) is an example of a game that conveys the human cost of war and civilian struggles during the Bosnian war. Call of Duty also tells us a lot about WWII. -
The storytelling and narratives of games make them a work of art. Games tell a complex and engaging story with deep characters and themes. This is similar to what literatures and films do.

The Impact of VR on Immersive Storytelling in Games
Kennysplash replied to Lens's topic in Gaming Forum
VR has provided a high level of presence and engagement. Players feel like they are inside the game world, which leads to a greater sense of involvement in the gameplay. -
Do you have a room just for your video games? AKA a Game Room
Kennysplash replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Wow you are really living the dream. This will make your gameplay even more enjoyable and immersive experience. It is not that cluttered, is it? -
What are the best games to play when you are feeling sick/unwell?
Kennysplash replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I don’t know there are games you can play when you are healthy and when you are sick. If I really like a game then I would want to play it anytime, even when I don’t have much energy. -
Are Multiplayer Games Eroding the Appeal of Single-Player Experiences?
Kennysplash replied to Lens's topic in Gaming Forum
Not everyone fancy playing with others. We don’t have to compare them or debate about how one is better than the other. Burg are essential aspects of gaming. -
Is There Such a Thing as Too Much Realism in Video Games?
Kennysplash replied to Lens's topic in Gaming Forum
Can realism ever be too much? I don’t think so. If there are too much tricks and mechanics in a game that completely goes out of the world, I would not see the meaning in it. I want some real experience you know. -
Which of your games are you best at and worst at?
Kennysplash replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I’m very good at racing games, but bad at soccer games. When I play multiplayer football with others I end up getting the last positions. I guess we can’t have it all. -
It’s undisputed that Reddit has the largest gaming community. But it does not work for me, I find it hard to interact freely there without the unfair treatment of Reddit moderators and admin.

Hotmail or Gmail? Which one do you prefer?
Kennysplash replied to The Blackangel's topic in Technology & Gadgets
Hotmail is not even an option I have considered. I have always been using gmail right from the very beginning, and it’s what I still use. -
Does anyone still read the newspaper?
Kennysplash replied to melanie_marie27's topic in Technology & Gadgets
My parents read it, and there are a lot of them lying around the house. So I pick them up a few times when I have nothing to do and just peruse them. It makes me feel rather old and wise. -
Any human that knows what he is doing will not allow himself to be beaten by a machine. AI cannot take our jobs away, rather it even makes us more productive.

I’ll choose The last of us II. Such an amazing conclusion to Ellie’s journey. Out of the games you’ve played so far, which one would you say has the best ending? The ending was so good and you would want to play it again to have the experience.

It may not even be that you play the game often, but when you just catch the scenery in a picture or when someone else is playing you are able to point it out immediately. The Liurnia of the Lakes scenery in Eiden Ring is one I can recognize anytime I see it.

For the computer engineer and hardware gurus, did it ever occur to build your own gaming PC? If you tried it, how did it work out?

Most games walk you through some tutorials when you play them for the first time. These tutorials can be basic, like navigations, survival hints etc. I like to go through them so that I can know what to expect. Do you go through tutorials?

There are times when you seem to do the impossible when you play, and you have that memory with you forever. You even show it off to friends and they are wowed. I do this a lot after I discovered new skills when playing FIFA. What gaming badge of honor would you say you have?

There are times when you don’t have much to do, or you are on a break. I sometimes use that time to play off a few short games at work, and it’s more easier when I’m working remote times. It helps me get through the day. I don’t do it when I have serious work going on though. Do you play when you are working?

The lockdown was indeed a time of immersive gaming. There was time and there was no thought of having to get ready for work the next hour or next day. I played football games with my homies a lot. We set up tournaments on FIFA and PES, so those were the two I played the most. What games did you play the most during lockdown?

If you fancy playing multiplayer with others, there most like are a few friends online and offline that you want to play with often. This might be due to reasons best known to every individual. To you, what makes you look forward to play with someone?

Do you stay in touch with all of your online gaming friends?
Kennysplash replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
We only stay in touch when we play games, nothing other than that. We have no conversations whatsoever outside gaming, which is the best way to maintain the gaming relationship. -
Are you happy with the amount of time you game?
Kennysplash replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
That balance is very much important, these bills aren’t going to pay themselves. So I don’t let gaming and work interfere with each other. -
Do you often gamble on the outcomes of games?
Kennysplash replied to Kennysplash's topic in Gaming Forum
That is the negative thinking associated with gambling. Chronic gamblers think that one day they can win big, but they keep on losing a lot of money. It’s a vicious cycle.
