  1. Let’s have some fun. You are arrested for an atrocity you committed in the last game you played. What is your offense?
  2. Research has shown that playing games can have positive effects on mental and emotional well-being. They can help you unwind, escape a harsh reality and even boost your mood. How true do you think this is?
  3. Despite the fact that many talk about it, I have not played Minecraft and COD. It’s not that I don’t want to try them, but I can’t play all these games can I? What are don well known games that you have not played?
  4. I have heard quite a number of gaming superstitions while growing up. Though I believe them at first but I eventually found them all to be myths. One that I know of very well is that pressing the buttons on the controller rapidly before a game brings good luck. Some also believe that if you eat certain snacks before playing (like energy drink and chocolate), it can improve your gaming performance. What gaming superstitions do you know?
  5. There are people that love to have a gaming collection. Once they play a game they add it to the collection, just to keep track of the games they play. These people find it hard to lend or give out games anyhow, just looking at them gives enough satisfaction. Do you also keep record of the games you play?
  6. There are some quotes that pop up while gaming that can be annoying. I don’t like seeing a quote so overused or in high pitched voices. The likes of “Finish him! Prepare to die!” I wish I can skip them. What quotes from games kind of annoy you?
  7. While we enjoy our favorite genres, there are some genres that we just can’t bring ourselves to like. For me I can’t really get into Battle Royale. I don’t fancy competitive games, especially if it’s not solo. I can’t imagine letting my team down or losing by an unknown and unforeseen attack. Which genre is hard for you to get into?
  8. For someone that is a fan of comic books, what games would you recommend? I know a few ones like the Arkham series and Spider-Man. These games really bring the comic books to life. What other comic based games would you recommend?
  9. Nintendo acquiring 100% of Monolith Soft is definitely big news in the gaming world. Monolith Soft is best known for developing the Xenoblade Chronicles series, which has garnered a strong following due to its engaging storytelling and expansive worlds. By fully acquiring Monolith Soft, Nintendo can ensure that the studio continues to create high-quality RPGs that align with their vision. This move could also mean more support and resources for Monolith Soft, potentially leading to even better games in the future. Source
  10. I play games to relieve stress and enjoy myself. So if the games I play give me stress then I will move on. It rarely happens though, but if it does I don’t waste my time.
  11. We are in the last month of the year. For most of us it has been a year full of gaming experiences. If you were asked to choose, what is your best game of the year?
  12. There is a reason people use games as a getaway from the real life. We try to do things that seem hard hard to do or challenging in real life. So it’s not just about irresponsibility, but we want to do things that we are not able to do in life when we play games.
  13. I can’t even wait to get home to play it. If possible I will connect right there where I bought it and start playing. I bought it with my hard earned money, I don’t know why I will keep it boxed up again.
  14. I try my best not to make use of any cheat, at most I will look for hints. Whenever I use cheats I feel like it’s not my own achievement and I don’t like that feeling.
  15. When you get better at anything and you start winning, it is obvious that you start building confidence in yourself. Whenever I want to play PES with my friends especially, there is this confidence I have. First of all I am good at it, so it’s a challenge for them to win me. So this gives me some kind of boost. Do you think getting better and winning give more confidence?
  16. There are many video games characters that you cannot help but feel sorry for. They are lonely and have no one to relate with. I will choose Chell from the portal games. She had nothing but AI for company, who even made attempts to kill her a few times. Who would you say is the loneliest game character?
  17. Some of my friends are jovial, but when it comes to gaming they become too serious. They do not smile and make jokes, they are so fixated on their games and how they will win. I did not really like this, but I’ve come to understand that everyone with their attitude towards gaming. When you play, are you the overly serious type?
  18. During the weekend I can go about an hour playing games, and sometimes it can go higher than that if I am playing multiplayer. This only happened during the weekends though, I can’t afford that during weekdays. You longest gaming session was how long?
  19. Games that do not really feature multiplayer, like super Mario and Tetris. I play them on my own always.
  20. I have lost count of the number of games I have mispronounced. We basically just pronounce it what everyone does, whether it is right or not. I know what I used to call Pokémon before I heard the right pronunciation, though I wells really young then.
  21. Mortal Kombat! I loved using Lu Kang and subzero a lot. Now that I think about it, I was way too young for the game. But it had no real effect on me.
  22. I don’t understand the use of cheats, especially when you play multiplayer and tournaments. I find people that do so annoying, it is fine if it used in single player mode. But multiplayer is a capital No.
  23. I usually put it off for some days before I get back to it. By then I will be able to approach it with a fresh mindset. One thing I find hard to do is to rush through a game even though it’s stressing me out.
  24. That has been a massive change and improvement if we are to compare 50 years ago and now. So I believe there will be the same change and even greater one in the next 50 years.
  25. It was a multiplayer game with my friends, we were playing FIFA. I was down one goal in the final fifteen game minutes, but eventually won. When I scored the last goal in the last seconds, I pulled my shirt and did a knee sliding celebration in the living room. Remembering it always make me laugh.
