  1. I don’t think I have ever played those kind of games. I would have found it frustrating though, to not be able to progress because I don’t have in my possession what I’m supposed to.
  2. If the game’s difficulty is reasonable. It should not be too hard to complete and at the same time not be extremely easy. It should be balanced, in a way that makes me feel a continuous sense of accomplishment.
  3. Oh I so much love rescue missions. Situations where I get to save a character or a group of people from captivity or danger. The feeling when I succeed is sublime.
  4. Skipping cutscenes when I’m playing for the first time. I like to immerse myself in the story of every new game, not to rush it. So whenever I mistaken press skip I always regret it.
  5. It has added more fun to my life, so I will say it has affected it positively. It’s kind of hard to picture something else to do that can help me release stress and tiredness.
  6. Warcraft III: Reforged. Compared to the classic it has some nice upgrades and features, and also some upgrades in the UI and user experience. I love the addition of more cutscenes too.
  7. I actually enjoy it so much. I like the fact that I can immerse myself in the game, and I get a sense of accomplishment when I look at the inventory of what I have built. It’s so much fun for me.
  8. When I was playing super Mario everyday, that was like 2008. It was such a memorable time of my life, just thinking about playing makes me excited.
  9. My school was quite different. Any kind of video game was frowned upon. I could remember my principal saying that video game is evil, and if we want to go far in life we should avoid it completely. The lies we were fed.
  10. Not only has it helped me make more friends, it has made me have better conversations with gamers. I have also made quite some online friends as well.
  11. There is no need to have crosswords with such ones. I warn them sternly to be careful of what they say and I just leave the scene. It’s not just worth it.
  12. I know of a few games I have played because I read reviews about it online. Some I heard them from conversations that I have with others. So the power of reviews should not be underestimated.
  13. If they do not have a sense of humor then I will pass. Being able to banter your opponents makes the gaming experience much more fun and interesting. So if you take everything too seriously, then you won’t make it fun.
  14. Red dead redemption 2. The game has a rather slow pacing and pays excessive attention to details. It could be streamlined and made shorter for more efficient experience.
  15. I only have drinks, with straws so it’s easy for me to have a sip and continue. If I want to snack I put off the game completely and get back to it when I’m done. I don’t like being absent minded when I eat.
  16. Not knowing what to expect when you are about to play makes it all worthwhile. That is why I don’t like any form of spoilers for me. I want to figure it out myself as I play.
  17. I got a friend by play g multiplayer online. We have the same interest not only in games but in various aspects of life as well. We still talk often even when we don’t play.
  18. I used to play the game on mobile then, I think it’s still available. But it is totally different from what I’ve watched now. This looks more fun.
  19. Even though I double check my threads well before posting, I sometimes discover after posting that I have made some mistakes. But there is no way to make corrections due to the absence of the editing feature. Recently I posted some news updates, but it occurred to me that I should have added the reference links. Now I’m torn between leaving the threads that way or adding the links as comments. May I request the edit feature be added on threads please? Edit: So I discovered this one can be edited immediately I posted it. That means there is a time constraint. I hope it can be extended. Thanks.
  20. A UK resident, inspired by the legendary Master Sword from the iconic Zelda series, found himself on the wrong side of the law. The enthusiast was spotted carrying a replica of the sword in public, leading to his arrest and subsequent jail sentence. That has raised some questions. Did he disrespect public safety and weapon laws for carrying a game toy? Did the toy pose any real threat to life? Though it is worth being looked into if the said man had any past criminal records as well.
  21. The Nintendo president, Shuntaro Furukawa, recently stated that longer game development cycles are unavoidable in the current gaming landscape. During a shareholder Q&A session, Furukawa mentioned that game development has become more complex, prolonged, and advanced, necessitating the expansion of development resources and necessary investments. Longer development cycles are unavoidable due to advancements in hardware and software. I believe this highlights Nintendo’s efforts to adapt and evolve while maintaining their dedication to quality and innovation.
  22. A staggering statistic has surfaced, revealing that Steam users have collectively spent a whopping $19 billion on games they've never played! This mind-boggling figure highlights the sheer scale of the Steam library and the temptation to buy games during sales or on impulse. Some say that they bought the games in bundles, along with the ones they actually wanted Some say, hilariously that they are keeping the games for retirement. Let's be honest, who hasn't bought on impulse a game or two?
  23. In an impressive display of its global appeal, Zenless Zone Zero has officially reached a staggering 50 million downloads. This remarkable achievement actually highlights the game's immense popularity and its ability to captivate players worldwide. Since it’s release, Zenless Zone Zero has swiftly become a favorite among gamers, even with over 40 million pre-registrations recorded before its launch. To express gratitude, the developers are offering a special reward of 1,600 Polychrome, an in-game currency to its players.
  24. The beauty of gaming is taking the time to enjoy all the aspects and scenes of it. If I do not have the time to play I would rather suspend it than rush through it. I want to be able to relate it well to others after playing.
