They didn't put too many factors into consideration when going into development of this game and it came out to be a big flop after they first launch which is why they shut it down.

I have noticed this in all sports that a team doesn't always stay at the top all of their career and at a time they begin to manifest a much lesser performance different from what they were known for. There's is always the probability of getting back in shape and form maybe by changing the coach or getting a new player to fill the missing spots in the team.

I know man city dropped out of the champions league at the semi finals but checking the stats and their game play without even ignoring how coordinated the team is, currently there's isn't any team with a team spirit as High as mancity's they are always a force to be reckoned with on the pitch.
