  1. I only check walkthroughs if I get stuck in the game. I generally take main quests, and maybe a few side missions in games. Not sure of your question.😟
  2. I usually read walkthroughs. I don't have the best internet so it's easier to read walkthroughs than waiting for videos to load etc.
  3. Definitely laugh with it. It had robots but I don't really remember the story. I got it on PS now and played it on my PS 4.It really looked great. It wasn't groundbreaking but I have to admit it was very fun. That and the campaign on COD 3 are the only Calls of duties I 've played.
  4. Another example of parents not being parents IMO.I'm fairly certain the shooter was giving signs that he wasn't well mentally and no one checked into it.
  5. I usually try for a while and then look up a walkthrough to get past annoying/ difficult parts.I'm sooo dumb when it comes to even the most basic of puzzles in games.
  6. I'm a single player off line player so I won't be playing this.I did play the campaign of Black ops 3 ( I think) and it was much funner than I thought it would be.It was a blast which is surprising considering the other COD's.
  7. I played the resistance games back in the day. I think I played 3 of them on my ps3.They were fun. If they'd come out with a single player offline game I'd consider it. My guess would be if it comes back it would be one of Sony's live service game or something else that would suck.
  8. I sorta have a cycle of going through the Tomb raider,Stalker, wolfenstein and other games.I wish Rockstar weren't awful I might be able to play RDR2. Lotta folks like that game I tell u what.
  9. Mint was my first time really jumping into Linux. It's been 4 years and I just got Ubi connect to work on it so I'm basically Windows free sorta. It took a couple weeks but then I just simply like doing stuff on Linux more than on windows. Havn't tried Qubes but have tried Manjaro,Pop os,Zorin and one other I can't remember. They're all a little different but I still prefer Mint. Especially with games it is a bit more to do. Mostly just downloading proton stuff.I have meh internet so it sorta sucks but well worth it.Mint has a very good forum for help too so that helped me greatly in the beginning.
  10. Yes killamch 89 I agree. My 2nd least fave weapon is bows too. It's taken me years to be comfotable with bows for the same reasons you listed.I'd still rather have a different weapon than a bow if I can help it.
  11. Ah ok. I thought you meant original poster. All good my friend.
  12. Ya you can move it Shagger.I'm not sure where to post things sometimes. What does 'and its OP as hell' mean?
  13. I was gonna make this thread because I hate flamethrowers in games. I usually set myself on fire along with the bad guys. Then I was nosing around for a cheap game and came across dlc for metro and bought it. Then I found out the main weapon for the 2 colonels dlc is.......a bloomin flamethrower! It was a nice surprise as I am making good use of it. I only sometimes set myself on fire.😀 But anyway, what is your least fave weapon in games?
  14. I'm currently on Mint. I've tried so called gaming linuxes (pop os and manjaro) to try to get ubi connect to work with no luck.I can't really tell the difference as far as a gaming os goes. They mostly work ok but EA app and ubi connect I can't get to work on any of them.By all means, try other ones I'm fairly certain you're smarter than me. I really like Manjaro but I get around better on Linux.
  15. I get a little nervous when I clean my pc.I just take my time when I clean it.Try to clean it away from cats, dogs and toddlers. As far as thermal paste it depends. My cpu thermal paste has been fine for close to 4 years and it still stays cool.My rx 570 gpu runs fairly hot so I replace the paste on that about every year.Monitor your temps and when they go higher than normal that's the time to re paste the component that's overheating.(CPU or GPU)
  16. Right now crypto and nft's are a scam.I can get all the dlc add ons etc with 2 clicks of my mouse. How would crypto or nft's make this easier? All the people behind crypto talk about better gaming experiences and other nonsense that means nothing. They still don't know how to put the nonsense in games . Just marketing bullshit.
  17. I agree with Anders.I think of cult games as being obscure but have a small but passionate base. I'm part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. cult. COD battlefield, etc. are fine but I wouldn't call 'em cult games.
  18. I apologize for using the word triggered. Confused is the correct word. ' I am so sick of all this woke bullshit' is in the text but it's not really pointed out that she seems sick of the way republicans use the word. And I apologize again for trivializing the word triggered. It's simply a confusing title to me.I'm not the shiniest rock in the box so maybe it's me being dumb. 'Woke is bullshit' is a sentence a trumper would say. Along with being accused of being a SJW, being cancelled, or yes, being triggered. No problem I still love Black angel!🙂
  19. You might want to change the thread title.I'm from the left like you but the thread title triggered me like a thread titled 'abortion should be illegal'.It's your business if you are against being woke but you criticized the gop for using the word so it's sorta weird. I recently learned what being woke is. A black blues musician would say it to his fellow African Americans to be aware of potential violence or other things that may apply to being black in the south in the early 1900's. So of course the gop is against woke. It was used as survival and empowerment for black folks.
  20. Sony filed a copyright claim on the game so it's gone now thank god.
  21. Yes New Dawn is great fun. Sorta generic story but it was awesome. There's a weapon that shoots saw blades and it's just stupidly fun.Getting New Dawn is worth it for that alone. It's usually on sale, I wouldn't pay 40 or so for it.
  22. RvA ! Brother- man! We can talk some FC 5 but it's personally an electron away from politics. All I can say is I live a few hundred miles east of Montana and there is plenty of the Trumpy sentiments here.It took some of the enjoyment I had because it was so on the nose ,I think UK folks would say. Post something in Politix and I'll respond.
  23. An American. An American would give a squirrel a gun.😉This just might be fun. They have the movements of a squrrel down pretty good.I'll keep an eye out for this.
  24. I've played a few of them. I also think Dishonored sounds great in theory but I didn't really like it. There are a TON of people that love it so maybe I'm missing something. I get about a third of the way into it and just get bored and quit.I tried bloodborne but it's too difficult for me. It has a really good environment/vibe though. I've played all the uncharted games and they are awesome.TLOU 1 and 2 are among 2 of the best games I've played in 40 years.I played a DMC demo and it was fun.Sword action if I remember correctly.I've played all the main infamous games and they're great fun.
  25. I played this until the first big boss.At that point I only had a shotgun and the electric pistol. The boss is a big rolling ball so you have to shoot him from a distance. Shotgun sucks at a distance and the electric pistol loses its charge eventually. So after many retries and still getting killed I thought I'd be able to lower the difficulty and get past the ball boss. Nope. Can't change the difficulty once in the game. I un installed it after that.IDK if I was supposed to have a better distance weapon by that point in the game or what but it sucked. It does have a bit of fun but I'm done with it. And I've never been able to dis able a robot because I don't know wtf I'm supposed to do when I'm behind them. No tips on the tutorial. And the QTE's aren't explained so it took me a while to figure those out after getting choked to death by a robot a bunch of times.
