We may see a remake/remaster of red dead redemption in the maintime while we are waiting for rdr 3 but if i had to choose i'd much rather see them remaking Red Dead Revolver (the first game in the series) with updated controls as it's often overlooked guessing not too many even played that one and Since rockstar started getting on the remaster bandwagon it's not an entirley far fetched idea. I don't know about you guys but i'd rather have Rockstar reviving the La noire ip above anything else.

Fans have no other choice then to buy fifa if they want to play a football game with the latest roster updates. That is a major problem with sport games these days, you have one option and thats it. You and i both know Ea understands that full well even if we're lazy with our games those "suckers" are going to buy it anyway because what else is there on the market. Ever since konami fucked up pes, Ea has no competition anymore so they can get away with anything and fans have to stick up with their shit. While not on the subject i'm getting kind of worried now that codemasters is under the ea banner, their F1 games have always been top notch, are they going to go in downward spiral aswell now ea owns them let's hope not.

Like with anyhting in life some loved it others diden't, as i haven't played dangerous driving myself, can't really say wheter it's good or not. I may pick up a copy one of these days since it's fairly cheap like around 20 bucks for that price i'm willing to take a chance on it. You know there is this other game called Onrush :

Your favourite racing game series of all - time?
Yaramaki replied to Justin11's topic in Gaming Forum
Lol Monster energy logos are everywhere these days since they pretty much sponser anything these days, you'd be starting to wonder if they even turn a profit from sales because of all the advertising they do all the time.- 79 replies

Your favourite racing game series of all - time?
Yaramaki replied to Justin11's topic in Gaming Forum
Monster energy is the title sponser of the series the game is based on hence the title and you know pretty sure they give milestone a huge sack of cash for naming the game like that. I can't help it but i find milestone their games unfinished most of the time, they have been crapping out several games each year of mostly mediocre quality, especially the loading times are awfull. I mean do we really need 2 motorcross games each year (mxgp and monster energy supercross) it's a sport that is already niche in itself and on top of that you have motogp releases yearly and i've read somewhere milestone is working on a game based on the world superbike series a bit too much for a small studio if you ask me. Also justin you should check out the ride series, imo the better games from milestone, kind of the gran turismo of motorcycling games but just not as polished.- 79 replies

I'm suprised nobody has even mentioned Dangerous Driving in this thread, it's made by people who were behind the first few burnout games and is often seen as a spiritual successor to the burnout series. I've not played it myself so i can't judge on the game, but it's as close to a good burnout you're going to get :

For a football player that is still active think i'll go for Kevin De Bryne who seems like a genuine humble person, despite being the best midfielder in the world, you don't hear people talking about him quite often compared to messi and ronaldo. While we're at it he is probably the best Belgian player in the history of the game. My other answer would've been ayrton senna.

Lol Guess i'm the only one still buying video games. Must say that i'm starting to enjoy this bargain hunting for current gen stuff it always pays off to hold off and wait for a deal to happen. I'm not going too crazy ( for my doing) just games i'm going to play someday well whenever that is. The first game i'm going to play is definately road 96 well after i finish up watch dogs legion, monster crown seems like a pokemon clone i never really knew it existed until i saw it, folks may keep an eye out for this one. Before you ask me why the fuck did you buy need for speed, it was 9,99 for that price i'll take a chance on it. Open country i had to import from the us, it's supposed to be one of the better hunting games out there, like we don't have enough of those already. The forgotten city as far as i know, was a skyrim mode so i'm kind off curious to see how the two compare. Now dude where is the japanese stuff, hold on i'm just waiting on one package to arrive then i'll post my haul from japan for the month of april.

Getting Stuff with a Pay Pal Balance using Apps
Yaramaki replied to Jayson's topic in Technology & Gadgets
I use paypal for pretty much all my online purchases, it's just the easiest way to buy online, never had a problem with paypal and you're pretty much covered for 180 days should something happen. I haven't tried paypal with apps but doubt it will since i don't really see the point in paying groceries with paypal, why not just use a debit card for that. -
I don't know i had this game when i was a kid, it ain't bad but it's not good either. Best thing about sonic spinball were the bonus stages, those were actually better then the main stages imo and offcourse the cover art was and still is amazing which sold me on the game when i was still a young lad.

Is it wise to spend money on free to play games?
Yaramaki replied to kingpotato's topic in Gaming Forum
Don't know why i never followed up to this but better later then never. I've been messing around a bit with a few free to play games in the app store on my dad his old ipad to get a better idea of free to play games. Well needless to say it wasn't the greatest experience i've had, one game blocked me entirely after about 10 minutes because my daily time playtime was up and wanted 4,99 to continue, eh fuck it deleted. So i tried a random rpg who's name i forgotten already and low and behold i immediately was welcomed with a screen to buy their shit, i played it for about half an hour and yeah while the game was not that half bad i'd much rather prefer they charged money for it and be done with it instead of reminding me after every battle i can have a better experience for only 9,99. Yeah no I'm not gonna fall for this shit. The problem there is with these "games" they will be gone in a few years time and you mostlikely will not have the option to continue playing said game because correct me if i'm wrong most woulden't function anymore without an internet connection. If you have spend money on them it's gone, if you happen to feel nostalgic and want to play that free to play game you loved 10 years ago, you probably can't. You could say the same with multiplayer games, once the servers are gone the game is gone. Remember MAG on the ps3 yeah me neither but it is one of many games that is lost in time and 99,9% Of those free to play games will end up with the same fate, so my conclusion it's not wise to spend money on free to play games, you're better off buying a gift for your mother ( it's mothers day next week )or spend it on a real game. To conclude if you make it this far is why i feel like games are becoming more and more consumables, products of their time, with zero intention of being preserved for the future and to me it feels like nobody gives a fuck about that. Music and movies are preserved fairly well, why not videogames even if they are free to play. Damn kind of went on a rant but feels good to spit it out nonetheless. -
Lol, i created this thread but never really got a straight answer from anybody. A time exclusive is : A release of a game on one platform , with releases on other platforms to occur only at a later date. For example Tokyo ghostwire is supposed to be exclusive to ps5 for a year orso, before it gets released on xbox/pc. My question was : what do you think off this practice? is it a good thing or a waste of money for a company? My answer : it's a waste of money and does the game more harm then good, for example rise of the tomb raider was exclusive to xbox for a year and that did the game more harm then it did good.

I'm running behind on pokemon games since i've yet to get pokemon legends and the one that was rereleased last year what was it diamond/pearl. Would you say it's as easy as let's go eevee/pikachu? Since That was the last pokemon game i played, i can see for an 8 year old that may be the best game ever made, but as a grown up i don't know man, i felt like an idiot with that pokeball in my hand. Difficulty in games it's a subject for debate or maybe another thread as whole, i personally play just on the default setting, if it's way too easy i may up it a bit but that happens rarely, i just want to have a good time and to be honest i get frustrated pretty easy if i can't get past something. Life is already stressfull enough 😉

As title says what video game genre did you played a lot back in the day but not so much or not at all anymore these days? For me it's : Fighting games -> I just don't really have the time and patience to put hundreds of hours into a fighting game in order to become good at it anymore. I used to put hundreds of hours into games like street fighter, mortal kombat, king of fighters, guilty gear, etc etc to master every fighter. I still play and buy some but just for the story mode once i beat that i'm usually done with the game. This used to be my favourite genre for years but now eh. First person shooters -> used to play a lot of them but just for the campaign but since those become either absent or shorter with every new release, can't say i've played a fps in years. Real time strategy -> used to play a ton of settlers and age of empires 2 back in the day on my dad's pc. I feel like Rts games you need to play on pc, sure some work fine on consoles like civililaztion 6 amongst a bunch of others but i would much rather play these with a mouse and keyboard, needless to say if i was to play them these suck up a lot time. Platformers -> Pretty much the dominant genre in the early 90 ies, every console had dozens of them. I really loved platformers up until a few years ago, these days whenever i try to play one, i lose interest quickly and you know i just find them boring.

What video game do you think of the most in general?
Yaramaki replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I think this may be the most fun you'll have with a game in quite a while, if there is one thing about wreckfest that is memorable is that it's just pure fun. There is something about driving around lawnmower with 20 ai trying to trash you and the others and you have to survive as last, or you driving around a shredder trying to destroy as many lawnmowers ai's as possible al the while some metal is playing in the background. I'm more a fan of the races and in some cases you're just to sole surviver., it's pretty unpredicatble and choatic at times and you may get trashed yourself more often then not. Ah you sounded like you already played it but yeah by all means get it. Be sure to post your oppinion if you ever get it, as i'm quite curious if you'll agree with me -

Yaramaki replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Man Wreckfest is such a hidden gem, i completed it 100% and enjoyed every moment of it. The music was great aswell! Btw If you like wreckfest, you should give Flatout total insanity a try it's avaible on ps4/xbox one, it's great fun aswell, maybe not as good as wreckfest but if you like wreckfest you should atleast look into it if it's worth your time (and money) -
I've been waiting for this game to come out physically which happened 2 weeks ao, when i saw the trailer it immidiatly peaked my curiousity. Seems like a game that deserves more attention so i'll do my part. I've yet to play it so can't really comment on it. I'll just quote the game discription : Summer 1996, Today is the day! You hit the road. Adventure. Freedom. Escape. Run. Flee the Regime. Try to survive. On this risky road trip to the border, you’ll meet incredible characters, and discover their intertwined stories and secrets in an ever-evolving adventure. But every mile opens up a choice to make. Your decisions will change your adventure, change the people you meet, maybe even change the world. There are thousands of roads across the authoritarian nation of Petria. Which one will you take? FEATURES Road 96 is a crazy, beautiful road-trip. The discovery of exciting places, and unusual people on your own personal journey to freedom. An ever-evolving story-driven adventure inspired by Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, and Bong Joon-ho. Made by the award-winning creators of Valiant Hearts and Memories Retold. Announced as part of the OMEN Presents initiative from HP Inc. Moments of action, exploration, contemplative melancholy, human encounters and wacky situations. Set against a backdrop of authoritarian rule and oppression. A stunning visual style, a soundtrack filled with 90s hits, and a thousand routes through the game combine so each player can create their own unique stories on Road 96. Check out the trailer below :

Has to be Dr eggman or Dr robotnik whatever you wanna call him from the sonic series. Vaas from far cry 3 i'll give an honorable mention.

Lol skyrim man i always hated how easy the dragons were to kill, on the default difficulty if you're leveled up a bit you can kill them in a couple of blows. Also when i think back of it, most missions were about clearing either a cave/castle/tomb and kill everithing inside it, rinse and repeat. ->Breath of the wild : while a classic no doubt, breakable weapons and shields always annoyed the fuck out of me. ->Pokemon games i always found a little too easy, should have an option to make it more difficult -> and on the contrary Dark souls games should have the option of a more easier mode for gamers who just want to experience the game and the world, without having to go trough endless frustration because you can't beat an area. ->in most open world game the car physics feel way too off, like why does the car behave like you're driving on ice.

Video game characters you wanted to see more of?
Yaramaki replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I think pretty much any side character in the yakuza series could have their own spin off game especially in yakuza like a dragon, your 3 companions are worthy of their own game, let's just hope they bring atleast some back in a future game. There are characters that you play in yakuza 4 and 5, like one is a cop and the other is a former baseball player it would be cool to know what they are up to now since they only appear in one game. Sadie and charles from rdr 2 are also deserving of their own game but i've brought those up already too many times. There are so many more i could list like : - Garrus and liara from mass effect - Lambert, eskel, ciri, yennefer and trish from the witcher series - Zelda should also become a playable character in future zelda games - hell why not make a street fighter or mortal kombat game and make it an adventure/rpg hybrid with one or two characters from the series. -
It's usually just to sqeeze a few hours of extra gameplay out of the game and let's not forget tie an achievement/trophy to it and you're good to go, if they woulden't why would anybody bother. I'm guilty of this myself because there is something satisfying clearing out an entire map, i've done it pretty much with every open world game i played just to get that elusive trophy/achievement and once it pops i feel like i've wasted my time.

Don't know too much about pokemon, they all start looking the same at some point. But i've always loved Scyther :

How much does bad voice acting detract from a game?
Yaramaki replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Bad voice acting doesen't really bother me as it's always good for a laugh. I was going to bring this up but you beat me to it, pretty much all ubisoft games have mediocre voice acting especially npc characters, yes i'm looking at you watch dogs legion. -
No i don't think their language is that bad, actually far from it but it's a common joke that people from holland think that belgians can't speak proper dutch that's why i call flamish a bastard version of dutch, well before someone else does it for me. I don't think learning a new language is that hard but most of the time you have to have a real interest in it and really want to learn the language,i know it's not always easy when you're an adult to make time for it on a daily basis. You know what really helps when there are people around you that speak the language you're learning as that is a massive help aswell, they can correct whenever you speak it badly or not correctly. Like i said if you want to learn spanish a big help is to play your games in english with spanish subtitles, once you've mastered it a bit, Start playing a game in spanish with english subtitles.

I don't have any brothers or sisters but i'm very close with my parents, Not only are they my parents, i also consider them as friends altough i know i shoulden't, they were always very understanding and put up with all my shit over the years, i feel like they are the most important people in my life. The rest of my family i see maybe once or twice a year, most of my family do their own thing and i find it good that way.
