@killamch89You made a valid point about older VR headsets becoming obsolete very quickly. This is the reason why it's very essential to consider the limitations and compatibility issues you might face in the future.

I completely agree with you. The trailer for STRIDE: Fates looks very incredible, and combat mechanics seems to me like a perfect fit for VR. Plus, I like the fluid movement too.

I understand your reservations about the combat, but what I think personally is that the the game's atmosphere and setting could really make up for it.

The best headstrap with battery to get for Oculus Quest 2?
Lens replied to Shortie's topic in Virtual Reality
Absolutely, the Elite Strap with battery is a great choice for me, but it's also worth considering other options like the GeekVR Battery Head Strap as well. It can definitely offer unique features like hot-swappable batteries which is cool to me. -
That's exciting news because the possibility of PC adapter for PSVR 2 is indeed a blast. It would definitely make the headset more appealing to PC gamers.

The Bootstrap Island does look like an exciting VR experience and I think that the early access release on Steam VR is a good starting point for the gamers.

it's great that it offers a more comedic genre and it makes it a fun experience for the players. This is exactly what added an extra layer of nostalgia and familiarity as well.

The addition of the games catalog to Meta Quest+ is nothing but a fantastic move because it provides even more variety and convenience for subscribers.

I've played it myself and it's so amazing how it’s physically engaging. It's definitely a fantastic way to get yourself moving and burning calories while having fun at the same time.

Titanic: A Space Between - New PC VR game coming soon
Lens replied to Kane99's topic in Virtual Reality
It's true that the combination of the Titanic's tragic history and horror elements has the potential to actually create a truly unsettling experience. This is just the truth and coupled with the fact that VR adds an extra layer of immersion and it makes it feel even more intense. -
I've actually played the Job Simulator, and it's an absolute delight for everyone.I loved it when I'm trying out the different roles, from office worker to chef. It’s so amazing.

I wouldn't say being on the VR all day is impossible but it should be determined based on how the person playing feels like staying that long on the game.
-
I haven't played Gorilla Tag, but I heard from a friend that it's a blast. The game's unique concept of playing as gorillas is really interesting because it's physically engaging based on what I heard.
-
To be honest with you, I'm so impressed by the game's language options. Ten different languages is a whole lot. What makes it more appealing is the addition of online multiplayer mode and the combat mechanics. I can't wait to jump on it.

Are you going to buy PS VR 2 for PC when the PC adapter releases?
Lens replied to Kane99's topic in Virtual Reality
I'm definitely interested in getting it based on what I read but the additional $60 cost is a bit steep for me. -
I completely agree and I see the Arcade Paradise VR like a love letter to the classic arcades. The whole idea is really a genius and i’m so excited to try out the various arcade games as well.

Compound - Randomized rogue-lite shooter for PS VR2
Lens replied to Kane99's topic in Virtual Reality
From what I've seen, the game is receiving praise for its fast-paced action. The retro graphics have added some level of charm and I can see that players are also adding to the overal excitement as well. -
This is really unfortunate especially for the affected employees, but what makes it less worrying is the fact that they'll receive severance and career assistance. This is a pointer and a clear indication that gaming industry is going through a tough time this period.

Open world games where the exploration/”open” part felt unnecessary?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
For me, it was No Man's Sky. The vast open world felt very empty and repetitive and I didn't feel even like I was discovering anything meaningful. -
I agree with you. I saw a cosplay, Bloodborne and it was the Hunter, but was made entirely out of paper mache and fabric. It's so fascinating.

Which studios and publishers are the worst at marketing?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I agreed that Bioware is not being great at marketing. I'd like to add Bethesda to that list. What I noticed is that they always seem to hype up their games too much, and then they fail to actually live up to expectations.
