Games that didn’t meet your expectations, but which you liked anyway?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I was angry at first with the narrative of Fallout 76 due to it bad storytelling and having no human non-playable characters. However, its enormous open environment, the way it was controlled, and social components keep me engaged after paying more attention to the game. -
I still remember less-known and beautiful games like Hollow Knight or Hyper Light Drifter which provide unbelievable experience for a fraction of that price. Smart gamers will always look for value not for the hype.

Have you played any game that sharpen your maths skills?
Lens replied to Knight Barida's topic in Gaming Forum
Braid is another puzzle game that requires mathematics especially with aspects to do with time and space. -
That is true! but some mobile games are very complex for instance, The Escapists. While the graphics may not be up with console standards but they are great for quick grab and easy to play on the go.

Has anyone’s main POV preference changed over time?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
While growing up, I played mostly third-person games, but after discovering the STALKER series, I immediately transitioned to first-person for FPS and survival games. -
Any games you play in the POV that was not intended as the main choice?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I prefer playing Fallout 4 in third-person view, despite the game's focus on first-person exploration. -
Did you ever play/discover a game only after seeing its adaptation?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The Witcher Netflix series led me to explore the games. I was captivated by the show's fantasy world and characters, and the games offered a richer, more immersive experience. -
I choose the Sea of Thieves. The adaptive soundtrack actually responds to the pirate adventures.
-
I feel compassion for the suffering Countess Millona of Skingrad in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Her sad story and her helplessness affected me. I kept visiting her with all sorts of help and tokens due to my desire to enhance her life.

For what games have you watched the most additional material?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I have read the developer diary, interview, and watched behind the scenes videos of The Witcher 3. -
In This War of Mine, the responsibility of civilians’ management during war, making the choices and bearing the consequences was too emotional. I just couldn’t get myself to play it again.

Games where you had to make spreadsheets, checklists, etc.
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
With the help of Spreadsheets in Civilization VI, I was cultivating city-state relationships, developing and exchanging resources. I use the data visualization to help in making decision. -
Kano is a brutal fighter in combat, and Shang Tsung is quite a clever strategist, which is cool. The fact that they both have vast background and are characterized as evil just makes them valuable part of Mortal Kombat.

Trailers and games that are very different from each other
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The 2017 Starwars Battlefront 11 trailer emphasized space battles, and a great single-player experience. But instead we got microtransactions, loot boxes, and a very shallow story. -
Art styles you would like to see used in games that haven’t been?
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I like the idea of unusual color schemes in graphics. To make it more appealing, it should have a retro style. This might build a distinctive image. -
What game did you play by chance but turn out to love?
Lens replied to Kennysplash's topic in Gaming Forum
Hyper Light Drifter was the game. That is a game I found during a gaming convention. The eerie music got me hooked. The gameplay was rather difficult, which I enjoyed as well as the emotional plot. -
What game characters bear a resemblance to your life?
Lens replied to Kennysplash's topic in Gaming Forum
That's a very good question. Link from The Legend of Zelda inspired me in a lot of ways .His courage, perseverance, and willingness to learn is what got me attracted to him. . -
When I collaborate with other players and share idea, it's easier to create my own fun. This makes the game very immersive.

Longest mission you’ve played with no save points
Lens replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
That's pretty intense. The complex z Battle really demands severe concentration and patience to understand. -
It's very frustrating sometimes that games often overlook this very important thing. I think they should providing more interactive options, like negotiating with or healing hostile NPCs

If a community is toxic, I won’t be rude, but I will quit. There is no need to be drawn into an argument. Entertainment and fatigue are opposite each other, and gaming must not leave you exhausted emotionally.

Saving has really helped me to keep track of my progress and I'm always on top of my gaming. So, I make it an habit to save all the time.

This is a combination of retro and the modern FPS. It's going to be so intense. Now looking forward to the full release.
