  1. I might get it if it starts off from a new slate and I don't need to watch like 30 hours of recap to understand the plot.
  2. Imo if a game is enjoyable then it's automatically a good game. They're designed to be fun after all. There are many games which are considered conventionally bad which I enjoy such as Darksiders 3 and Aragami 2.
  3. Yes some games are bloated with collectibles nowadays. DBZ Kakarot is a good example of this. The open world is absolutely scattered with orbs and other things floating around and it's an eyesore.
  4. In single player I don't like handicapping myself but if there's something which breaks the game in some way then I'd refrain from using it. Online, I try to stick to mid stuff so that I feel each of my wins and losses are fair.
  5. Serperior. He looks so regal. Hopefully he gets dual Grass/Dragon typing when the Gen 5 remakes come out.
  6. Definitely a powerful veteran. I love it when games click and I just feel really badass mastering everything and feeling like i've gotten a lot better. The newbie phase is always the most awkward for me.
  7. You'll love it. Probably the best ratchet game out of the one's i've played. Amazing gunplay amazing graphics.
  8. Yeah definitely. It especially feels so great to use when you first try it.
  9. I agree. I can handle a little stuttering but 30fps just feels so rough. It feels like it's perpetually stuttering.
  10. Darksiders 3. Metroidvanias can be 3D too.
  11. That plat felt pretty tedious to me. Then again back then I treated it like it was a job, I didn't have much of a desire to go back and play more HZD after beating the game.
  12. I used to trophy hunt hard and pride myself on trophies(esp platinum trophies) but eventually it came to a point where I would just stop caring about fun and when considering playing a new game one of the big questions on my mind would be "Is this game on PlayStation 4? If i'm going to play it I want to boost my trophy score and/or be able to platinum it someday". Sounds very shallow right? I also set myself strict goals to platinum certain games. Even if I wasn't having fun and would rather play another game, I forced myself to get these plats. Eventually I took a break from gaming and came back and decided not to bother with trophies whilst I was getting back into the groove of things, then I realized how much more liberating it feels not focusing on trophies and just having a good time instead. Nowadays I realized how stupid it was making what should essentially be a hobby or a passion into something akin to that of a job. I wont lie, I still feel a shot of dopamine every time I see that shiny "Trophy unlocked" notification in the corner of the screen and appreciate it but it's more of a background thing that compliments the game to me now rather than sacred relics that I have to keep hunting to stroke my E-dick and validate my "gamerhood". I cringe looking back on it. Anyway, i'll stop here. What are your thoughts about trophies. Love them or hate them? Or do you not feel any strong opinion towards them?
  13. They dont feel necessariy and I find the main plotline more interesting. The side quests just feel like filler narratively that arent connected to the main plot, I don't find them entertaining at all. I only feel the urge to complete them if I need XP for certain equipment or to level up if i'm underlevelled.
  14. Like a day at most. That backlog isn't going to play itself.
  15. Sephiroth feeels amazing to play competitively
  16. I would say Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart but Deathloop is a close second. In general, shooters benefit the most from it because of the way adaptive triggers can simulate tension and recoil.
  17. Beating it? Idk, about 50 hours I think(I spent a lot of time messing around in the overworld). Platinmuing it? Around 90 hours.
