Horizon Forbidden West has to be the most graphically overrated game of recent times. The cutscenes look kind of next gen but the overworld looks a lot like zero dawn. Aloys hair is one of the worst offenders like you said. There's a lot of clipping with the bow as well. It's a shame, the graphics could have looked much better if they didn't hold it back for PS4.

I agree usually it doesn't look any different, just that I think when you're right next to certain textures sometimes there is more intricate details like cracks in the wall compared to it being grainy.

Whilst so far it seems to be the weakest graphical leap compared to previous gens, there is a noticeable difference up close with some textures. When you're close to a wall for example it looks more detailed compared to PS4 games where it looks all grainy and there is very little detail.

Well its weird like sometimes when I don't strain myself to immerse I enjoy it and feel immersed but that makes me want to concentrate to keep enjoying the story which ruins my immersion.

It's really weird, when I try focusing as hard as possible i'm constantly thinking "concentrate" which paradoxically makes me unable to focus but when I dont and just watch cutscenes and stuff in a more laidback manner I dont feel properly immersed in the plot and miss out on some bits of information. It's a first world problem but its driving me insane lol. I just cant connect with it at all. I'm thinking of doing meditation to clear my mind before my next gaming session.

ghostrunner is pure genius.

The connection is both the PS4 and XP have really slow loading times and feel/look dull to use.

I agree, newer games are usually better although its not rare to see older games which are better than their successors.

Lichdom Battlemage. Shame, the game other than that was really promising.

Either Devil May Cry 5, Doom Eternal or Ghostrunner.

Lots of micromanagement variables like stats you have to keep up with and are usually story focused.

It's annoying but caffeine helps.

With all due respect many great games came out of that gen but everything felt super slow and user-unfriendly: - 30fps on everything - Minute long load screens - Slow transitions to different sections of the UI when you click on a tile sometimes(as in the processor takes longer than normal) - Loud fan - Dull home menu elevator music and UIs(square boxed tiles) I'm so glad 9th gen fixed all this, it makes for a much smoother experience overall.

I would say marvel since they're not completely overpowered gods like DC characters are most of the time. Just street level superheroes/anti-heroes. I would definitely advise it. The PS3 games must be dirt cheap now.

Voice chat should be restricted to private on these lobbies

I rarely feel moved by a video game to do either. At most game plots interest me with the way events unfold but I rarely feel strongly emotional about the actual plot and what happens to the characters. I wish I was though.

I was watching the FG skit where peter griffin was fighting mr washee washee and this came to mind. They should make this just for the lulz.

The infamous games are amazing. Try it, you'll thank me later. A lot of people say second son is bad but dont listem to them, it's almost as good as the other two.

Most people just get one of the two. I do think it's a little bullshit how a few 'mons are locked to the other version though but it's nothing too serious.

No. 8th gen felt really long in the tooth back in 2020, I was already tired of playing everything with 2 minute load times and 30fps at that point. Whilst it's hard for people to get their hands on one, if it came out later no one would be able to right now.

Most people shit on it for being dystopian though

About the gameplay? It's just really fun. It's like GTA but with superpowers and you get to decide whether to be good or evil.
