  1. A game being cross gen, unless its a game that very strongly catches my interest or is part of a series i'm already invested in.
  2. Yeah, it's a shame it hasn't been ported on PS consoles already. Looks much more interesting and fun than the same old cinematic open world games sony pumps out.
  3. I don't mind there being no brand exclusives I just wish there were more next gen exclusives.
  4. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories(PS2) It's unplayable to me, it's only use is the cutscene movie since the story is actually pretty decent.
  5. I hope so but still not sure if they're going to try to get more PS5 units out. It's sony after all.
  6. That happens all the time in gaming. That's why you get soulslike, bamham like games, DMC like games. Some of which are pretty good.
  7. They say they're sticking with cross gen(so not built for the ground up on PS5) games until 2024/2025 and now this. Sony have gotten WAY too complacent and someone needs to humble them. Ditto goes for Nintendo too.
  8. The decade isn't finished so just go with what has been released so far. Favourite - Ghostrunner. Honourable Mentions - DOOM Eternal, Godfall, Deathloop, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Least Favourite - Returnal. Honourable Mentions - Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Horizon Forbidden West
  9. The concept is interesing and I find that combat having a role interesting rather than just killing enemies by speeding into them or jumping on them. But in it's current state it looks like a school project so if it doesn't get polished up i'll pass.
  10. Sony needs to make sure there are enough on shelves. The pandemic is over now, there is no excuse.
  11. What has been the biggest and most exciting hype train you've been apart of. Mine is Devil May Cry 5 but Pokemon X/Y is a very VERY close second. As for console hype trains, I would say PS5.
  12. I really like DMC games from Capcom. Street Fighter and Megaman are also pretty good. I don't really play any of their other IPs.
  13. Yeah. And that. To me those 4 and Ardyn are what carried it for me. I would have probably stopped playing if it wasn't for their fun brotherly road trip dynamic. I think more JRPGs can take cues from this and have more games where the party only has about 4 characters since that's part of why their dynamic works well.
  14. Understandable. I'd say the plot was almost bad but Ardyn really carried it nearing the end of the game.
  15. PS5(main console), Switch(secondary), PS3, PS2, 3DS.
  16. IMO: Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy X-2, Metal Gear Rising; Revengeance, Batman Arkham Knight.
  17. Guilty Gear Xrd and Dragon Ball Fighterz are my favourite productions from them. Blazblue is the one game that I don't particularly enjoy that much but its somewhat enjoyable its not a bad fighter, it just feels like it borrowed way too much from Guilty Gear, it kind of feels like guilty gear but with the controls flipped on it's head and a few other tweaks. If Capcom did that the competitive scene would have a meltdown and it would lose a lot of sales from the casual fans as well who aren't due to the more complex gameplay and anime visuals. I think it should stay as it is as a simpler grounded neutral footsies based fighter with its urban style. I think It's better for each fighting game to have their own flair even though arc sys style FGs are my favourite.
  18. Arc sys work is my fav because they make consistently top tier fighting games. I really like their deep air dasher combat stlye and anime visuals compared to other FGs which just feel bland in comparison. My least favourite is naughty dog because their games look very dull and I don't like the slow cinematic story heavy trend they set for modern gaming with Uncharted games and TLOU.
  19. Favourite - Arc System Works. Least Favourite - Naughty Dog
  20. Just to clear things up, the AI can only be used to do things within games like generate stuff like dialogue and building composition and enemy fighting patterns and stuff like that depedning on certan variables. It cannot have any sort of control outside of that. It cannot access the user interface or anything. Would you guys consider this still too dangerous?
  21. I'm only talking about them being used for gaming, not for anything else.
  22. I don't mean the "AI" we know now which is just a preset bot or CPU programmed with a set range of actions and responses. I mean AI that are able to think for themselves used for gaming purposes. AI being implemented in the future to enhance the gaming experience. By this I mean AI in place of preset NPCs, AI dialogue, AI cities, AI used to determine how NPCs fight you, AI being used to give games dozens of story paths which differ greatly depending on what you do. The possibilities are endless. I think this would really bring games to life and console makers and devs alike should invest in this.
