Would you rather lose the ability to lie or believe everything you’re told?
Altair replied to Empire's topic in General Chat
There is a movie about this called the invention of lying. Everyone tells the truth and no body can lie. Except for one person Mark Bellison who tells the first like in a bank. It's a great movie for anyone wants to see it. Thought I would share this movie since it relates to the topic. I agree. I could not have said it better then this. -
Same I always start with the default settings. I never go down either. Once I feel competent at the current settings I increase the difficulty.

I never used Beta cassette tapes. I use to have a huge collection of VHS. My sister, mom and I sold a lot of them at a garage sale we held because we thought DVD would become super popular and would be the future. It use to be so tiresome to rewind the VHS to the beginning after you finished the movie. I got so spoiled when DVDS that I never did go back to VHS.

I also forgot about this game but I use to play it all the time on the gamecube. Despite never liking the Simpons show I use to play it every day after school. Also as an adult playing it for hours.

PS2 was my first playstation console. I don't own a Playstation, Playstation classic, PS1, PS3, PS5 and PSP. I would like to get the PS5 though.

What was the worst movie you have ever watched?
Altair replied to DudeThatsErin's topic in Movies & TV
Zoom a 2006 movie about a washed up superhero who trains five ragtag group of heroes in training. I like superhero movies so I came across the movie so I thought I would watch it. It was terrible. -
I never knew they offered this service either. I leech off my mothers amazon prime. I use it to watch amazon prime shows and get discounts on shipping. Can't believe I did not know about this. 🤦♀️ The stelleris game looks really good.

Can you finish these famous Sheldon Cooper quotes from The Big Bang Theory?
Altair replied to DylanC's topic in Movies & TV
Terrible. I have not seen big bang theory for a couple of years though. -
Only True Big Bang Theory Fans Can Get A Perfect Score In This Trivia Quiz
Altair replied to DylanC's topic in Movies & TV
I thought I would get a higher score than that. 🤣 -
My friend wants a YouTube channel devoted to model trains...
Altair replied to Knight Plug's topic in Technology & Gadgets
This is a late reply. I agree. You should have been encouraging. The chances of making it big and earn a living from it are slim. Not everyone finds there passion and if he wants to a channel on trains power to him. He should do it. Editing is a great think to be able to do. There are a tons of tutorials out there that will help with that. Also a lot of free editors to start out with. -
I agree completely. There should never be a game where you have to pay to get items, gems exc to progress. It's such a rip off and should be considered taboo to do that. Unfortunately gaming companies get greedy and can do that people people will pay.

What instruments do you play? --- I draw shapes and characters from trees I see. Also other nature drawings. I also just sketch whenever I feel like it. I tinker with photoshop every once a while and have done photoshop manipulations.

I would like to ask the forum an extremely important favor
Altair replied to The Blackangel's topic in General Chat
This is a great community if you feel comfortable asking people not to do this. It is perfectly reasonable that you would ask of this. Phobias are hard to deal with. I'm sorry about your phobia. Same. I will put a tag or title in the photo letting you know so you will know. -
Interesting I did not find Jayson to be looking down on people who shop there by the tone of this questions. It is not convenient to shop at the dollar stop because there is not one super close to where I live. I have been to them before however and they are great to shop at if you need certain stuff.

Same. Now I picture water polo with this image in my head and I can't stop laughing. -- I have watched a bit of the olympic water polo matches years back so I know how its player. I don't play it or watch it though. I tried playing water polo for a week as a kid. It was super hard and did not care enough to continue it.

Golf is boring to watch. The announcers make it even more boring. They need an announcer like somebody in soccer.

Thinking of going to college. A couple issues. Need advice.
Altair replied to The Blackangel's topic in General Chat
I hope your astronomy club has been going well and I wish you the best of luck achieving your goal of getting a college degree in astronomy. Here is a really interesting Ted talk about math that I think you would like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6yixyiJcos -
I really like listening to tunes while gaming. I either listen to indie, classic rock or classical music when playing. Sometimes I play without music thought and like listening to the game sound.

I really like playing RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures so this seems right down my alley. Had not heard of planet coasters. I will have to buy the game and try it out.

Thanks for the information. I never heard about this game before. I have always wanted to design a golf course so this game seems super fun.

Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak?
Altair replied to Empire's topic in General Chat
It would be very hard in life to not be able to read. It would make things very difficult. However, I have tried to be deaf for a day due to being it a required class assignment in a sign language class I took and it was a bit challenging It would be less of a challenge as time went on. ASL (American sign language ) is beautiful and there is such a warm and community feeling with deaf people. So yeah I much rather lose the ability to speak. -
Driving around carts is quite fun. Regular golf is fun though. I have not played in years though. I really like mini golf though. Super fun in VR. I call in mini golf. Never called it put put in my life.
