Aspects of gaming you had to learn to appreciate
Clasher replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
For God of war you had to scale through a series of temple walls by strategically using your blade to hang to certain pillars or rings a single miss and you are starting the process all over again. It was fun to an extent but doing it over and over again just be able to scale the wall just as they required you to do it made me sick. Lol -
There would always the case of exaggerated stories just to make their story sound more appealing, but in any case I would still recommend spec ops to any one who likes tactical shooter games.

I was actually referring to the single player, I know modding isn't allowed for COD online modes so it was just a matter of curiosity when I saw a modded COD single player and just thinking about made me consider if I could try it out for myself.

I have checked them out , I even watched the video they did on power wash simulator and I kinda enjoyed it though 😅

I think that's could be true to an extent which is why I said it's a game you just wouldn't want to let go of without fully digesting it's contents. I did that too but not usually when my console dies. When I got my ps4 and still had my PS3 I sometimes go back to my PS3 console to play some of my previous games.

Upcoming game you are looking forward to playing?
Clasher replied to Nebulous's topic in Gaming Forum
The Lord of the rings: Gollum an action adventure video game is also on my list of anticipated video games. I was a big fan of the movie with this same title and the game is developed by Daedalic Entertainment studio, you get to play as Smeagol and during your adventures you get to witness his transformation into titular Gollum. -
Haha 😅 Cats are usually the cutest bunch and i think they deserve the attention at this time. Could be true that playing as a cat is what actually triggered some of the attention it is getting and that is really understandable because you sometimes only get to do that in simulators.

Thor isn't the attraction to me but Asgard in this case. Yeah God of war has always maintained their standards and I think they would do just that with Ragnarok.

Aspects of gaming you had to learn to appreciate

I really didn't like tasks which involved climbing and there wasn't anyway I could avoid it since it's a major part of God of war series, so at some point I had to adapt to it and learn how to enjoy it. -
I have never been in the military but I got friends who are currently serving in the army and stories they tell about the warzone is similar to what the developers were trying to portray. The gameplay was one of the downsides of the video game , but it was sure fun to play though.

I know you mentioned somewhere that you are a fan of COD. I have seen some really cool mods of COD warzone and but I haven't been able to get mine modified. Have you done modification for your COD?

Is there any such thing as "overhyped" or "overrated" video games?
Clasher replied to Clasher's topic in Gaming Forum
That's true This could be sentimental and at the same time patronising. And that's why I stated that those words could be used by Satisfied or dissatisfied gamer to demerit or praise a particular video game they think sucks or felt it was really good. -
Is there any such thing as "overhyped" or "overrated" video games?
Clasher replied to Clasher's topic in Gaming Forum
I know they aren't synonymous but they are used interchangeably In some cases because an overhyped game usually sells well which then becomes overrated if gamers are not satisfied with what they got. I didn't follow up much on Zelda, but I have a couple of folks who thinks Zelda BOTW is a massive success which deserves all accolades and hype and hence my question as it often a matter of personal observation and not general to say a game is either overhyped, overated and underated. what others might categorize as overrated or underated might not be the same for another. -
This Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer is a really good one.

Silly completionist things you did as a gaming newbie
Clasher replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I was always very indecisive in my video game choices, I have like a list of games I hope to get but with limited funds so I usually get stuck on which one should be taken off the list. On the day I want to purchase the game I just end up picking any game and just loose Interest in half the games on my list. -
I am always weak at night but I still manage to get some things done before going to bed at 1:am. Lately I don't stay up till that time again as I trying to have a weeks of good night rests, Maybe after this week I might get back to gaming at night again.

Yeah ,I am referring to the movie Thor, though that wasn't where I first saw a scene played on Asgard but it was the one that actually stuck to my mind and made me more interested in it. Santa Monica studio has been doing good so far I just hope they wouldn't disappoint with this one.

That's okay too. Maybe you could give it a try afterwards and give your own reviews about it.

Do you think 3D gaming will make a comeback? (3D TVs)
Clasher replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
That's true, VR is another of such innovation that could stand the test of time as well. Like I said it heightens the experience but you could still enjoy a video game even without the 3D effect. -
Videogame Franchises that outstayed their welcome?
Clasher replied to Yaramaki's topic in Gaming Forum
To an extent this is true, but you can't overlook the Change in graphics as you can't compare the graphics of FIFA 22 to any of the previous games off the series. I tend to get new sport games just so I could play the same game but with better well defined characters and player representation and that gives it a whole different vibe and experience in my opinion. -
The game is already out - was released last month.

I sincerely feel gamers expected way too much of this video game, long before the game was released I read about it and what it was going to be like so I never really expected the game to be something as spectacular as most gamers envisioned it to be. The idea behind the game is cool and I think there should start making more games like it but make them more challenging than stray is. Stray is one video game of its kind to even be talked about as much as this though.
