The Sims 4. Had a birthday party for a couple of my Sims, but nothing too exciting 😛 .

Chess... even as an avid player, I don't think it's physical enough to qualify.

It can be. But when it goes wrong, it can just make things even worse! Thus, when I game for stress relief, I usually play things like construction games, or revisit old nostalgic games that I know how to beat 😛 .

While that's true of some cinemas, it doesn't apply to all. For example, there's this little independent cinema where my girlfriend lives, that charges only £5 per ticket. And the food/drink is pretty cheap too: for example, I got a 300g box of shortbread for only £1! Of course, the seats weren't exactly luxurious (they were just wooden benches) - but still, it was a much more intimate experience than your typical multiplex!

The Sims 4 My longest-lived Sim finally died... she'd lasted for 170 in-game days, and had been with me since mid-2021. Made me sadder than it should have done, to be honest 😞 !

Tribal Wars. It was nothing but a time sink, where the winning strategy was to spend all day farming the surrounding villages (at the expense of having a life).

Nor can I - although, I wouldn't have gone into any arcades until the early 2000s, by which point Frogger wasn't exactly cutting-edge 😛 .

Not in an arcade, but I did play browser-based versions. Was quite good fun, but I was never much good at it!

[i]FTL: Faster than Light[/i] as an RPG might be quite fun... trying to get by with limited resources, whilst facing onslaughts from hostile enemy ships, it'd be pretty tense!

Yeah, the new rule sounds bad on paper, but Hungarian qualifying threw up an interesting result regardless! I think it still needs a few more races before we can assess it completely - but, the initial signs are good 🙂 .

Yeah, he'll struggle to do much with AlphaTauri... I'm certainly not expecting him to win races or anything 😛 . However, that's not to say he can't make himself noticed... if he can do something similar to what Alex Albon has done at Williams, that'll be enough to stand out 🙂 .

I'll throw a shout-out to Marcel Vos... I love his RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 content! His crowning achievement surely must be his "Universe Coaster", which takes longer than the age of the Universe to complete:

'Killed' is an exaggeration. It certainly hasn't helped them - but, they still offer a unique experience that can't easily be replicated at home. Watching a film on a 4K screen the height of an entire room with Dolby Digital surround sound, and watching the same film on an (oftentimes laggy) laptop in a home full of distractions, are two completely different experiences IMO. To me, watching it at the cinema feels more like an event. Admittedly, I don't go to them too often - but as long as I can afford to go every now and then, I have no plans to stop.

Yes, I do - and I've been following it since the 1997 season! It's my favourite sport, and I always look forward to watching the races - even if there isn't much of a championship battle this year 😛 . Of course, it's great to see the Honey Badger back on the grid... ideally, I'd like to see him at a more competitive team, but I'm just glad he's there 🙂 .

Banished (again). Up to 210 people in my village now... a far cry from when only 27 people survived that famine!

Not really... I'm not a big fan of horror games or FPS games, but even then I'm open to trying them! (Although, if a game is both an FPS and a horror game, it'll have to work *really* hard in order to please me 😛 )

Well, I guess there is that 😛 ! I started another game, and they survived this time... only to starve a few years later because they weren't producing enough food for their expanding population. I am trying to continue with what's left of my town - but, it's not easy!

Banished. Re-installed this after a few months away, and started a new game on the highest difficulty settings. I didn't build enough houses for my people before winter - and then, they all just froze to death. Maybe I should try on a slightly lower difficulty next time!

Transport Fever... haven't had much of a chance to play it lately, but I haven't forgotten it 😛 .

This song pre-dates me by some 21 years (it was released in 1969, whereas I was born in 1990) - but, I did listen to it a lot as a kid!

Not counting a game of chess which I played earlier today, it'd be The Sims 4, which I played yesterday.
