  1. As much as I would like to see Fortnite, seeing how the pro's play in tournaments on that game, there is zero chance I would be able to compete against that. Call of Duty is a game I used to play a lot and was a game I felt I could go into competitions and tournaments with around 6 years ago now but I have since taken a long break from Call of Duty and know I would be rusty. If I were to get back into Call of Duty with Black Ops 6 and got back to how I used to play, that could be a possibility if I ever wanted to compete.
  2. Agreed, I feel as though most tend to double down on their games by charging that amount and then adding more into the game in terms of microtransactions, issue is people will buy the game and use the microtransactions so the developers continue to do it.
  3. It's been a long time since I played any games with friends in person or through LAN, most of the time I tend to play with friends online or just my family in the same room nowadays. I do miss the LAN days, they were so much fun!
  4. I have to agree and say that the biggest problem with online games is not only the cheaters who ruin the games for everyone but also those who are toxic and like to ruin things for others as well with the things they say with no thought.
  5. The last game I played was Monopoly Go just a little bit ago starting on the new events that came out today. I did want to check out the Valorant Beta on Xbox but it turns out it is not available on my console so going to have to give that one a miss for now.
  6. I have not paid $70 for a game yet and don't believe I ever will. I will always wait for a sale or for the game to drop in price before I make the jump and buy the game, especially if I can't justify the $70 price tag.
  7. I always remember when I got my first mobile phone, I was 12 years old and I had started in secondary school which was a good 2 miles away from where I lived. My mum felt it best to get me a mobile phone so I was able to make contact with my parents or family should I need to. All my kids were allowed a mobile phone from around the same age I was due to them going into secondary school and that being a distance from home.
  8. This is the first time I am hearing about this mobile game. As someone who has played the Monster Hunter games in the past, I am quite interested in how this game works on mobile. Another game I can check out a little later today when I have some time 🙂
  9. At the moment I wouldn't say that I have a favourite mobile accessory. I have a phone and I have a case that I like that has a pattern rather than it being plain but that is about it. I have been thinking about getting a power bank as there have been times where I have had to leave the house for things such as appointments or even to go to A&E if my children have needed to and the anxiety I get when my phone is dying is never a nice feeling on top of everything else.
  10. This is a good question, I have a lot of old phones that I have kept in storage over the years when we have upgraded our phones over the years and I always wonder what else I could use them for other than as a backup to send and receive calls and texts. This is actually a good idea and one I am going to look into, can never have too many ways to make a little extra.
  11. The app that I would say I find most useful on my phone would be my banking app, it allows me to keep up with my in goings and out goings which in turns help me feel less stressed and anxious about money and finances.
  12. I have tried many different virtual pet games on my phone but none of them have ever been able to keep me interested enough to want to continue playing them. There was one that I started to play a few weeks ago called My Tamagotchi Forever, many had said it was similar to Tamagotchi's that we used to have when we were younger but I found it to be so much more different to what I remember.
  13. This game looks fun and interesting but it's not a game I have picked up as of yet. It's definitely a different game and one that looks as thought it would be a lot of fun to play through. Going to keep an eye out to see if their is any deals for this game the next time I jump on my Nintendo Switch
  14. I remember we had Wii Music, it was a game my mum bought for herself when she had the Nintendo Wii and she gave us the console when she stopped using it for my kids to use with Wii Music. We played the game a few times but it wasn't one of the greatest games and we found that we easily got bored of it.
  15. I have seen Amiibos still being released but from what I understand, there are no games at the moment that they could be used on like there used to be. We have some Amiibos that we purchased years ago but I can't say I have bought any recently.
  16. I only have the original switch but those who have been able to get hold of the OLED Nintendo Switch have said how great the screen is! I too prefer to play my Nintendo Switch on the dock so that I can play on the big screen but my kids don't mind playing handheld and have asked for the Nintendo Switch Lite in the past, my issue with the handheld is once you get stick drift, you are left with it.
  17. Nintendo has been around for many years and a lot of the games that we know Nintendo for you can't get on any other consoles. I also believe that the Nintendo Switch Online offers that they have when you are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online, including older games you can play on the Switch is another reason why they still even now sell so many consoles even thought their console is not as overpowered as others.
  18. I must have missed this as I had no clue they were available on the Nintendo Switch! I do love how much Nintendo offers if you are subscribed to their Nintendo Switch Online, especially the older games they are bringing back on the latest consoles! I will be checking out Mega Man now that I know it is available.
  19. It's a shame they made it so that it was not possible to switch the hard drives out from one console to another on the Xbox One but I guess in a sense, understandable with cloud saving that we have now. I always remember the hard drives on the Xbox 360 you were able to remove those and add them to another console, I did like that.
  20. I remember these faceplates very well, I never bought any myself but we did once buy an Xbox 360 from someone who had faceplates on the console, they were the only faceplates we ever owned, they were Forza faceplates and looked awesome on the console. It would be awesome to see customization like this again on the newer Xbox consoles but I don't know if we will ever see that again.
  21. At this point, I would save up and attempt to get the Series X, doesn't seem worth it now to get your Xbox One repaired and would make more sense to use that money and save it towards a newer console which will last longer than a repaired one.
  22. It would be a bad move for Xbox to get an exclusive Xbox title for Call of Duty, that is one good way to drive the fanbase away as has been said and it wouldn't be good for either the developer or Xbox. Keeping it the way it is, available on all consoles with no exclusives is the best way forward.
  23. I haven't played this game but I have friends who have played the game and they are enjoying the game and say they they would recommend it. The games does seem to be doing really well which is always a good sign.
  24. That trailer be looking good! This is the first time I am hearing about this game but the trailer has got me very much interested. I haven't played games like that in a long time but these kinds of games are something I have enjoyed in the past.
  25. This looks like an interesting game. I noticed that there is a demo available on Steam which is ideal to try the game before making the purchase, something I will be doing.
