I would love to see Xbox jump in with their own VR headset. As you say, other companies like Sony have done it so Microsoft and Xbox definitely have the possibility to do so. Maybe they feel it's not time yet for them either with releasing it or with it just being ready for release. I know Phil Spencer likes to make sure things are ready to go without issues when they make new releases or new announcements and it could be that even though they have something, he doesn't feel it is ready yet enough to be announced. I hope we hear something soon but it will be when people least expect it.

It's definitely something that does get you thinking but I do feel that even if Sega did release on, Microsoft would have still gone their way and created one anyway, this could very well be why they pulled out because they had plans to release something themselves anyway. It makes no sense though as to why Sega didn't release one anyway, it would have been interesting to see what they came up with.

I do remember my original gamer tag very well, still to this day I don't know why I chose it to be honest but I want to say it is because I couldn't have what I wanted outright so I went for this one instead and it was lilnikki86 I eventually changed it to have my username Shortie and then added 861 to it being that just Shortie was taken. It is now ShortieLive being that I also live stream and make content so it fits.

I agree. At the moment you only have the black for the Series X and the white for the Series S but having different colors would be awesome to see. I would imagine it is possible for Microsoft and Xbox to do it but would be quite time consuming which is probably why it hasn't been chosen as an option.

With my PC recently giving me some issues that would have resulted in me losing a lot of data and things I wanted to keep if I hadn't of had it backed up, I would have lost a lot of stuff. I ensure that I always backup anything I do not want to lose as frequently as I can so that if something does go wrong, I don't lose anything of importance.

If I had the space and the funds to be able to do this I definitely would. Not only would I love to be able to play the games but I know my kids would as well so this would be perfect to have in a room for everyone to use. Hopefully one day I will be able to do that.

No I never play more than one game on my PC. My main reason is because I only have one monitor at the moment so would only be able to focus on one game at a time but it's also because my PC is getting old now with old hardware so running anymore than one game would definitely cause issues for me so I avoid it either way.

As much as I do prefer to build my own PC as it means I could probably save some money by doing so, even though I know a bit about building a PC I know I do not know enough for me to do it myself so I always go for pre-builds. The PC I have now is a pre-build and I have had it nearly 5 years and I am now starting to have issues with it. I will more than likely go for a pre-build again when I get a new one.

Oh yes, I used to use Humble Bundle myself. I remember some streamers used to give their codes away from Humble Bundle for giveaways which I am guessing would be very much frowned up on by them? I don't use Humble Bundle as much now but it's nice to have it there for times when they do some good games that I would be interested in.

Yeah I had heard of that. I haven't known anyone myself who lost a game that they had bought but I do know that people have due to this. It's a shame really as publishers do what they can to find people who do that but many can slip through and go undetected.

Most games do seem to be taking this approach now, yes. I myself was one of the ones who purchased Destiny 2 when it was released and paid the full price of a new video game so as you can imagine, I wasn't happy when they announced it was going free-to-play after so many years but it is what it is I guess. I still play it from time to time and I have the Witch Queen DLC which I have really enjoyed playing. I know there is another DLC coming out at some point this year though.

I last played Fortnite on the Xbox Series S. My son wasn't using his series s anymore since get got a gaming PC and has let me have it to use. Loving how much more faster things are with the Series S though. I played one game tonight on Fortnite to complete a challenge I needed to do, would have played more but with me being so busy haven't been able to.

This definitely does not come as a shock to be honest. I never played the game but I knew people that did and many were disappointed with the game right from the release with a lot of complaints being made quite often. It is a shame for those who were excited for the game and are huge Marvel fans as many were so excited for this game and it was nothing but a let down from the get go.

I haven't seen any Twitch channels that have done this recently but I have seen it in the past so I know exactly what you are talking about. Twitch has extensions that can be used with your stream and a lot of game developers build the extensions for their games which allows viewers to be able to interact with the game in some way so it is likely it was an extension that was used for this.

It's been a while since I was gripped on a game to be honest and couldn't pull myself away from it. I would have to say that the last game I played that had me gripped was Destiny 2 with the Witch Queen DLC. After getting that DLC I spent hours up on hours on Destiny 2 going through the new expansion and just having a blast.

Which PlayStation One cases did you prefer? Long box or jewel case?
Shortie replied to Kane99's topic in Playstation
Yes I remember how bad the cases were for damaging the manuals. Wasn't the most ideal if you were someone who wanted to keep their games in good condition including the manuals as any time you took them out and went to put them back in again, they would some how get caught and end up damaged. -
Yeah I do like the random feature on Fortnite for skins. Gives you the chance to have a random skin from your saved lockers each time you jump in a game. It was a very nice addition by Epic Games. I think I know which skin you are on about but the name escapes me, it is a good skin!

Yeah it does seem that even though many keep going back to GTA they do seem to be too burned out on it to keep playing. A new game in the series really can not come soon enough but aside from the leaks last year, nothing else has been mentioned as to when we will see the next game, GTA VI yet. Can only hope it's sooner rather than later.

Do you feel Apex Legends could be a game that dies soon?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
They do still update it but it's been the quality of the updates and the changes made to the game that has had people worried it would seem. It does still have quite a big player base so in that way it will still live but many are concerned that if the quality of the updates and changes continues to lack, more people will leave the game. -
Yeah, a lot of people who came to the game after no build was released and realized there were certain skins were quite gutted to find out they were battle pass exclusives. Many have voiced their opinions about Epic considering releasing older battle passes so that ones people missed or didn't complete would have the chance to go back and play through them. Whilst that would be a cool idea, I feel it would be difficult with the quests and such.

This was a game I missed if I am honest but from what you describe, it sounds like a game I would have definitely played and would have had fun doing so. From the video, the movement looks like a game I would struggle with at first but with patience I would more than likely be able to get on with it.

Which PlayStation One cases did you prefer? Long box or jewel case?
Shortie replied to Kane99's topic in Playstation
I much preferred the smaller, fatter jewel cases to be honest, I though the longer thinner ones were just ugly looking and were more difficult to store as well because they were longer. I feel the smaller jewel cases also looked more professional as well compared to the long thin ones. -
As much as I would love to see Nintendo release PC games, the chances of them doing so are very slim as they tend to want to stick with their own games and be unique in that aspect which makes sense as that means they have an advantage over having different games than what are available on say Xbox and PlayStation as well.
-
I do remember these, yes but I never had one myself but I knew people that did have one. They always used to say how much they really enjoyed them and from their experience of them they did see worth it to own for sure. Something like this for Sega would definitely be amazing to see.

As much as I love the Nintendo Switch currently, I would absolutely love to see a newer Switch with better hardware where games could run just as well as they do on the Xbox and PlayStation. That would really open Nintendo up for more people I feel and would also help them with sales of their consoles a lot more than now. Don't get me wrong, the Nintendo Switch did sell and it sold well but something with a lot better hardware would probably be received by so many more.
