Have you ever had an accident whilst playing VR?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Virtual Reality
That is understandable. I have seen videos of little bumps and knocks but then I have seen ones of people full force hitting someone, falling over, whacking into the TV and all kinds. VR is great as long as you remember that you have different surroundings away from the game you are playing and seeing. Plenty of space as well! -
Yeah Battlefield 2042 I had high hopes for but it really was a let down to be honest, was such as shame as Battlefield really is a good game if done right but this one, it had so much missing.
-
Yeah, I noticed you can get a lot of trolls in the game now who have a lot of weapons and equipment that you can not compete with and it can ruin the game experience which is a shame. I tried the races a few times myself and I did really enjoy that.

What has been your favorite Call of Duty map to date?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
I myself would definitely say to give Black Ops 3 a go. I was skeptical myself about the jet packs and such and the movement in that game when it was released but that has been the best COD I have played to date, I spent so much time on that game and if I was able to, I would go back to it in a heartbeat. -
I agree, both the first and second game were both paid games. I remember buying Destiny 2 myself when it first launched in 2016 and then I heard it was going free to play. I guess in a sense it does make sense as they do have to make money somehow, I think it was the way they announced things that many were annoyed with when they said they were going free to play. As long as I play it I will buy the DLC if I can afford it.

Have you played Halo Infinite since the somewhat failed launch?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
That is very true. I do feel that many are just tired of the as you say, same old and that is making people feel burned out by it and they are ending up not playing as much as they used to. I will admit I remember when I played Halo 3, I played that for months and had so much fun. As much as I have played Halo Infinite I haven't had the same excitement or urge to want to play like I did Halo 3 and even Reach and ODST. -
Which game can you go back to over and over again and not get tired of?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
I wouldn't say Pokemon games were something I would go back to but I feel I missed out on the Pokemon games on Gameboy as I never fully understood them and my brothers never took the time out to help me learn them. I would love to go back and try to learn them now if I could but getting hold of the games and the Gameboy now would either be difficult or very expensive. -
What has been your most favorite Call of Duty weapon to date?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Oh I remember the Spas 12 from OG MW2, it was my favorite shot gun in that game but I do agree, it's very difficult to find a decent shotgun in COD nowadays, I always feel pretty disappointed by many of them. -
Which Harry Potter games have you played and which has been your favorite?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
I would absolutely love to see Quidditch World Cup on newer consoles for sure. I feel that game could be amazing with how online gaming has progressed so far since that was first released. Being able to go against other people in a game like this would be a lot of fun! -
It is a quite easy game to get hold of 🙂 free to play game and I believe it's available on Xbox, PC and PlayStation and if I remember rightly, Nintendo Switch as well 🙂

Do you think free online multiplayer games will become more frequent?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum
This is something I have noticed too. Fortnite and PUBG were really the ones that made the free online multiplayer a thing and how they did things was unique and then Warzone came in and as much as they put their own swing on it, it was pretty much the same as what PUBG and Fortnite had already done. Then you had Apex Legends who again, did pretty much the same things and it's just been the same ever since. Aside from games like Fall Guys, most are pretty much the same. We need something more unique for sure. -
I agree, they do things a little bit differently to other platforms and all too often it can be confusing with how they do things. I know many people have been able to make a living on there which is great and makes you realize it is possible if you have something to offer that is unique and people want to see.

Do you feel battle passes are just the norm now in games?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum
I honestly did not know some $60+ games do have ads to be honest, I knew about battle passes as Call of Duty has one that is available for Warzone and also the Multiplayer side of things but if you are not into Warzone, you are technically paying the price tag and then having to pay for the battle pass as well, that is pure greed. But ads as well on games that price? That is shocking and definitely a greed I never thought some game publishers would ever sink to. -
I agree, this is something they do have to work on but I think it will be a while before we see it be stable enough to be able to play when on the road or travelling anywhere. I have used it to play games in my house and also in my garden and the connection stays stable but I haven't tried it away from home on my mobile network yet, I would imagine I would more than likely have issues with it then to be honest.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is one I had forgotten about but man that game is so much fun. I haven't played it in a long while but the last time I played it I have a lot of fun with it, it's definitely a game you can go back to whenever and be able to play. It got me thinking about another game I like to play solo as well, Burnout Paradise is another one, man that game is a lot of fun. I downloaded it again on the Xbox One a little bit ago and played it again, still so much fun!

Lil Whip sure is a fun skin definitely. I loved the fact he got his own emote this past summer as well and that song with the emote is such a vibe. These are the kind of skins I love to see from Epic games in Fortnite, their own designs that are fun and unique.

It seems GTA VI can't come soon enough for many. I know that many still play GTA V because it is the most recent game and still heavily updated but once you have played it and got burned out on it, you are going to want to see a new game for sure. It was leaked a little while back but still nothing in terms of any release yet, has anyone heard any news about a GTA VI release or are we still in the dark on that one?

Dead by Daylight is a free game yes, I believe much like all free games they do offer in game purchases which is understandable. Not sure if they have a battle pass but they may do, I can't remember myself.
-
The last game I played was some candy crush earlier on my phone whilst I was taking a break from things I needed to do today. Still on the earlier levels at the moment so they have been easy to pass but I am expecting the more tougher levels soon.

What game would you like to see in VR that isn't?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Virtual Reality
You mention wrestling games in VR and I honestly never thought of that but now that you mention it, it would be very interesting to see that in VR for sure, especially if it was done right. You know, something else I think would be amazing taking it away from the game but could you imagine a live main event for WWE in VR? Anyway, back on topic. If they got the controls right and it was made safe, wrestling in VR could be quite popular. -
From what I understand it is a completely different experience and many prefer it to just sitting and playing it with a controller or a keyboard or a phone. I guess playing it in VR you probably feel more part of the game in a sense which would make it a whole different experience for sure.
-
I know you can get emulators for your phone but I haven't added any to my phone at all. I am intrigued though and may have to look into the best emulator to get as I would love to be able to go back to some older games I can no longer play now as I no longer have the console just for nostalgia purposes.
-
I agree, there are many other ways you can give users of your game an incentive to buy your game rather than throwing in way too many ads it becomes just too much. The game I was playing that had ads every 1 - 2 minutes, they seemed like a new game and they didn't even have a purchase the full game option so it really was that they fired out a free game and they are going over kill with the ads to make money.
-
Yeah, it seems that many people create these mobile games in a bid to just cash in and whilst so many people are jumping and buying into it they will continue to do it. Unless they start losing money because people avoid buying into the app when they are pay to win it could be a long while before we see mobile games getting better in that aspect.
