Have you ever experienced motion sickness when using VR?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Virtual Reality
I know what you mean. I often have to take breaks away from my PC when working due to eye strain. I did have a funny feeling that it may have some kind of effect on motion sickness being how motion sickness is caused. It would be fun to be able to try out I guess and would be something I would give a shot and if it made me unwell I would then just leave it and not bother. -
Clone Hero itself is very much legal I can assure you of that. There will be no mention of how or where you can get any downloaded content just like I never mentioned it in the OP due to the said issue. As for rules I am very much aware of the rules and I am also not stupid as you seem to keep pointing out so much in these replies like I am some child. Like I said, clone hero is legal and I never mentioned anything regarding anything that may be 'illegal' at all in this thread such as links or information where to download certain things, if clone hero were illegal I am pretty sure the many content creators would not be streaming it being that I am also a content creator myself. I shall leave it at that.

I also got this emote myself as well when it was released the other day. I was actually quite surprised to see Metallica in Fortnite but with Epic Games and Fortnite, anything is possible. I think this emote is cool with how you can have up to 3 others including yourself join in with it. Another great emote by Epic.

They usually don't do an event but every hour on the hour if you jump in you will get to see a countdown, ball drop and a firework display and then they display Happy New Year and of course this time it will be 2023. It's always great to jump in and experience it if you can at some point during New Years Eve.

I am not sure now if they have a difficulty option either, I will have to ask my son as he would know. I know he is eager to get a guitar to play with as as much as he does enjoy playing using keyboard he prefers the guitar for a more real effect I guess with a game like that.

I last played some 8 Ball Pool on my mobile phone a little bit ago, it was a nice change to play that for a little while and I did quite well on it for not playing pool on my phone for a while.

I don't have too much myself but my kids have a lot of video game figures such as Fortnite Funko Pops, Mario and Yoshi figures and they also have a lot of gaming posters as well such as Fortnite related ones 🙂

I would most definitely have to choose the Series X with me being more of a console player than say a PC gamer and I am not a huge fan of PlayStation so a PlayStation 5 wouldn't work for me. I am hoping to get a Series X myself at some point when things are a little better financially for me. Been stuck with my One X for 3 years now and whilst it has served me well, I am noticing the difference with games the more they update.

Do you remember Tennis Ace on the Sega Master System?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum
If you ever can get your hands on a Sega Master System I would highly recommend it as it was such a good console back in the day. Tennis Aces was great if you were a tennis fan but if you are not, it's not one you may have an interest in. -
Yeah trolls get their kicks out of the attention so the more attention it gets the better it is for them no matter the consequences for others. No matter how much you tell people though that not go give in to the trolls, people still will and things like this will always keep going and will always get the reaction they do.

Yeah I wouldn't go out of my way to get achievements to be honest. If they are easily obtainable I will go for them but if not, unless I get them by luck they stay unachieved to be honest. I still see so many going for every achievement though and for some it's very much a hobby now.

Yeah that sucked that they only made the vBucks an option for people who originally played the game. I know my son was getting vBucks for the longest time for logging into Save The World and then they just stopped allowing it because he hadn't purchased save the world and he was getting it because his Xbox was set as my home Xbox.

Have you ever tried any of the creative modes such as death runs or anything like that. I find when I am fed up of battle royale looking to see what is available in creative is always a great option. They even offer XP now in creative modes so that you can still level up whilst playing which is a huge incentive. During the Halloween month of October I played a lot of the Trick or Treating Gun Game. That was a lot of fun and some really generous XP as well.

This does not surprise me at all. The lengths that people will go to just to try and cause trouble is just ridiculous if I am honest and something like this is lucky that it gets checked like it does because the consequences could have been fatal if they were not checked especially with something as serious as this. It won't be the last time though if I am honest and I would expect to see more of this as time goes on.

Five Nights at Freddy’s getting its own movie as well
Shortie replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I can understand where you are coming from. From a viewers stand point I can understand why many would see it as boring as it can feel that way when watching it and not being sure what is going on or the point in the game. I was the same until I started watching more people playing it and they would explain things and that is when I understood it a little more. -
May have to check that out and see if I can pick them up when I have some extra funds to be able to do so. Would love to be able to play a game I never was able to and it would give me something different to play if I am honest when I feel l like a change from the usual.

Yeah I will admit the thought of it being active all the time was worrying. I only ever had it plugged in if my kids were using it for a game and then it would get unplugged after that until they wanted to use it again. Was very skeptical about it being on all the time and being active all the time, it did seem a little weird.

Yeah I wanted to jump on the Mr Beast skin or even the bundle but unfortunately due to lack of funds this time of year I have had to give it a miss this time around. I believe that is the case for a lot of people though as I haven't seen many people with the skin at all. One of my youngest sons managed to get the bundle as he saved his vBucks and was able to earn enough in the battle pass to get the rest for the bundle so he is happy,

I myself too am an adult and I love to play the game. I know many adults myself that play the game and have a lot of fun on it. I feel that because of the way the game is, it can easily be classed as a kids games even though it's not. As an Epic Partner myself, I can confirm the game is far from dying off especially with Zero Build and the new chapter and season that has just released. It seems to be more popular than ever at the moment and I for one am enjoying the new chapter and season. More people came to the game who would never play it before due to the release of zero build and I feel that is amazing to see.

Something that has always put me off using or getting VR aside from the price has been the fact I have heard that it can cause motion sickness. Being that me and my children all suffer from this, it's put me off wanting to save and spend the hefty price for it. Has anyone here used VR and experienced motion sickness? Is it something that happens?

I honestly never played Dead or Alive myself but my brothers played it and it did look like a game I would be interested in but my brothers being how they were back then wouldn't always let me play so I gave up and never bothered. I would love to play them though at some point if I am honest.

I have seen some people playing this on stream and it looks like a super awesome game to be honest and quite a laugh. I will not be able to get it myself any time soon but when I am able to, I will be jumping on it to play.

Which character do you like to play in Apex Legends?
Shortie replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
Oh I have been using that function, I can assure you and I can also assure you that any other threads are SO OLD so I can't possibly post in those now can I? Cos I mean -
I never had any Pokemon games myself growing up, it was more my brothers who had them and I remember them having Red and Blue when I was growing up. I remember trying to play them but could never get the hang of them and they would never sit and show me so I gave up. I know my youngest brother collected more himself as he was a huge fan of them and I remember him having Yellow and I believe he also got Gold as well.

Apex Legends has been out since early 2019 and it's slowly grown throughout the years with an Arena mode you can now play which is a nice change from Battle Royale. In Apex you get the change to play as a character you like with each character having different abilities. My question to you is who is your favourite to play as in Apex Legends? For me it's a choice between Lifeline, Bangalore or Loba. I feel having three to choose from helps me if someone takes a character I could have played, I can then switch to another I am able to play well with.
