  1. As much as this seems like a crazy way to recruit people into the military I can understand why they would use this method for recruitment as many people who play games such as say Call of Duty and Battlefield may have some kind of interest in joining the military and having the details to be able to apply for that would be made easier if they have some kind of connection with gaming and esports. That is actually quite a smart move on their part.
  2. Personally I would love to see it released with the current gen as I feel it would be a nice upgrade to the controllers that we have now. Unfortunately I feel that it probably will not be released with the current gen but we can only hope maybe with as you say when a successor is launched. It would make more sense to release when a successor is launched to be honest, a whole updated console with a new updated controller with LCD display, that would be awesome!
  3. I tend to forget a lot of stuff soon after I played the game if I am honest but I am always forgetting things quite easily so that is normal to me to be honest. I find that I have to play through either certain parts again to remember what is going on in the game before I continue or if it's a game I played fully through in one sitting I will play through the game again just to try and remember what happened. It can be very frustrating sometimes.
  4. My favorite search engine used to always be Google, it was the first place I went to whenever I needed to search for something. Over the last year or so though, that has changed and I now tend to use Bing more than any other search engine mainly because when I search I can accumulate Microsoft reward points which help me get gift cards and subscriptions for my Xbox.

    When Your PC Dies

Not too long after I got my PC I had an issue with the USB ports on the top of the case, they had slipped and needed to be put back in place. Being that my PC was still under warranty I was able to send it back for repair. I was without my PC for nearly a week due to the repairs but luckily I had a laptop that I could switch to for the time being to be able to continue working and doing anything else I needed. If I didn't have the laptop option though, I would have more than likely spent my time either gaming or watching TV shows if need be.

    Elgato vs Avermedia?

At the moment I have an Elgato stream deck, Elgato HD60S and an Elgato Wave 3 all of which are serving me well and I have had no issues with that weren't an easy fix to be honest. My capture card I have had since around 2018 and the same with my stream deck and both are still working perfectly fine. My Wave 3 is something I got a few months ago but so far I am really happy with it and don't have any issue with it. I am interested to see how Avermedia fairs against Elgato though so if there ever was a time that I needed to replace my capture card, I probably would go with Avermedia.
  7. For the longest time I was using Chrome on my android phone up until I realized you could get Microsoft Edge on android as well. Since I use Edge on my PC with me having a Microsoft account and I can earn Microsoft Reward points for things like searching, it seemed the better idea to have Edge as a browser on my phone as well to syn everything across both devices.
  8. If I find a game I am interested in that is both on PC and mobile I will always choose to get the PC version first. If I like the PC version and it's a game I would also like to play on the go, that is when I would download the game on my phone. Luckily with most games now you have a cross progression system in place so with some games I can play on PC and mobile and have my account be on both devices which I love.
  9. No I don't always have the latest phone, at the moment I am currently using the Huawei P30 which I have been using now for around a year and it's still working fine and handling apps that I frequently use so I haven't had any reason to want to or need to upgrade to another phone. I normally keep the same device I have for around 2 years if not longer if I am able to and find that they last me for what I use my phone for.
  10. When I think about the apps I have on my phone and then checking again to confirm the apps I have on my phone are right I don't think there is an app that I would say is strange if I am honest. I have the usual apps like messenger, twitch, twitter, banking app, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and such but I don't think there is really an app I would call strange. I do have Zedge which is an app for ringtones and wallpapers for your phone.
  11. Being that I played PUBG on console back in 2018 I believe it was and I never really got on with the game on console due to the movement and just the whole feel of the game, I have never felt the need to try PUBG on mobile. It doesn't seem to be as popular as other games on mobile such as Call of Duty or even Apex Legends if I am honest which are games I have been curious about on mobile and have played.
  12. I haven't played Smash Bros in so long even though I have the game and have had it pretty much since it was released. Absolutely love the game if I am honest and it makes for a lot of hours of fun. In terms of what character I would love to see in the Smash Bros game I honestly do not know. There are already so many awesome characters in the game and I know myself that new characters have been released since the last time I played it so I would have to catch up on who is now in the game before I was to make a choice on who I would love to see in the game that isn't already.
  13. My favorite Nintendo console without any doubt at all would have to be the Super Nintendo. I have so many memories of playing games with my brothers and my Mum on that console and one game that always jumps out at me every time I think of that console was Yoshi's Island. I absolutely loved that game and spent hours up on hours when I was younger playing that game. I recently played it again on the Nintendo Switch and it brought back so many memories.

    Mario Party

I honestly never got chance to play any of the Mario Party games when I was younger mainly due to funds and parents and such not being able to always get many games for us. Mario Party is something though that I have seen many streamers play and it does look like a ton of fun to be honest especially if you get the family together and play together it could be a real good time. I am actually eager to try a Mario Party game myself being that I never actually played one. The Nintendo Switch may be the first place I try this game.
  15. I haven't played Splatoon 2 myself no but I have seen others playing it and it sure does look a lot of fun. I am wondering if maybe there is a demo that I could try before I buy the game, usually they do demos on the Nintendo Shop for games such as this. I may try the demo and see what I think and possibly buy it at a later date. I can imagine it becoming addictive though from what many have told me.
  16. Being a gamer since I was really little, I have come across a lot of mascots in the gaming world some of which I am not a huge fan of maybe because they were the bad guy in the franchise and others that I absolutely loved. Taking away the usual ones like Sonic, Mario, Tails, Luigi I would have to say that Crash Bandicoot is probably my favorite video game mascot. I absolutely loved Crash Bandicoot when I was growing up and even now, he has always been a favorite of mine, You know, with Mario being such a popular game on Nintendo especially when I was growing up you would think that he would be the outright winner for the Nintendo mascot but since Pokemon became more and more popular, Pikachu seems to have taken that top mascot spot for Nintendo.
  17. I can't say myself I have had an issue with the gun fire visuals in a game myself but I can fully see why some people would have this issue and it's a shame that developers do not give an option for these kinds of visuals to be turned off so that people who are affected and may end up having seizures can still have the option to play the game and not miss out because it may affect them by playing. I can understand developers wanting the game to be as realistic as possible and that is understandable but taking into consideration the possibility of their player base possibly having seizures would be a wise decision on their part.
  18. I remember when Bully was released, it was a game that was so popular but I myself couldn't fully get into the game if I am honest. I have teens that actually played the first game and loved it and all too often keep asking me if I have heard anything about a Bully 2 with their being rumors around the internet regarding it. I notice that Rockstar don't like to rush their games at all and that is proven with games like GTA and then time between new releases of their GTA games much like the time difference between 5 & 6 at the moment. I would imagine if there is a Bully 2 in the works, they will be working on that at their own pace ensuring that the game is as they intend it to be when they do decide to release it. In terms of what I feel they need to do from what I know from the first game, is don't make too many changes in terms of the mini games or even the way the game is worked around a school timetable. I feel with the first game they got all this right and not many changes need to be made to that at all. Maybe bring in newer mini games for the lessons so that we don't have the same old from the first game.
  19. I have found that with the amount of games I play with an autosave feature usually it will replace the last autosave that you have every so often when you are playing the game but in some cases you can also make a save yourself as well which will not override when the game autosaves. It varies with each game though I noticed and in some cases, when the game autosaves it will create a new save every time. This doesn't happen with all games but the odd few may have it enabled to do that.
  20. Whenever developers removed a feature in a game it's usually I find to bring it back at a later date in a new game in the series. Usually it's the most popular features that end up being removed from the game that they know their user base are going to miss and then when they leave it long enough and bring it back to a new game in the series, consumers are excited to see it back and will jump on the game even paying full price for it. It's the developers way of milking more money out their customers which is a shame but if people bite then they will keep on doing it.
  21. I would have to say my favorite especially at the moment is Epic Games. They do so much for their user base and customers even to the point where they offer free games, some of which are absolutely amazing and a steal if you manage to grab them when they roll out before they leave for another free one. My worst I would have to say is probably EA. I hate how with EA everything is money, money in a sense especially with their games not to mention the fact the customer service is never always the greatest when you have an issue with their services or it hasn't been in the past for me when I have needed to contact them.
  22. That awful feeling you get when you realize that the magazines you used to collect all those years ago would have been perfect to keep for future as part of a collection and now that you would like to be able to do so it may cost you way too much to even consider. I am betting a lot of the magazines that most of us wished we had kept would be for sale on places like eBay. With them being so rare now though I can only imagine the price people would be asking for them if they are on there for sale.
  23. For me the most guilt inducing moment in a game that I always remember and I am betting so many others remember because it is one of those scenes that just sticks in your head is in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on the airport scene where you have to shoot and kill people in the airport during a scene in the story. I always remember playing that scene and thinking how messed up it was that we had to do that in the game and remember how guilty I felt for doing it even though it was part of the story and was in a game.
  24. Sometimes I really do dislike living in the UK when it comes to things like the game awards as it is on so late for me so unfortunately I missed it as I had to head to bed for an early start this morning. I will be catching up on anything that was announced today though. I am honestly not surprised that Game of the Year was Elden Ring. That game was popular right off the release and even now I still see people playing the game and really enjoying it.
  25. I honestly do not see Microsoft taking over Activision/Blizzard with the trust that they will not make games exclusive and other platforms lose out. Phil Spencer especially is all for making gaming for everyone and enabling everyone to play games on their console of choice. This would go against what he stands for within the company both for Xbox and Microsoft and would land him with a lot of trust issues. Seems weird that they would wait until the deal has gone through and now decide to investigate.
